Jiang knew very little of his past other than he was born into a family of slaves. His masters were vampires, not the typical noblistic vampires, but the noblistic vampires who took much pleasure in the torture and humiliation of their servants. Beaten, whipped, and occasionally killed, this was the life of the slaves. Those who were lucky, however, were given the curse of the werebeasts and made into guardians to the nightwalkers. This was Jiang's fate, when he was chosen at a very young age due to his endurance and his quiet and obedient nature. At the age of 10, the house that Jiang served was attacked by a band of vampire hunters. Those at the time, who were transformed in their beast forms, were killed off with the vampires. Jiang was the only survivor, his parents dying shortly after.

The hunters took Jiang and brought him to a monastery in Ernya, where he now trains as a monk. Jiang still lives with the curse of the werebeasts, transforming into a large panda-like animal during the moon filled nights. While some would curse such a fate, Jiang has learned to live with it and to live a life of balance with the light and the darkness that now lives inside of him.

Made for Combat: Being a machine made for battle and war, Titan's battle capabilities are already programmed into the database of which it contains already. The massive strength behind Titan's body is responsible for the large size it has while having no organic tissue also means it can push past human limitations and battle those who succumb to the feeling of pain unlike Titan. Without the need of food, rest, air or any other life form's needs makes the robot able to press on longer than most fighters. [+2 Strength from Paladin, More Durable, no Human Needs]

Programmed to Follow: As apart of the Artificial Intelligence, Titan is programmed to recognize the deity Rykort as the creator of its body. It follows the path of the deity like any other human devoutee and strangely enough it has mystical powers like that of a Paladin. This suggests that Titan's body is more sentient than it may appear.

Battle Weakness:
A Set Path: The mentality of a Paladin is programmed rather strictly into Titan, making all of the rules, regulations, mantras, and everything relating to Rykort incorporated into the actions that it may do and cannot do. A prime example would be that Titan cannot strike one who has no defense, or go against the will of the deity of which it serves.

It is only a Machine: While Titan may not succumb to a decapitation or a barrage of arrows, it does have the limitations that limits the battle capabilities. Titan is a machine that is self-run on energy, and thus the core is the most vital part of its body and it makes it a point to protect that very part of it as the core regains energy that allows the machine to function. Being removed will prompt the body to shut itself down in a few minutes. Exhausting the amount of energy already charged into the body can also lead to this fate, prompting the body to shut down for recharge and make team-mates vital. Unlike many adventurers in the world as well, Titan is not organic and despite his ability to heal others he cannot be healed through magical means. Instead a deft-handed mechanic is almost vital for its repair. The machine makes it a point to stay away from water as it can harm it's inner workings, leading to short circuits and the like.

Weapons:

Iron Cleaver: Standard Issue blade for the RTX series of Titan's model. The blade mimics that of a claymore sword only bigger in width and twice as large when compared side by side. The sword is a dull gray color with spotty rusting along with dark patina along the entire weapon. Covered in scratches and with a dull edge, the sword is more suitable for smashing and pummeling rather than a clean slice. From years of no use, the blade is decades old yet still durable enough to demolish any lesser opponent.

Armor:

Iron Plating: Heavy Armor. Built into the frame of the RTX model, it features heavy protection to the core and the extremities inside of the chest, head and limbs. With heavy half inch thick tempered armor plates, they are able to block many conventional weapons. However due to over a few decades of overuse, the armor plates are rusted and weakened. The heavy nature of the armor also slows the body down and the open gaps still pose a threat to those with the accuracy to strike at them.

The Core: Perhaps the most important thing of all would be Titan's core. While it may be destroyed, it can be repaired with a specialized mechanic. The Core of Titan is equal to a human heart, should it be removed, the body will slowly power down but since it is only a machine it won't "kill" the machine.

Visual Visor: A red plate made of a special translucent alloy. This visor is connected to the visual receptors within Titan's head and captures images much like how the human eye works. With an immense database of memory, the machine can recognize just about any natural made object. Should this visor break or be damaged in anyway, the machine will become blind until the repairs are made.

The paladin uses his inner senses to locate and track one character / creature at a time. Targets tracked in this manner must be considered Dark or Unholy based upon the Faith of the Paladin's Chosen Deity. If the Paladin is attacked while tracking this creature, they lose the trail and must be able to physically sense the character again before they can resume tracking. If another creature is tracked, the Paladin loses all trace of their first target. Paladins cannot track a creature that is outside of the same Nation as them.

A wave of light shoots towards the enemy, slicing into them and dealing damage equal to the Paladin's rank. This skill's damage does not increased in damage past the rank of Adept (C). Holy Smite deals an additional rank of damage against Enemies that are considered Dark or Unholy based upon their Faith's Chosen Deity.

The paladin uses the natural aura they are blessed with, and may either shoot it into the sky as a distress signal or use it to light the way. Holy Flare illuminates a 10 ft radius and shoots up to 25 ft a post, and has a two post duration. For all Paladin's EXCEPT The Void's, Holy Flare creates "Holy" light. For The Void's Paladins, the skill is identical in range, radius and duration but is considered "Holy" darkness, which The Void's Faithful are able to distinguish from regular darkness. Holy Flare has a three post cooldown.

Bless Weapon

The paladin empowers either their weapon, or a weapon belonging to one of their Chosen Deity's Faithful, in a holy aura for three posts. All of attacks made with the blessed weapon deal an additional rank of damage to beings considered Dark or Unholy by the Faith's Chosen Deity. Blessing of Battle cannot be stacked on a weapon that is already blessed and have a five post cooldown.

A healing light emanates from the Paladin's hand, healing the next character that they touch. The amount healed is proportional to the Paladins current rank. By reflecting on the mantra of Rykort for two posts, his Faithful are able to stand true to their convictions and resist even the most oppressive forms of mental manipulation. This reflection may be done in combat; in silence or aloud; alone or in the presence of others. Upon completing their reflection of Rykort's teachings and testament, the Faithful character becomes immune to all attempts to persuade, seduce or manipulate them made by any character of any rank, magical or otherwise, for the 3 posts following their reflection. This does not protect Rykort's faithful from mind reading, scrying or other forms of magical spying, only attempts to control them. Using Unbreakable Will costs B rank energy, and has a 15 post Cooldown.

DEVOUT SKILL:
Might of The Mountain
Rykort's Devout have faith so ironclad that it cannot be moved, battered or broken. In exchange for SS Rank Energy, regardless of the character's rank, they become truly indomitable. For the duration of this skill the Devout character receives a +3 Bonus to Strength and the damage of all physical and magical attacks made against them is reduced by one rank. They cannot be knocked down, knocked back or pushed aside by any physical force, and become immune to all fear and hallucinatory effects. Might of The Mountain lasts for 5 posts and has a 25 post Cooldown. If the character is under lethal amounts of physical force or pressure when this skill ends, they are promptly crushed to death regardless of the amount of health they had remaining.

