Nuri I really need to read labels of "healthy" drinks before I try them. Fricken Fuze hiding pomegranate in their blueberry raspberry drink. At least I didn't drink a lot of it....no rash, just an upset stomach. That's no fun. xp My dad has a similar thing with strawberries. I'm always really careful when buying bottled drinks. Too much sugar or caffeine will have me down for the count in minutes. sweatdrop Although, these days, it's getting easier to find things that are lower in sugar or are caffeine-free. A lot of healthier juice-based drinks are using fructose (fruit sugar) instead of sucrose (refined table sugar), which takes longer to metabolize (yay!). Of course, everything's easier to find in Seattle. I'll prolly have to go right back to avoiding juice drinks when I get back home for the summer.

I went back into the archives. My first post in the guild was Fri Jul 15, 2005 11:39 pm. About three days after I joined Gaia I was already causing trouble.

TeaDidikai Quote: Wow, the world is so small. xd I can't even list how many summers I spent there. The town has actually gotten quieter since when I was a kid. It's such a lovely area though. We went through there last summer, stopping at various bays and lookouts. Coming and going up the coast my husband and I always stop at Hug Point to hop out of the car, head down onto the beach and... well... hug. whee There are so many awesome places along the coast, amazing natural places, forests, beaches, rocks, cliffs, tidepools, shipwreck sites, lighthouses... it can fill many trips. How far south have you been on the Coast? Have you been to Florence? I am a carnivorous plant hobbyist and keep a whole bunch of them, and it so awesome to walk through the cobra lily bogs and the rainforest there. TeaDidikai Quote: I've done a lot of fossil hunting and rock hounding up and down the coast, too. Agates! The tide pools just south Garibaldi are amazing! I love tidepools. I'm such a geek. Last summer we spent several afternoons squatting over tidepools, poking at anenomes and squealing at hermit crabs. What I remember most about Garibaldi from my childhood, however, is going to flea markets. My grandma loved flea markets. sweatdrop TeaDidikai I still have my kite that my Grandpa gave me the summer before he passed. I have never, in my whole life, owned an actual, flyable kite.

MoonJeli How far south have you been on the Coast? I've taken 101 down to the Red Woods in Northern Cali. Quote: I am a carnivorous plant hobbyist and keep a whole bunch of them, and it so awesome to walk through the cobra lily bogs and the rainforest there. Haven't been. The plants I'm currently growing is a spider plant and a lovely camillia sinesis. Quote: I love tidepools. I'm such a geek. Some more often than others xd Twinkle and Sannion actually argued on my LJ!! Well at least it seemed civil -- if a little biting. Let's make a Hellenic pact right here: We don't attempt to define what Hellenic Polytheism is (other than the worship of Greek gods) and if we have problems, we talk to each other. I mean, none of the people seem all that bad -- even the people I don't like have value to their statements.

I feel more sympathy for the sannoin crowd, buts thats a personal thing because of my dislike for Tim. Who, by the way; writes his articles like the persuasive texts I have to write for my english language exams.

But I think that Tim might be on to something if Hellenismos is strictly the Reconstructive arm of Hellenic polytheism. Now, if he would just quit trying to define what all of Hellenic paganism means, I'd be happy.
