Icarus looked up from her work and looked at the book. "Blood magic? That's weird. But her, now we know dragons are real. And they're our little secret." she said with a smile, peering into the sidecar.

Benjamin shrugged and put the book down. "You seem to be in a good mood, pájaro." He sat down beside the side car of her Vespa, trying to peer in to see if the little dragons were awake. He watched as Icarus made little knotted toys for them, and he grabbed a piece of rope, making one, too.

Icarus smiled again and continued, soon finishing the latest toy. She set it aside before picking up the sleeping dragons and letting them curl up in her lap. She pet them softly, sighing lightly. "So when does mail come tomorrow?"

Benjamin shrugged and started to pet the dragons as well, though mostly the fluffy one. After all, it's hard to pet something not fluffy. "No sepa. Why, you expecting something, pájaro?" he asked casually. He wasn't really trying to pry, since he kind of didn't care, but this might explain her seemingly good mood. [OOC:] "Don't know."

Icarus smiled and scratched the black one under its chin, making the beast purr happily. "Better than any pink slip." she muttered, holding the two reptiles on her lap and relaxing. Maybe she could find out who really cared about her.

[OOC:] So who's it gonna be? Benjamin leaned against the closest car, opening the book again and starting to flip through it. "So, are you actually going to stick around for classes tomorrow, then?" He'd already pegged her as the kind of person to skip out as soon as possible, but as he'd established, he was looking for allies that he wasn't getting. Not to mention, they wouldn't split up the dragons, but she would probably take them away.

[OOC:] The letter? No friggin clue. Maybe Katani. Shiro's probably been quite busy with recouping from the bubonic plague and the wars. Still many a wandering soul out there.
Icarus looked back up at Benjamin and nodded a little. "Guess I'll have to. Don't mind sharing a few books?" she asked jokingly.

[OOC:] Kaitani is cool. Benjamin shrugged, still petting the fluffy dragon. "Not a problem, pájaro. That is, if we've got the same classes." Benjamin had his schedule in his pocket still from his trip to the library, and he pulled it out, dropping it on the floor in case Icarus actually wanted to look at it. He was only taking five legit classes, and one elective. [OOC:] What kind of classes should they take?

Icarus grabbed the paper and looked at the classes. She then pulled out her own schedule and matched them up. "I have your science and your history class. The rest are different." she said, giving the paper back and tucking her own away as well. She then put the black dragon back into the sidecar to rest more before looking to him. "What else does that fancy book of yours say?"

Benjamin nodded, putting away his schedule. Then he picked up the book and started flipping through it. "Well, it has the whole árbol de familia of this place. I can tell what belongs to who with it. there are all sorts of people in it."

Icarus nodded some and thought for a moment. She then pulled out the raven pendant. "What about this? Anything about this in there?" she asked, handing Benjamin the pendant.

Benjamin took it and flipped through the page. "Looks like it belonged to a guy named Shiro. He married into the family to a princess... He was the elder of a village of supposed raven demons, and later became a god of death in order to save his wife and her sister-in-law."

Icarus looked at the book over his shoulder, nodding some. "Raven demons? So... All this demon stuff is true? I mean the dragons were real enough..."

Benjamin shrugged and closed the book again. "I'm not going to believe anything until I see it con mis propios ojos." He looked at the dragons again, though, realizing that those were pretty damned real, so why wouldn't the rest be? [OOC:] "with my own eyes."

Icarus nodded some and sat on her Vespa. "Guess we should turn in for the night. It's getting a little late." she said, rubbing the back of her neck. The girl wondered if the letter was coming.