Personality: Based on artificial intelligence, Titan is still a very intelligent machine for one of its kind. Despite the mechanical beatings of the body, there's something about Titan that makes it able to recognize deities, use energy in a super-natural sense and seem sentient to others of organic races. Titan comes off as an uptight robot, very strict with rules and commands to fellow allies yet it has absolutely no sense of humor. Titan will go through dangerous means to protect innocents and slay the wicked. Of all people, Titan protects one person that it deems to be its 'master' in return for waking it out of the slumber from the ruined production facility.

Created as a weapon of war, Model RTX 5564, Code Named Titan is one of many of the new mechaloid soldiers used to fight against others. However there had been a 'defect' in many of the created machines, many of which having developed a personality through the highly advanced technology used in their making. Titan was one of these RTX models, and it had been powered down and scheduled for disposal. All of the RTX machines were programmed to acknowledge and serve the deity Rykort as the true creator of their bodies. A revolt came, leading to the destruction of many of the RTX models and Titan was one of the few whom lost but was not ultimate destroyed during the combat. Six decades and a half later, the machine was reactivated by a rather curious girl (This is another RPC a friend of mine is making). For a few years, the former battle bot has been awaken and serving this girl ever since then.

  • Human Perseverance
    - Due to the human's desire to strive for superiority, their body enters an enhanced state when in combat against non-human opponents, allowing them to react to an opponent's moves with almost inhuman perception. A human gains +2 uncanny dodges against non-human opponents. If the opponent is faster than them, they get an additional +1 dodge. These 3 dodges may be used against the opponent no matter what the speed difference is, but may only be used on non-human opponents.

  • The Strength of Humanity
    - At the cost of one uncanny dodge, a human may increase their strength by 3 for 3 posts. This ability may only be used once per a fight and has a 3 post cooldown that starts after the fight ends.

  • Human Vitality
    - While humans may not be as long lived as the other races, they can take more of a beating. After all other health calculations, humans gain +200 HP.

  • Another Path
    - Humans have the ability to change into one of the many races that populate the world through magical means. You may only change once, and lose all human bonuses, including the HP bonus, stat bonus, and class buff.

    A simple hack, but the Warrior puts more power behind it than an ordinary swing.

At Master Rank, this buff increases to +3/+3. Offensive stance can last up to five posts, and has a six post cooldown. It cannot be used at the same time as Defensive Stance.

  • Devastation
    Rank D
    The warrior slams their fist into the ground, causing a shock-wave that can knock the enemy off their feet. When this skill is used, roll a d20. If 1-5 or 16-20 is rolled, the opponent remains on their feet, but still suffers ranked damage. If 6-15 is rolled, the opponent suffers damage and is knocked down for one post. Devastation has a three post cooldown.

  • Taunt
    Rank D
    The enemy suddenly becomes angered by the Warrior, wanting nothing more than to kill him. They won't attack anyone else, even if someone else is giving them worse damage than the warrior for four posts. If the taunted individual suffers catastrophic damage to their body (specifically, loss of limbs) the effects of Taunt immediately end. Taunt cannot be used more than once on a target during combat, and has a three post cooldown.

  • Iron Grip
    Rank D
    Limitation: Must be used before someone tries to knock you weapon away.
    The Warrior tightens their grip on their weapon, which lasts for five posts. During this time, the Warrior and the sword are inseparable. Due to the strain on the warrior's hands muscles while sustaining such a tight grip on their weapon, they receive a circumstantial -1 penalty to speed in regards to disarm attempts against them in the following round of posts. Iron Grip has a five post cooldown.

Personality: Kenshin is a very quiet, kind, peaceful, and courteous person. He believes that extended a hand of friendship and attempting peaceful negotiations first will usually solve any issue that arises. The boy was raised with manners, always respecting his elders and refusing to lay a hand on a woman. This could be seen as a weakness though; it would cause him to hesitate in battle if he was fighting against a woman. Kenshin dislikes the thought of killing someone, and would attempt to refrain from striking a killing blow unless all other options are wasted. He is a solemn person though, liking to keep to himself and not talk. Despite that fact though he is a true friend to anyone who would call him a friend adding to his uncanny loyalty and desire to protect them with all his might.

Kenshin was born in a remote village in the Nation of Ernya. His father was the village's blacksmith and his mother was the daughter of the leader of the village. Kenshin's father, Musashi, took his mother and impregnated her without being married, something that was forbidden in the village. The Village Leader permitted the two to stay in the village until Kenshin was three years of age, and then exiled all three of them. Kenshin's parents had no money, but decided to head to the capital in search of a life for their son. When they got there, Musashi got some work as a blacksmith on a mining expedition that was headed to Jiaum.

The family stayed with the mining expedition for five years. The pay was shitty, but they gave them a place to live away from the rest of the workers. As Kenshin got older, he followed in his father's footsteps as a Blacksmith. On his sixth birthday he was better than his father's apprentice of two years. The miners said he was a protege, and that smithing was in his blood.

Two months Kenshin's tenth birthday his mother died of a heart attack in her sleep. His father was devastated at the loss. Shortly afterwards Musashi and Kenshin left the miners and went to travel back to Ernya. It took them two months to get out of Jiaum, and another two just to find the village. When Musashi walked back into the village he was attacked on sight, then bound and brought before the Village Leader. Before he could explain why he returned, he was beheaded right in front of Kenshin. The lad got the first spark of hatred in his heart at that moment. Kenshin was spared only because he was the grandson of the previous village leader, and he was just a child.

The lad left that village at the age of fifteen and traveled the world. He put his smithing life behind him, and moved forward as a warrior. That life was hard, harder than most would think, but it was rewarding. After two years Kenshin returned to the mining site, just to find it abandoned. Apparently the miners had awakened a demon in the night, Kenshin, not wanting to leave the place he had spent most of his life at, ignored the claims and stayed there.

For the next year Kenshin built a house with his own two hands. It was positioned fifty meters from the entrance to the old abandoned mine. Kenshin mined the ores and chopped down the trees that he required to do so. His main, and only, desire in life from then on was to smith. He frequented the mines very often aquiring the coal to power his forge, and he was in the mine two years ago when the Capital of Jiaum was destroyed. He felt the tremors of the events, and thought his life was doing to end by getting crushed with rocks from an earthquake. Despite being alone Kenshin has kept up his appearance and cleanliness. He still lives in the house he built, and he has yet to find this demon that the miners apparently found.

  • Human Perseverance
    - Due to the human's desire to strive for superiority, their body enters an enhanced state when in combat against non-human opponents, allowing them to react to an opponent's moves with almost inhuman perception. A human gains +2 uncanny dodges against non-human opponents. If the opponent is faster than them, they get an additional +1 dodge. These 3 dodges may be used against the opponent no matter what the speed difference is, but may only be used on non-human opponents.

    - At the cost of one uncanny dodge, a human may increase their strength by 3 for 3 posts. This ability may only be used once per a fight and has a 3 post cooldown that starts after the fight ends.

