"Striking sooner than later will be in your favour, if you wait too long, you will find yourself with less of a home than you realize. And I think he is after you. I am of no consequence, probably a bug that happens to be in the neighbourhood." Kimmuriel shruged.
"No, The reference wasn't that I think your slaves will rebel. I examined your collars, they work well enough to keep them permanently in line, if one chooses to believe such a disheartning fact."
"If Lichie-pooh is after you, and we both go and he is killed. Everything is great. If lichie is after Meilikki, as you seem to believe, and we both go, not so great. It would probably be better if I stay near Meilikki when you take 'em out with your pretty light sabre."
"The history of our people are littered with conquests, yours and your planing probably would be insulted by my methods. My kin are simlilar to yours, they will sit about and plan for a mellenium how to take down another kingdom, Elfish or drow of course, but will choke on their plots when some divine inspired or accident occurs routing their plans. Warrior like myself are left in dire, while they regroup. Of course, I don't take well to being killed, we craft our own plot in a few minutes and strike out against a greater force. Perhaps I truly am the son of Lloth, perhaps not, but the fact remains, with barely a plan between the seven legions, we won a great victory. Better armed, better positioned, more numerous, and better supported enemy fell to a Princeling and his 35 000 warriors."
"Of course though, that plan concocted by those great military minds probably would have worked, or not. The enemy were planing their defense just as long as we were planing killing them. But who knows. Maybe Corellon really is dead."
"Of course, that is only one example of my methods applied almost ghostly to this world of evil."
"There was the time where I simply walked into the capitol of a certain Jon Irenicus' kingdom, and into his home, and killed him. That was at random. You know, I don't know why I do half the stuff I do. Maybe, its because I have no goal in life or because I merely exist to kill, Or to challenge all the great warriors, and slay them one by one until their bones litter the earth, and I am the only one standing in a field of battle where the fires of the deep shine ever so brightly..."
"Yeah, I am not much of a person. You basterd. Why do you get to live so comfortably and with such luxery and every other drow in this god forsaken dark has to fight each and every day of his life to stay alive?"
"Good planing? Or merely, unlike me, you have no enemies to hide from, because you babysit his children?"
"Or perhaps its becaue you have something to live for, and I do not. Yes, that is probably why I love you. You have something to live for."

A slight grin.
"Comfort is well earned, through long years. and I am surprised that your status as the son of lloth does not afford you such comfort. but then again, it probably makes you a prime target. As for Cymarron, whom I figure you were talking about with the children...I don't hide from him...there's no place you can hide from him. and it's Piper that kept his hand at bay."
A small sigh.
"You have much more than you think, Kimmuriel. much more. You're slaves follow you willingly into battle, you have ne need of collars or controls. And you have the Oracle, and..wether I should tell you or not, you have whirlwind, of whom of of those 'children' as apparently fallen for. You routed and practically own both Lostagrace and Deepwater. these are not grand feats to you, but impressive to me. I have not done such things for a long, long time. As for something to live for, That I have. and I think you have something to. You have your battles, you live for the fight, the challenge. Or perhaps there is someone you fight for?"
though a smirk.
"Then I'll strike, and strike hard at the cornfields. You need to stay by Melikki. then we'll see the reaction. I do however, what to borrow one of your relatives. the woman, the cleric. once the corn fields are burned, I wouldn't mind having her to bless the grounds so that this Lich might not be able to use any of his magics to regrow so easily his lost crop. Unless you'd prefer not to endanger her?"

"Uh... about the cleric..." Tarathiel chuckled, "She's a bit unhealthy at the moment, something about massive bug bits and a brother who... Well, I think you're going to have to look else where for a firemage."
"You know, if you let me borrow your little Llothian, I could have her calling the flames of Hell for yee. Being the son of her god, I might be able to get her a bit more favour, if you know what I mean." Tarathiel had to wink, he couldn't refuse his inner fairy.
"So Piper protects you from your enemy." Three, two, one. Kimmuriel laughed pretty hard for a moment, "You're kiddin, right?"

"hmm. I coudl see about arranging that."
Though he let him laugh. after all most woudl think of it like that too.
"Not in teh least. Vah are bound by thier promises for life. and he promised her that he woudl do what he coudl to make her happy, and that he woudl protect her. and as being with me makes her happy, he is bound by his promise not to lay a finger on me. thus, in essence, it is Piper that protects me from him. a friendship forged before she met me."
A small grin.
"I know how it sounds, but it's the wya it works. and trust me, I'm sure that old cat is just itching for a reason to come after me. and I'm sure if something happens to Piper, he'll be on his way the next second."

"Sounds exactly like something I would get myself into, but I of course would happen to sabatogue the situation even more into my favour." The drow smiled.
"Well, I've got some things to take care of. I believe Lord Diamond was about to crush what remained of Lostagrace when I came out hunting. Oh, and if you don't sign an independance treaty from King Jiscal, you are going to have to pay your taxes. As well as serve as a vassel."

