Celestia Whitesword Jaden_Ordo Celestia Whitesword Jaden_Ordo I was just freaked a little cause i thought the two of you were giving me the EVIL EYE or hatin' all up on me. Nah. I understand some heavy stuff came your way. Are you allright? I think so. I'm alot stronger now, mentally, than I was a few months ago. Things'll work themselves out, and if they dont... I can cope. smile confused I can definetely understand that. *pat pat* I'm a good listener if you need an ear. Some jerks would just outright flame you for it. ._. I may just take you up on that. Need opinions: After my first two years of college, I was thinking of joining the marines or army rangers. I qualify already. Any opinions?

I've had relatives in both branches of the service (Army. Not the rangers). So I've no opinion on the matter.

Cale Darksun I've had relatives in both branches of the service (Army. Not the rangers). So I've no opinion on the matter. Ah, but I wasn't asking about which branch. I'll choose the branch that doesn't try to screw me over on being an MP. I was asking do y'all think its a good idea for me to join or should I just stay in college. Here's my goal eventually; to be a Detective (perhaps NYPD) and eventually move on the the FBI. I can't decide if pure college would be best or college/military.

I recomend staying in school. A Detecive's intellect is his best weapon. If you're gonna be a gumshoe, you'll always have plenty of muscular grunts to order around, but you're the one detecting. You need to sharpen your mind and your eye. The only way to do that is by continuing your education. Theres alot the military can teach you, but when it comes to the field of Criminal Investigations they come up short.

Military can give a good future. Lets say you're in the military and you get an education. If you wanted to be a doctor, you'd get that degree. If you're a medic, and you fight before you get a job, putting that on your resume (sp?) would probably help you get the job. Cale has a good point though, life over death/risk of it.

Weak. Because it doesn't have "automatically wins" on it.