    The warrior slams their fist into the ground, causing a shock-wave that can knock the enemy off their feet. When this skill is used, roll a d20. If 1-5 or 16-20 is rolled, the opponent remains on their feet, but still suffers ranked damage. If 6-15 is rolled, the opponent suffers damage and is knocked down for one post. Devastation has a three post cooldown.

  • Taunt
    Rank D
    The enemy suddenly becomes angered by the Warrior, wanting nothing more than to kill him. They won't attack anyone else, even if someone else is giving them worse damage than the warrior for four posts. If the taunted individual suffers catastrophic damage to their body (specifically, loss of limbs) the effects of Taunt immediately end. Taunt cannot be used more than once on a target during combat, and has a three post cooldown.

  • Iron Grip

    Limitation: Must be used before someone tries to knock you weapon away.
    The Warrior tightens their grip on their weapon, which lasts for five posts. During this time, the Warrior and the sword are inseparable. Due to the strain on the warrior's hands muscles while sustaining such a tight grip on their weapon, they receive a circumstantial -1 penalty to speed in regards to disarm attempts against them in the following round of posts. Iron Grip has a five post cooldown.

Kenshin was born in a remote village in the Nation of Ernya. His father was the village's blacksmith and his mother was the daughter of the leader of the village. Kenshin's father, Musashi, took his mother and impregnated her without being married, something that was forbidden in the village. The Village Leader permitted the two to stay in the village until Kenshin was three years of age, and then exiled all three of them. Kenshin's parents had no money, but decided to head to the capital in search of a life for their son. When they got there, Musashi got some work as a blacksmith on a mining expedition that was headed to Jiaum.

The family stayed with the mining expedition for five years. The pay was shitty, but they gave them a place to live away from the rest of the workers. As Kenshin got older, he followed in his father's footsteps as a Blacksmith. On his sixth birthday he was better than his father's apprentice of two years. The miners said he was a protege, and that smithing was in his blood.

Two months Kenshin's tenth birthday his mother died of a heart attack in her sleep. His father was devastated at the loss. Shortly afterwards Musashi and Kenshin left the miners and went to travel back to Ernya. It took them two months to get out of Jiaum, and another two just to find the village. When Musashi walked back into the village he was attacked on sight, then bound and brought before the Village Leader. Before he could explain why he returned, he was beheaded right in front of Kenshin. The lad got the first spark of hatred in his heart at that moment. Kenshin was spared only because he was the grandson of the previous village leader, and he was just a child.

The lad left that village at the age of fifteen and traveled the world. He put his smithing life behind him, and moved forward as a warrior. That life was hard, harder than most would think, but it was rewarding. After two years Kenshin returned to the mining site, just to find it abandoned. Apparently the miners had awakened a demon in the night, Kenshin, not wanting to leave the place he had spent most of his life at, ignored the claims and stayed there.

For the next year Kenshin built a house with his own two hands. It was positioned fifty meters from the entrance to the old abandoned mine. Kenshin mined the ores and chopped down the trees that he required to do so. His main, and only, desire in life from then on was to smith. He frequented the mines very often aquiring the coal to power his forge, and he was in the mine two years ago when the Capital of Jiaum was destroyed. He felt the tremors of the events, and thought his life was doing to end by getting crushed with rocks from an earthquake. Despite being alone Kenshin has kept up his appearance and cleanliness. He still lives in the house he built, and he has yet to find this demon that the miners apparently found.

Speed is essential for a hunter of the night. Stealth and elegance was only second nature, but not needed. Simplicity as a favored form of approach, Nokomis cuts corners and often makes her approaches quick and simple. The faster a prey is taken down, the least amount of a mess will be left to clean up afterwards. Thanks to the inhuman speed granted by her unholy herritage, Nokomis can outmatch many who may try and contend with her abilities and the ability to twist and turn in flexible ways as a sort of dodge for many unorthodox attacks.

While speed holds importance in Nokomis, her body disagrees with that as her heritage naturally grants beyond human potential. With enhanced strength and her superb agility, her strength is only the icing on the cake as being able to compete with pure blooded warriors. One of the Night: Wrapped in shadow ever since her turning, Nokomis has been in the shadows and darkness for much of her 'life' ever since her death at the hands of the Byron. Overtaken by grief, she had embraced the unholy power and had become a rather rare specimen. Serving the void, she is an adept sword user and uses her dark powers to her utmost advantage.

Bitter Sweet Gift: One of the perks to being dead and one of the night was that it rid of the many requirements a human would need when alive. Any permanent damage dealt to her body can easily be regenerated, but her physical strength will still take the toll (meaning HP isn't regained). Her unholy abilities are even boosted by her body, being able to speed and overpower many a foe and allow her to feed on the living.

Battle Weakness:
Of Shadow and of Blood: By embracing shadow, Nokomis is exceptionally weak against light and holy based attacks. Should she take any sort of damage from an attack with an affinity to light, she'll take substantial damage even as far as being blinded. Her weakness extends to her regenerative factor as well, should she get hurt constantly, her regeneration will sap away steadily to her energy. While having a super weakness to holy light, she cannot stand the Sun or water whatsoever as it severely weakens her along with silver, even going as far as freezing her regeneration should it stay in contact. Going without feeding can also ultimately lead to her death.

Weapons:
Saber: A weapon derived from her teachings of fencing and self-taught fighting style. Of all the weapons she has to use, a saber would be her weapon of choice. Fashioned from steel and fitted for her use, Nokomis is quick and agile with her weapon as would any Dark Avenger be with their weapon.

Short sword: A simple straight blade compared to the Saber while still shorter than it and longer than her dagger. This blade is lighter in weight and is often used for her off-hand or for dueling.

Dagger: Strapped to her boot is the lifeline should both the saber and short sword fail. As a Main Guache, this weapon also aids the Saber in close range through a similar fighting style. It is shorter than the short sword and can easily be concealed in her boot.

Armor:
Leather: Nokomis isn't much for heavy armor, preferring mobility over becoming a wall of steel like many warriors. Her armor doesn't cover much, given that she wears leather bracers and boots along with a single thick tunic to cushion normal blows. While effective for maybe a would be dagger in the back, it won't stop an all out swing of a hammer or jab of a sword. Her bracers however have the capability to block a well crafted blade, stemming from her practice of a saber from her younger days.

Personal Belongings:
Amulet: Nokomis' amulet is the last remaining keepsake of her brother, a steel pendant with a ruby encrusted in it's center. Inscribed on the backside of the amulet are the words "To my older cousin. Love, Oliver" suggesting that it had been a gift to her before his death, leading to her immense hatred of the Byron family that would later lead to her fate as well. It holds a great significance to her connection of her personal feelings.

