Twilight Justice And here I thought I was the only one who still checked this place. My friend list shows most of us haven't even logged on in months, so I guess in truth this place closed a long time ago. I hardly deserve thanks; if I'd turned over the reigns to someone else sooner, perhaps it would've gotten more mileage. It was a lot of exercise in unconstrained creativity here. Maybe if I have the time, I'll make a members only thread where people can say where to find them, in case they don't want to let these relationships fall apart completely. Without you we wouldn't even have a guild TJ since you were the one that fought for ownership. You had to plan and adjust RP's around some of the largest egos Gaia has to offer. So even though you'll always be a modest b*****d, I still appreciate what you did. And yes, if you could do that I'd hate to lose what little contact I have with the rest of you so a MO thread would be nice when/if you get the chance.

Well this is just saddening. I suppose it all had to close down eventually. I know I for one fell out of touch for large portions of time due to the military, but still, many days in years gone by were spent right here and before that in the original thread before guilds were truly created on Gaia. From the days of go-gaia to now. Lot of time and a lot of memories. I'm still around if anyone feels inclined to contact me, but eh. Life goes on for the lot of us. We've grown, gone to school, gotten jobs, joined the military, etc. I know I'm rambling, but hey, there were ups and down. Good times and bad. I look back on it all with fondness. I suppose though, that my days of role playing are through, now that this place has finally closed it's doors. Best of luck to everyone in their endeavors.

Now I feel a bit guilty having rarely coming in here to check on things. Can't say I didn't anticipate the final closure, but I also can't say that it didn't come as a complete shock as well. Somehow I always believed that the Black Company would still hang around, however quiet and abandoned, if for nothing else than the few old souls who hung around back when before it joined the GGN.
It's been a wild, and chaotic, run, folks and I'm glad to have been apart of the story we made. If anyone still plays, in other venues of story writing, be sure to keep me appraised of any potential works you're looking to include others in. I don't typically play Tegral any longer - as evident from the user name - but I'll probably be floating around on a mule I've been goofing off on recently.

As I said, "I'd love to continue writing stories with any and everyone from the Black Company. Just send a PM and I'll hurry over tut-sweet."

Well s**t. I get drunk one random Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and hop on here...And I have the last post. I guess this place is well and truly dead. I have to admit, even though I haven't even logged into Gaia in perhaps a year or more...This makes me sad.