"Is that so. then I'll be sure to sign one. I have no intention of serving under a human king. even if he is just a drow's puppet."
A small grin, getting up himself.
"I'll see about sending Zahara for further training. I think our little talk here might have helped us a bit in understanding one another. Oh and let me ask you a question about your Warhammer. is it possible to arrange a littel spectacle between that one and Onyx, the black vah? he seems a bit..agitated at not getting the opportunity the last few times."
"So how long before yu pull out your support from Jiscal and throw him to your dwarven allies?"

"Onyx wants to fight my Warhammer? No." Tarathiel replied, "Warhammer doesn't fight for show."
"The best Onyx probably could do is challenge WH to a duel, but he'd probably just decline it."
"King Jiscal, and probably."
"What about me makes you so certain I decided a date?"

"Becuase you'll want to get the most out of it. you'll pick a day of great signifigance to Jiscal. or of importance...and then throw him to the wolves. and since most of these times have particular dates, I would think you'd have a rough date in mind."
A shrug.
"Not that I care for the personal affair of the vah, but apparently his..infactuation with your Aella has led him to believe he owes some kind of honor debt or something that adds up to he wants to prove something by facing and beating the minotaur. I don't claim to understand it. Sounds to me more like he's jealous of your warhammer getting more time with her than he is."

"Warhammer is a laddies man. They all love him." Tarathiel said rather calmly, "Well, I am not going to act as an agent for his agenda, so if he wants to challenge WH so much, he's going to have to stop cowering and do it."
"Silly non-drow."
"You know, Jiscal's probably thinking that same thing." The drow laughed rather wickedly.
"Well, I should be going. I'll be seeing you." The drow bowed.

"I'm sure you will."
A small smirk and he let Kimmuriel leave before he took a sniff at the air..dear Innoruuk what in the nine hells was that smell? Must be a certain little girl attempting to cook again.

The drow soldier made his way to the exit, and upon his return to the greater realm of the dark, he blew his whistle which brought his ride flying to him. Mounting the wyrm, Tarathiel flew into the night.

She was helping them pack...reluctantly so...but still she was helping. "By elvish Gods, father...how many of these things did you do while you were down here?" That was said as she picked up another two journals for packing.
"Oh about...twenty three altogether. I could of done more but I paraphrased a lot." He chuckled lightly as his daughter merely shook his head as did he beloved. No he didn't think he went overboard...you could never go overboard with knowledge.
"You better count and make sure they're all there...wouldn't want to leave any behind. Then again knowing you, you would simply for an excuse to come back here so soon."
"Oh I can imagine now...you or both of you for that matter, dropping in at random times, most likely catching us in a humorous situation or some kind of peril. How do parents have that uncanny ability."
"Don't worry, we'll send you a note three days prior to our leaving...of course since Andal is ahead by two days that will leave you a day to prepare...hm...maybe we should send notes a week in advance..."
Fianna shook her head. "Don't worry, I won't let him pop up only to find you two having sex on the dinning room table." Yes she made herself a crude joke, which she laughed at, and Kieran join in on.
Piper only blushed slightly and shook her head before taking to packing again. "You two are impossible...and we make sure it's clean afterward...have to eat somewhere." Oh hell, why not get in on it too.

The Dragon landed ontop of the Keep, and allowed the single passanger to dismount. Tarathiel patted the creature on the nose, and let it fly off into the darkness.
Tarathiel walked into the second floor room, and found Orko puzzling over some minor trinket. "Make an audiance with Jiscal, and being phase twenty six."
"Phase twenty six? Are you mad sir!" Orko said with a great deal of jest.
"Mad, mad like the Fox." Looking about the room, "Where is Stoneshaper and Rydia?"
"They are in one of the side branches."
"Ok, well, why are you still here?"
"Sir." The wizard saluted and disapperated.
The Captain walked down the stairs and into the main room, ignoring the seemingly hostile situation. "Warhammer, I have a mission for you, where is Special?"

Naga nearly fell over herself with surprise and joy, altohugh she certianly didn't get any time to introduce herself as Kimmuirel started talking, that made her soemewhat sad.
Meilikki simply smiled and watched, getting up probably meant bumping into somebody, which was never fun, so she stayed seated.
Aella tapped Tarthiel on the shoulder. "I'm right here. Sound travels well in this keep you know, and we have someone trying to recoperate upstairs." She lifted an eyebrow. "So lets try not to make too much of a rukus, okay?" She had gotten used to the quiet that Meilikki so enjoyed.

"Hello my lovely Special Prisoner, I have a task for you-" He paused, "We are an inn now?" Chuckling he returned to his previous thought, "I need you to travel up and down the coast looking for a white ship with triangular sails. Their will be a Halfling and a few elves on it. Can you bring the halfling here." Not so much a question as an order.
Taking a deep breath, "Lovely Meilikki, I need to bring a person named Roarke here. Do you know how I can get him to come here?"
The drow turned his head and looked straight at the drow woman that seemed to have evaded his senses when he was distracted with what he was trying to do. "Who are you?"