[A unique skill that utilizes the vampire's ability to use their demonic energy, creating a black bat's wing along their forearm that extends about 5in past the user's hand. The amount of energy put into the blade will determine its sharpness. Being made of energy, it can also fend off energy assaults of lesser power to it, as greater would destroy the blade as well as material too hard for the blade to cut. The user can only put energy equal to their level. Meaning if your Trainee, your restricted to D rank. Adept, you can use D and C but not B. This can be done on either arm of choice. At Adept, you can use this on both arms. The blade remains until the end of battle, or destroyed or cast away. When one of these three conditions are met, the blade(s) falls apart to small bat like energy which fly around and vanish.]

This is twice as effective on holy or ear sensitive beings. Has no effect on machines.]

At the rank of Master, Soul Sense extends to a Dark Avenger's sense of smell and spans the breadth of a nation. This ability cannot be used to determine the health of a character, as the soul remains intact until it fades away completely.

By focusing on a creature that he/she can sense in the area for 2 posts, a Dark Avenger can mark their soul, enabling the Dark Avenger to track them with ease. Once a soul is marked, a Dark Avenger can see it through walls and sense its location over great distances. By the rank of Master, a Dark Avenger needs only focus on their Mark for one post to see it anywhere on Rykros. This skill requires no energy. Only one Soul Mark is permitted at any given time, and Marking another soul while a Mark is currently active replaces the old mark with the new.

Precision Strike

Using their agility and dexterity, a Dark Avenger makes a single surgical attack against their target. If the target is currently the Dark Avenger's Marked Soul, it does damage as if it were one rank higher. This ability is usable once per post.

Like all skilled hunters, a Dark Avenger learns to track their prey based on sight, scent, smell, touch, and taste. A Dark Avenger must take one post to focus on their targets trail before they can effectively track them, and cannot do so while running until they've reached the rank of Master. If a Dark Avenger is attacked while they are tracking a target, the trial is lost and they must take another post to get back on their quarry's trail. Tracking a Marked Soul is easy for a Dark Avenger, and requires no post to pick up their trail (if they have traveled nearby).If a Dark Avenger is attacked while tracking, they must spend two posts after the encounter to get back on the trail.

Move Silently

A Dark Avenger is a skilled fighter, but most effective when he utilizes the element of surprise. By moving carefully and distributing their weight from the heel to the ball of their feet, a Dark Avenger can move without making any noise. While Moving Silently, a Dark Avenger cannot run, jump or perform any similar acrobatic feats, and when they make an attack the skill's benefits end. If a Dark Avenger has been detected, Move Silently has no effect.

Feral Leap

A Dark Avenger is most lethal their instincts thrust them at their enemies. When behind his enemy, a Dark Avenger can make a running leap to strike with their weapon and knock their pray off their feet. If the Dark Avenger's strike hits, their foe is knocked prone. A prone foe requires one post to stand upright through non-magical means. This skill has a three post cooldown.

Feint
Rank D
A Dark Avenger begins a seemingly direct attack towards their target, but feints at the last moment leaving their target vulnerable and open to attack. A feint begins as a normal attack. If the target of the feint attempts to block, counter or otherwise interact with the Dark Avenger's attack, the Dark Avenger's following post initiates the feint and strike. Targets that are effectively deceived by a feint attack receive a circumstantial -3 penalty to their Speed for all attempts to Dodge or Block any incoming attacks during their next post. This skill has a three post cooldown.

Glimpse into Darkness

While a Dark Avenger cannot manipulate darkness until he is an Adept, the divorce of his soul from Light makes his true home the Shadow World. A Dark Avenger can see into the Material plane's dark parallel through any shadow at any time. While he gazes upon the Dark Plane, he cannot attack nor can he be attacked as his body becomes intangible. While using Glimpse into Darkness, a Dark Avenger can see any creatures hiding in shadows through normal or magical means. He can also see creatures that exist on The Dark Plane and their position in regards to the Material Plane. Glimpse into Darkness can be sustained for up to 3 posts, and has no cool down. Using this skill out of cowardice (to avoid battle, escape a target etc.) is seen as treachery by the Shadow Plane, and results in the Dark Avenger being temporarily blinded for 10 posts. Glimpse into Darkness has a two post cooldown.

A Dark Avenger gains the ability to darken the shadows on their face and body, masking their identity and making them an unidentifiable face among the crowd. This skill is exceptionally useful when wearing a cloak, and for gathering information or spying on a Marked Soul, and it may be used for an indefinite number of rounds so long as the Dark avenger has enough energy to sustain the illusion. If the Dark Avenger speaks their voice may be recognized, and if they come within arm's reach of another character it becomes obvious that the Dark avenger is masking their features through unnatural means. Magical sight that identifies an individual based on their aura or energy are unaffected by this skill.

Shadow Step

The first true power a Dark Avenger attains from its pact with the Dark Plane is also one of their most versatile. Having shunned Light from their lives, a Dark Avenger may pass freely between the Material Plane and the Shadow World by simply stepping into a shadow or dark area. While using Shadow Step, a Dark Avenger travels great distances, and has the ability to take others, willing or otherwise, along for the ride by maintaining physical contact with them. Past a single passenger, every additional traveler costs an additional 50 energy, as does taking a creature against their will. Beings of higher rank than the Dark Avenger cannot be taken against their will via Shadow Step. Shadow step may only be used once per post, and it has a 2 post CD while in combat.

Frightful Decree

A Dark Avenger is a being of often dark and terrible convictions, and when their Mark Soul can see them a Dark Avenger can cast judgement upon the Soul, and offer them as a sacrifice to the Dark Plane as punishment. They speak in the baleful Black Speech of the Dark Plane, and unless the Marked Soul succeeds on a d20 roll (12 or higher if below Dark Avenger's Rank, 10 or higher if equal to or greater rank) fear begins to grow inside of them. Every time a Dark Avenger succeeds in a post, the Marked Soul gains a Fear counter. Upon reaching 4 Fear counters (or 3 Fear Counters if the target is lower rank than the Dark Avenger), the Marked Soul is terrified of the Dark Avenger and cannot attack them. Blessings and other inspirational abilities remove fear counters one at a time. If a Marked Soul succeeds on their d20 roll, the Dark Avenger cannot make another Frightful Decree against them for 2 posts. If the target makes two successful dice rolls in a row against the Avenger's Decree, it is effectively ended and requires a ten post cooldown before it's next use.

When alive, or when she been human, Nokomis Ruthven was known by the name of Isabella Byron of a noble family living in the nation of Ernya. Born into nobility and such, Isabella was the daughter of the family's head lord. To the Byron family, Isabella wasn't born a male and thus could not inherit the family title and become the next head. She was an only child, shunned and ashamed by her own father and her mother only occupied by greed. The rich were too uptight, were too embroiled in their own rules for her tastes. She despised much of her family, disliked fancy dresses and hardly bore the insult given by her own father.

By coming of age, Isabella disowned her family name and moved on with her own life. One of the few family members she liked, Oliver, had become something of a friend to her. Her cousins and distant family that wasn't like her immediate family were not rich or like her parents. They been more caring and had been like an actual family as she went to live with them. Over her teenage years, Isabella was taught horseback riding, fencing and literature along with other classes on history, mathematics, etc.

