Well should put out a call to those members who still some-what RP. It'd be fantastic to see old time Gaia players on again for a common goal. Hrmm wonder if I could rope Pax into coming back

As I've suggested Nana I'm willing to purchase a sub-forum and run some of my own RP over there in my spare time. Like I said my old guild had a well established storyline and at least 3-4 people who are still active. We could easily tie things together. Little infusion of life couldn't hurt. We might have to look at recruiting new people too. No simple solutions.

Ok, lets see. We have a few of the Rose swords left. The Dojo should be the main focus again. Most of the Guild RPers were warriors, mercs, etc. We had big battles. Had an enemy to focus on. Had the Lady. Lets start with that. Add something simple and just go with it. Simplicity can go a long way.

Rel, I checked our your guild; there's no justification for using the subforums. The only reason subforums were added in the first place was so the pollwhore guilds and topical interest guilds had a place to put sub areas and the like. Roleplays like the BC are broken up geographically well enough by individual threads. The subforums add and unnecessary and irremovable level of organization that adds no benefit.

You want to bring your old story over to the BC? More than welcome? You want to make a couple of new threads? Fine, within reason and make them as needed, not before. Subforums only exist to justify the admins terrible idea that people could donate to a guild fund that couldn't be used for anything.

Onto other things.

The Lady was never really a guild villain. She was just there to give Focht a reason to be evil and horny. She was only mildly more interesting a character in the books. If you need a villain, drag Kai back here; she knew how to make a classic villain right. Otherwise, you need something new.

You're right Twi the more i think about it when we did use the subforums it was more of a pain to keep people's interest and it was alot of extra work. Alot of the old threads I deleted had far more traffic then any of the ideas I had thought up after that. Yeah I'd only bring a few threads. Making things to complex was part of why the old guild fell apart I think. (Not to mention me leaving)

The rest was kind of... uh, personal story arc filler.

Since Twi is currently too busy to play Mas, we must fill in the gaps with others. If need be, find or make a new villain for focus? Could recruit from outside, or try to get back some older villains or members willing to play the part.
