Relinth Thares The problem with BC was it's Villans began to lack the ability to engage many or all of the people they were supposed to be a threat too. Key is to find something that would cause us all to be interested in stopping or interacting with such a person. What if we just went and put a planet sterilizer up in orbit then proceeded to rain down death and destruction on a global scale until certain objectives were met?

Sorry, happens sometimes when I take my shirt off. Weird bright light and crazy women in robes with wings start singing. *Shrugs*

Nana_Wing Funny... I thought that's what happened when Mas stripped. heart whee No, you're thinking of the shrieking howl of a hundred homos and that bright light is just the reflection of his untanned, pale, body.

What if we just went and put a planet sterilizer up in orbit then proceeded to rain down death and destruction on a global scale until certain objectives were met?I was thinking something exactly along those lines... well minus the orbital strike platform thing. But I'm good at orbital strikes! And who said anything about a platform? Damn things are sitting ducks when they're anchored to an orbital track, easy pickings for a half retarded firing solution. Even something like a heavy cruiser armed with kinetic projectiles that can dart about and avoid surface to orbital fire (because knowing Mas he's gonna have something in the Citadel that can reach up into space). Then all it has to do is just drop rocks on the BC, aided by the ship's acceleration, some magnetic accelerators, and essentially no friction resistance before it hits the atmosphere. After that it just draws all that latent kinetic energy and slams into the ground, effectively turning a hunk of heat shielded ore into a god damned bomb. And now that I think about it you wouldn't even need to park it in orbit unless you were using shuttles down to the surface or simply reducing the rock's travel time - which would be kinda silly considering the longer it travels the more energy/speed it picks up - otherwise it'd be better to park it out away from the planet so that way any particle or ion beam weapons would dissipate, losing so much of it's charged energy potential that the cruiser's screens could absorb them. Missiles and that like are just a joke too, take too long to get there and easily shot out of the stars.