For a few years, Isabella led a life of travel and mercenary work. Her skill grew and she was able to out duel even the most capable warrior with skill and speed compared to brute force. Word came to her when she turned twenty eight announcing the unthinkable. The family feud of her cousin's family and her own had grown to something fierce, requesting her to come home to help quell it. When she had, the fued had grown to violence, leading to the death of Oliver and destruction of her family. She fought back, only for her to be slain in the midst of combat by her own kin.

Near death, a voice came that night since the death of her loved ones and the encounter of her own father. Her unwavering rage flourished as she gratefully accepted the unknown whisper, taking it and making it apart of her being. Her frail human body was no longer living flesh as she became one of the night then, adapting her body to something far greater than humans. The voice spoke more, saying it was a subtle gift of the Void.

In order to complete the binding, a single condition was named. Exterminate those who killed those she loved. Laying in a puddle of her own blood, she gratefully accept as a hunger came over her. In three nights, she went back to her nostalgic home, armed only with her dagger and sword. Breaking down into the estate, it was a mix of blind fury and vengeance, granting no quarter to man, woman or child. Her unnerving hunger prompted their life, sucking the blood out of each victim, aunts, uncles, mother, sisters, all consumed and absorbed into her very being. And lastly, her father whom had disowned her for many years was the last to be killed and sucked away.

The Binding had been complete since that fateful night. Isabella had been given a superior and rare power, control over shadow and a connection to the shadow world. By abandoning her human name, she took up a gypsy name; Nokomis Ruthven, in respect to her new self. An intimate connection to the Void and all that represents it, and for over two centuries, she served the void in secrecy. In the present day, she had only recently gotten through the Plague War. One of the Night: Wrapped in shadow ever since her turning, Nokomis has been in the shadows and darkness for much of her 'life' ever since her death at the hands of the Byron. Overtaken by grief, she had embraced the unholy power and had become a rather rare specimen. Serving the void, she is an adept sword user and uses her dark powers to her utmost advantage.

Bitter Sweet Gift: One of the perks to being dead and one of the night was that it rid of the many requirements a human would need when alive. Any permanent damage dealt to her body can easily be regenerated, but her physical strength will still take the toll (meaning HP isn't regained). Her unholy abilities are even boosted by her body, being able to speed and overpower many a foe and allow her to feed on the living.

Battle Weakness:
Of Shadow and of Blood: By embracing shadow, Nokomis is exceptionally weak against light and holy based attacks. Should she take any sort of damage from an attack with an affinity to light, she'll take substantial damage even as far as being blinded. Her weakness extends to her regenerative factor as well, should she get hurt constantly, her regeneration will sap away steadily to her energy. While having a super weakness to holy light, she cannot stand the Sun or water whatsoever as it severely weakens her along with silver, even going as far as freezing her regeneration should it stay in contact. Weapons:
Saber: A weapon derived from her teachings of fencing and self-taught fighting style. Of all the weapons she has to use, a saber would be her weapon of choice. Fashioned from steel and fitted for her use, Nokomis is quick and agile with her weapon as would any Dark Avenger be with their weapon.

Short sword: A simple straight blade compared to the Saber while still shorter than it and longer than her dagger. This blade is lighter in weight and is often used for her off-hand or for dueling.

Dagger: Strapped to her boot is the lifeline should both the saber and short sword fail. As a Main Guache, this weapon also aids the Saber in close range through a similar fighting style. It is shorter than the short sword and can easily be concealed in her boot.

Armor:
Leather: Nokomis isn't much for heavy armor, preferring mobility over becoming a wall of steel like many warriors. Her armor doesn't cover much, given that she wears leather bracers and boots along with a single thick tunic to cushion normal blows. While effective for maybe a would be dagger in the back, it won't stop an all out swing of a hammer or jab of a sword. Her bracers however have the capability to block a well crafted blade, stemming from her practice of a saber from her younger days.

Personal Belongings:
Amulet: Nokomis' amulet is the last remaining keepsake of her brother, a steel pendant with a ruby encrusted in it's center. Inscribed on the backside of the amulet are the words "To my older cousin. Love, Oliver" suggesting that it had been a gift to her before his death, leading to her immense hatred of the Byron family that would later lead to her fate as well. It holds a great significance to her connection of her personal feelings.

The energy increases the strength of the vampire +1, and capable of shattering a concrete wall. Effects last for two posts or until the limb strikes an object. At Journeyman, the effect is stronger and longer lasting, being able to hold it for four posts and cover two limbs, increasing strength by an additional +1 at the cost of B rank energy]

[A unique skill that utilizes the vampire's ability to use their demonic energy, creating a black bat's wing along their forearm that extends about 5in past the user's hand. The amount of energy put into the blade will determine its sharpness. Being made of energy, it can also fend off energy assaults of lesser power to it, as greater would destroy the blade as well as material too hard for the blade to cut. The user can only put energy equal to their level. Meaning if your Trainee, your restricted to D rank. Adept, you can use D and C but not B. This can be done on either arm of choice. At Adept, you can use this on both arms. The blade remains until the end of battle, or destroyed or cast away. When one of these three conditions are met, the blade(s) falls apart to small bat like energy which fly around and vanish.]

Once a soul is marked, a Dark Avenger can see it through walls and sense its location over great distances. By the rank of Master, a Dark Avenger needs only focus on their Mark for one post to see it anywhere on Rykros. This skill requires no energy. Only one Soul Mark is permitted at any given time, and Marking another soul while a Mark is currently active replaces the old mark with the new.

Using their agility and dexterity, a Dark Avenger makes a single surgical attack against their target. If the target is currently the Dark Avenger's Marked Soul, it does damage as if it were one rank higher. This ability is usable once per post.

Like all skilled hunters, a Dark Avenger learns to track their prey based on sight, scent, smell, touch, and taste. A Dark Avenger must take one post to focus on their targets trail before they can effectively track them, and cannot do so while running until they've reached the rank of Master. If a Dark Avenger is attacked while they are tracking a target, the trial is lost and they must take another post to get back on their quarry's trail. Tracking a Marked Soul is easy for a Dark Avenger, and requires no post to pick up their trail (if they have traveled nearby).If a Dark Avenger is attacked while tracking, they must spend two posts after the encounter to get back on the trail.

A Dark Avenger is a skilled fighter, but most effective when he utilizes the element of surprise. By moving carefully and distributing their weight from the heel to the ball of their feet, a Dark Avenger can move without making any noise. While Moving Silently, a Dark Avenger cannot run, jump or perform any similar acrobatic feats, and when they make an attack the skill's benefits end. If a Dark Avenger has been detected, Move Silently has no effect.

A Dark Avenger is most lethal their instincts thrust them at their enemies. When behind his enemy, a Dark Avenger can make a running leap to strike with their weapon and knock their pray off their feet. If the Dark Avenger's strike hits, their foe is knocked prone. A prone foe requires one post to stand upright through non-magical means. This skill has a three post cooldown.

