Kibo: Then why use those slowpokes?
He jabs his thumb towards his swords.
Kibo: I can fly, remember?

"Since when can you fly underwater?"

Kibo: I'll send a spirit underwater with a pistol. Spirit bullets aren't slowed down in water, so when he sees the Dutchman, he'll fire a shot into the air to alert us. And I have more than just human spirits. There's a certain spirit who'll be perfect for the job.

She smiles hoepfully, tears rimming her eyes as she thought of Davy. She perked up as Luca suddenly woke and pounced off her lap, scuttling down the beach, senses going on the frits. He saw something wash up, picking it up and carrying it back to his owner.
"what's this?" she asked, picking up the strange looking object. it was a locket. She recognized it instantly.
"Davy's locket. he said that if I open it up and play it in the water, then he would hear it and come for me...I thought I had lost it in the storm..." she smiled, choking on laughter as tears of joy spilled down her cheek. She was going to be reunited with her king of the sea...

A few minutes later they were on the beach. She felt her heartrate quicken, as she wound up the locket and flipped it open, a gentle melody flowed from it. She laid it in the water, the sound a bit muffled but still very beautiful to hear. she waited patiently.

Kibo sighs, and kicks the sand, waiting impatiently.
Kibo: Well, while we're waiting, want a rum?
He pulls two rum bottles out of his pack, opens one, and offers the other to Azera.

She drinks it, shrieking as two mutated figures charged out of the water and took them by surprise, throwing the two onto the Flying Dutchman. One of the mates ran to get the captain.

Kibo glares around at the grinning abominations, and unsheathes a single, normal-colored blade. Now was not the time to draw attention to himself.

She stiffens as she could hear a loud thumping noise, almost like a heart beat echo through the ship's floorboards. She recognized it instantly. "Davy..." she whispered.
"You better put away that toothpick of a sword." the captain's voice boomed as he came into view, fixing his focus on Kibo, oblivious to the young lady just off to the side.

Kibo: This "toothpick of a sword," as you call it, is capable of more than you can imagine. I'll leave it out, thank you very much. If you have a problem with it, I'll be glad to take another of your little whiskers. Do you remember me yet?
