guys my mom just got in an accident, she's alright, but she broke her thumb.

Broken thumb, huh? Could be worse. Could be big toe or pinky toe. And then there are the shins....

Bones take almost a year to truely heal. This is due to the fact that the plasmids which bust nearby ossify to help heal damage, but it creates a massive bulge, like when you have too much metal on a joint when you weld things together.
But how long until she's out of a splint? I think 8 weeks is standard for most bones...

It was bad enough they didn't use the biodegradible ones? or will health insurance just not cover 'em?