A Dark Avenger begins a seemingly direct attack towards their target, but feints at the last moment leaving their target vulnerable and open to attack. A feint begins as a normal attack. If the target of the feint attempts to block, counter or otherwise interact with the Dark Avenger's attack, the Dark Avenger's following post initiates the feint and strike. Targets that are effectively deceived by a feint attack receive a circumstantial -3 penalty to their Speed for all attempts to Dodge or Block any incoming attacks during their next post. This skill has a three post cooldown.

Glimpse into Darkness

While a Dark Avenger cannot manipulate darkness until he is an Adept, the divorce of his soul from Light makes his true home the Shadow World. A Dark Avenger can see into the Material plane's dark parallel through any shadow at any time. While he gazes upon the Dark Plane, he cannot attack nor can he be attacked as his body becomes intangible. While using Glimpse into Darkness, a Dark Avenger can see any creatures hiding in shadows through normal or magical means. He can also see creatures that exist on The Dark Plane and their position in regards to the Material Plane. Glimpse into Darkness can be sustained for up to 3 posts, and has no cool down. Using this skill out of cowardice (to avoid battle, escape a target etc.) is seen as treachery by the Shadow Plane, and results in the Dark Avenger being temporarily blinded for 10 posts. Glimpse into Darkness has a two post cooldown.

A Dark Avenger gains the ability to darken the shadows on their face and body, masking their identity and making them an unidentifiable face among the crowd. This skill is exceptionally useful when wearing a cloak, and for gathering information or spying on a Marked Soul, and it may be used for an indefinite number of rounds so long as the Dark avenger has enough energy to sustain the illusion. If the Dark Avenger speaks their voice may be recognized, and if they come within arm's reach of another character it becomes obvious that the Dark avenger is masking their features through unnatural means. Magical sight that identifies an individual based on their aura or energy are unaffected by this skill.

The first true power a Dark Avenger attains from its pact with the Dark Plane is also one of their most versatile. Having shunned Light from their lives, a Dark Avenger may pass freely between the Material Plane and the Shadow World by simply stepping into a shadow or dark area. While using Shadow Step, a Dark Avenger travels great distances, and has the ability to take others, willing or otherwise, along for the ride by maintaining physical contact with them. Past a single passenger, every additional traveler costs an additional 50 energy, as does taking a creature against their will. Beings of higher rank than the Dark Avenger cannot be taken against their will via Shadow Step. Shadow step may only be used once per post, and it has a 2 post CD while in combat.

A Dark Avenger is a being of often dark and terrible convictions, and when their Mark Soul can see them a Dark Avenger can cast judgement upon the Soul, and offer them as a sacrifice to the Dark Plane as punishment. They speak in the baleful Black Speech of the Dark Plane, and unless the Marked Soul succeeds on a d20 roll (12 or higher if below Dark Avenger's Rank, 10 or higher if equal to or greater rank) fear begins to grow inside of them. Every time a Dark Avenger succeeds in a post, the Marked Soul gains a Fear counter. Upon reaching 4 Fear counters (or 3 Fear Counters if the target is lower rank than the Dark Avenger), the Marked Soul is terrified of the Dark Avenger and cannot attack them. Blessings and other inspirational abilities remove fear counters one at a time. If a Marked Soul succeeds on their d20 roll, the Dark Avenger cannot make another Frightful Decree against them for 2 posts. If the target makes two successful dice rolls in a row against the Avenger's Decree, it is effectively ended and requires a ten post cooldown before it's next use.

Thanks to the inhuman speed granted by her unholy herritage, Nokomis can outmatch many who may try and contend with her abilities and the ability to twist and turn in flexible ways as a sort of dodge for many unorthodox attacks.

While speed holds importance in Nokomis, her body disagrees with that as her heritage naturally grants beyond human potential. With enhanced strength and her superb agility, her strength is only the icing on the cake as being able to compete with pure blooded warriors. Through precision cuts and counters, each of her sword attacks would be like a sledge hammer to a lesser foe.

Energy Color: As a whole, Nokomis' energy is black when dormant or being sensed, giving the illusion of shadow and a void of nothing. When in used or fluctuating through use, Nokomis' energy varies between dark reds, purples and darker shades of other colors. When using Dark Avenger or Void related spell's her energy is always black. Skills of her Vampiric nature typically take on a black and red combination.

One of the Night: Wrapped in shadow ever since her turning, Nokomis has been in the shadows and darkness for much of her 'life' ever since her death at the hands of the Byron. Overtaken by grief, she had embraced the unholy power and had become a rather rare specimen. Serving the void, she is an adept sword user and uses her dark powers to her utmost advantage.

Bitter Sweet Gift: One of the perks to being dead and one of the night was that it rid of the many requirements a human would need when alive. Any permanent damage dealt to her body can easily be regenerated, but her physical strength will still take the toll (meaning HP isn't regained). Her unholy abilities are even boosted by her body, being able to speed and overpower many a foe and allow her to feed on the living.

Battle Weakness:
Of Shadow and of Blood: By embracing shadow, Nokomis is exceptionally weak against light and holy based attacks. Should she take any sort of damage from an attack with an affinity to light, she'll take substantial damage even as far as being blinded. Her weakness extends to her regenerative factor as well, should she get hurt constantly, her regeneration will sap away steadily to her energy. While having a super weakness to holy light, she cannot stand the Sun or water whatsoever as it severely weakens her along with silver, even going as far as freezing her regeneration should it stay in contact. Going without feeding can also ultimately lead to her death.

Weapons:
Saber: A weapon derived from her teachings of fencing and self-taught fighting style. Of all the weapons she has to use, a saber would be her weapon of choice. Fashioned from steel and fitted for her use, Nokomis is quick and agile with her weapon as would any Dark Avenger be with their weapon.

Short sword: A simple straight blade compared to the Saber while still shorter than it and longer than her dagger. This blade is lighter in weight and is often used for her off-hand or for dueling.

Dagger: Strapped to her boot is the lifeline should both the saber and short sword fail. As a Main Guache, this weapon also aids the Saber in close range through a similar fighting style. It is shorter than the short sword and can easily be concealed in her boot.

Armor:
Leather: Nokomis isn't much for heavy armor, preferring mobility over becoming a wall of steel like many warriors. Her armor doesn't cover much, given that she wears leather bracers and boots along with a single thick tunic to cushion normal blows. While effective for maybe a would be dagger in the back, it won't stop an all out swing of a hammer or jab of a sword. Her bracers however have the capability to block a well crafted blade, stemming from her practice of a saber from her younger days.

Personal Belongings:
Amulet: Nokomis' amulet is the last remaining keepsake of her brother, a steel pendant with a ruby encrusted in it's center. Inscribed on the backside of the amulet are the words "To my older cousin. Love, Oliver" suggesting that it had been a gift to her before his death, leading to her immense hatred of the Byron family that would later lead to her fate as well. It holds a great significance to her connection of her personal feelings.

[A unique skill that utilizes the vampire's ability to use their demonic energy, creating a black bat's wing along their forearm that extends about 5in past the user's hand. The amount of energy put into the blade will determine its sharpness. Being made of energy, it can also fend off energy assaults of lesser power to it, as greater would destroy the blade as well as material too hard for the blade to cut. The user can only put energy equal to their level. Meaning if your Trainee, your restricted to D rank. Adept, you can use D and C but not B. This can be done on either arm of choice. At Adept, you can use this on both arms. The blade remains until the end of battle, or destroyed or cast away. When one of these three conditions are met, the blade(s) falls apart to small bat like energy which fly around and vanish.]

Releasing the energy from their body, the user releasing dark sound waves in the direction they are facing outwards to about 10ft. Those who caught in the radius will become disoriented and confused, unable to focus on anything around them making it all one blur for two posts. This is twice as effective on holy or ear sensitive beings. Has no effect on machines.]

[The user manifests their energy and creates vampiric bats made of energy. These bats do exactly as the name indicates. They don't have much of physical strength and can be swatted away, although once they bite onto their target it becomes a pain and they are fast (2,6). For every post these leeches are on, they sap E rank energy. Depending on the rank will vary how many bats can be created. At Journeyman rank, they can drain C rank energy and are C rank. They can be destroyed with an attack equal or higher ranking then themselves, or once five posts has expired.]

At the rank of Master, Soul Sense extends to a Dark Avenger's sense of smell and spans the breadth of a nation. This ability cannot be used to determine the health of a character, as the soul remains intact until it fades away completely.

By focusing on a creature that he/she can sense in the area for 2 posts, a Dark Avenger can mark their soul, enabling the Dark Avenger to track them with ease. Like all skilled hunters, a Dark Avenger learns to track their prey based on sight, scent, smell, touch, and taste. A Dark Avenger must take one post to focus on their targets trail before they can effectively track them, and cannot do so while running until they've reached the rank of Master. If a Dark Avenger is attacked while they are tracking a target, the trial is lost and they must take another post to get back on their quarry's trail. Tracking a Marked Soul is easy for a Dark Avenger, and requires no post to pick up their trail (if they have traveled nearby).If a Dark Avenger is attacked while tracking, they must spend two posts after the encounter to get back on the trail.

Move Silently

A Dark Avenger is a skilled fighter, but most effective when he utilizes the element of surprise. By moving carefully and distributing their weight from the heel to the ball of their feet, a Dark Avenger can move without making any noise. While Moving Silently, a Dark Avenger cannot run, jump or perform any similar acrobatic feats, and when they make an attack the skill's benefits end. If a Dark Avenger has been detected, Move Silently has no effect.

Feral Leap
Rank D
A Dark Avenger is most lethal their instincts thrust them at their enemies. When behind his enemy, a Dark Avenger can make a running leap to strike with their weapon and knock their pray off their feet. If the Dark Avenger's strike hits, their foe is knocked prone. A prone foe requires one post to stand upright through non-magical means. This skill has a three post cooldown.

Feint
Rank D
A Dark Avenger begins a seemingly direct attack towards their target, but feints at the last moment leaving their target vulnerable and open to attack. A feint begins as a normal attack. If the target of the feint attempts to block, counter or otherwise interact with the Dark Avenger's attack, the Dark Avenger's following post initiates the feint and strike. Targets that are effectively deceived by a feint attack receive a circumstantial -3 penalty to their Speed for all attempts to Dodge or Block any incoming attacks during their next post. This skill has a three post cooldown.

Glimpse into Darkness

While a Dark Avenger cannot manipulate darkness until he is an Adept, the divorce of his soul from Light makes his true home the Shadow World. A Dark Avenger can see into the Material plane's dark parallel through any shadow at any time. While he gazes upon the Dark Plane, he cannot attack nor can he be attacked as his body becomes intangible. While using Glimpse into Darkness, a Dark Avenger can see any creatures hiding in shadows through normal or magical means. He can also see creatures that exist on The Dark Plane and their position in regards to the Material Plane. Glimpse into Darkness can be sustained for up to 3 posts, and has no cool down. Using this skill out of cowardice (to avoid battle, escape a target etc.) is seen as treachery by the Shadow Plane, and results in the Dark Avenger being temporarily blinded for 10 posts. Glimpse into Darkness has a two post cooldown.

A Dark Avenger gains the ability to darken the shadows on their face and body, masking their identity and making them an unidentifiable face among the crowd. This skill is exceptionally useful when wearing a cloak, and for gathering information or spying on a Marked Soul, and it may be used for an indefinite number of rounds so long as the Dark avenger has enough energy to sustain the illusion. If the Dark Avenger speaks their voice may be recognized, and if they come within arm's reach of another character it becomes obvious that the Dark avenger is masking their features through unnatural means. Magical sight that identifies an individual based on their aura or energy are unaffected by this skill.

Shadow Step

The first true power a Dark Avenger attains from its pact with the Dark Plane is also one of their most versatile. Having shunned Light from their lives, a Dark Avenger may pass freely between the Material Plane and the Shadow World by simply stepping into a shadow or dark area. While using Shadow Step, a Dark Avenger travels great distances, and has the ability to take others, willing or otherwise, along for the ride by maintaining physical contact with them. Past a single passenger, every additional traveler costs an additional 50 energy, as does taking a creature against their will. Beings of higher rank than the Dark Avenger cannot be taken against their will via Shadow Step. Shadow step may only be used once per post, and it has a 2 post CD while in combat.

Frightful Decree

A Dark Avenger is a being of often dark and terrible convictions, and when their Mark Soul can see them a Dark Avenger can cast judgement upon the Soul, and offer them as a sacrifice to the Dark Plane as punishment. They speak in the baleful Black Speech of the Dark Plane, and unless the Marked Soul succeeds on a d20 roll (12 or higher if below Dark Avenger's Rank, 10 or higher if equal to or greater rank) fear begins to grow inside of them. Every time a Dark Avenger succeeds in a post, the Marked Soul gains a Fear counter. Upon reaching 4 Fear counters (or 3 Fear Counters if the target is lower rank than the Dark Avenger), the Marked Soul is terrified of the Dark Avenger and cannot attack them. Blessings and other inspirational abilities remove fear counters one at a time. If a Marked Soul succeeds on their d20 roll, the Dark Avenger cannot make another Frightful Decree against them for 2 posts. If the target makes two successful dice rolls in a row against the Avenger's Decree, it is effectively ended and requires a ten post cooldown before it's next use.

Birthed from the darkness, Nokomis Ruthven is only but one of many creatures that dot the world of Rykros. Since her 'birth' over two centuries ago, Nokomis had been one of the Void when her human self had been taken by the darkness. For many a year, she wanders the lands and feeds upon the living; both animal and human alike. Worship to the Void, it's empty and calling and alluring nature of the infinite depths of darkness that embraces her unholy breed. Her history is mysterious, but it is still known. When alive, or when she been human, Nokomis Ruthven was known by the name of Isabella Byron of a noble family living in the nation of Ernya. Born into nobility and such, Isabella was the daughter of the family's head lord. To the Byron family, Isabella wasn't born a male and thus could not inherit the family title and become the next head. She was an only child, shunned and ashamed by her own father and her mother only occupied by greed. The rich were too uptight, were too embroiled in their own rules for her tastes. She despised much of her family, disliked fancy dresses and hardly bore the insult given by her own father.

By coming of age, Isabella disowned her family name and moved on with her own life. One of the few family members she liked, Oliver, had become something of a friend to her. Her cousins and distant family that wasn't like her immediate family were not rich or like her parents. They been more caring and had been like an actual family as she went to live with them. Over her teenage years, Isabella was taught horseback riding, fencing and literature along with other classes on history, mathematics, etc.

For a few years, Isabella led a life of travel and mercenary work. Her skill grew and she was able to out duel even the most capable warrior with skill and speed compared to brute force. Word came to her when she turned twenty eight announcing the unthinkable. The family feud of her cousin's family and her own had grown to something fierce, requesting her to come home to help quell it. When she had, the fued had grown to violence, leading to the death of Oliver and destruction of her family. She fought back, only for her to be slain in the midst of combat by her own kin.

Near death, a voice came that night since the death of her loved ones and the encounter of her own father. Her unwavering rage flourished as she gratefully accepted the unknown whisper, taking it and making it apart of her being. Her frail human body was no longer living flesh as she became one of the night then, adapting her body to something far greater than humans. The voice spoke more, saying it was a subtle gift of the Void.

In order to complete the binding, a single condition was named. Exterminate those who killed those she loved. Laying in a puddle of her own blood, she gratefully accept as a hunger came over her. In three nights, she went back to her nostalgic home, armed only with her dagger and sword. Breaking down into the estate, it was a mix of blind fury and vengeance, granting no quarter to man, woman or child. Her unnerving hunger prompted their life, sucking the blood out of each victim, aunts, uncles, mother, sisters, all consumed and absorbed into her very being. And lastly, her father whom had disowned her for many years was the last to be killed and sucked away.

The Binding had been complete since that fateful night. Isabella had been given a superior and rare power, control over shadow and a connection to the shadow world. By abandoning her human name, she took up a gypsy name; Nokomis Ruthven, in respect to her new self. An intimate connection to the Void and all that represents it, and for over two centuries, she served the void in secrecy. In the present day, she had only recently gotten through the Plague War. Currently, she resides in Wormwood.

I was born 24 years ago in some gods-forsaken small village In the middle of a horrible little male infested planet. I was born to the king and queen of Irialot. The king did not react well to having a “freak” for a daughter. Born with a dagger in my plump newborn hand, I was significantly more than my father was equipped to handle. When my mother died of complications during my birth, I became evil in my father’s eyes. He did however keep me alive and for that I can not summon too much gratitude.

My father was a violent man, which as a single trait would have been tolerable. Unfortunately he was also the worst example of parenthood or basic humanity after my mother passed. Though I was a princess I lived in constant fear of his devastating fists and destructive words. I was a prisoner within the castle grounds.

When I was 15 I had the great misfortune to begin to look like a mirror of my deceased mother. This enraged my father and the beatings got worse and came more often. Unfortunately the beatings became the least of my worries as my father’s sick mind began to condone abuse of a far worse kind.

After the first such event occurred I was scarred and I hated all men, especially the weak minded fools who would drag me to my own father’s quarters. Pierce, who throughout my childhood had almost always remained hidden as some form of jewelry became his true dagger form and was almost always in my hand. I had never felt such a thirst as when Pierce consumed the first soul that I killed in my own defense. After I killed the first 10 men father sent to gather me, he got wise and stopped for a time. With every man I killed the urge to fight got stronger. My knowledge of fighting, strategy and killing grew and Pierce reveled in consuming the souls which made him stronger. Then my father had my food drugged. So it continued for years, me attempting to kill him and his guards, him finding new underhanded ways to get to me. He was always careful and would have Pierce taken to a separate room in a lock-box, the sick b*****d enjoyed having my life in his hands. After 4 years of this I escaped the palace and ran all over the globe, managing to stay one step beyond my father’s reach. Unfortunately my face was far to recognizable so I had to kill many more men who would have turned me in. My life became an atrocious mix of fleeing, killing and hiding.

I was 20 when the whispers started. I truly thought that I had lost my mind, although Pierce did not seem particularly concerned. I guess when you are a creature that is considered evil, hearing dark whispers offering you salvation becomes a good thing. In any case once I began to believe that I actually spoke to the void, I was made an offer I couldn’t refuse. So in a pitch black ceremony I became Voidsworn, during which, I was marked with a tattoo behind my ear and given what I needed. The power to kill my father.

On my 24th birthday I finished killing my father after a full day of “conversation” between us. Pierce consumed his soul and I was flooded with a wealth of knowledge. Not one tear was shed that night. The very next morning the void transported me to Rykos to help destroy one who falsely claimed to be void sworn. I was happy to leave my home world, I was given a new beginning.

Battle Strength: Swift as the wind and deadly, Max is an agile type of fighter whom uses his energy based attacks to make up for his lower body mass. Through crafty illusions and ingenious fire skills, he'll mix up martial arts along with his different mantras to gain an edge in combat based on the various deities of Rykros such as the Mantra of Emotion or Harmony. As a monk, Maxim is both in tune with the world and with himself.

Battle Weakness: One of the obvious weaknesses is his tie to the mask worn around his head. To hide himself from the world around, Maxim takes seclusion over dealing with many whom question his ways. Personality: Extremely loyal, Maxim is a man who serves few who he can practice his view on life with. Following a belief of clarity, there are none he sees as 'Dark' despite being born of a ill-natured clan. He considers himself dark nor light, but neutral despite what those following Tyral may believe. The wicked who seek death of the innocent are those whom are dark and those who give to the poor or help the weak are the light. His belief is that one's chosen religion isn't a status of their alignment but their actions. Maxim is charitable and often will help those in need or support the weak of whom cannot defend themselves. He helps those of all faiths, good or bad. Those who oppress and those who harm others for no reason are the Wicked, and a strong belief of Maxim's is 'fight power with the source' to consume the hearts of the Wicked and harness that power to stop more of the Wicked. Often mischievous, Maxim is known to do a bit of stealing and minor crime from his nature as a fox-like being yet nothing major.

Born in a ill-natured cult, Maxim grew up with an odd connection to the world, one with mind and body. He saw things in a sheltered life for the most part, shut off from much of his childhood. At later in his childhood, he had experienced the horrors of life upon seeing death, disease, and poverty for the first time in his life. Having lived a life sheltered from all of that, he was told that his 'kind' need not worry of that as they achieve something grater than humanity. At his coming of age, he trained under the ways of a Monk devouted to both the God of his cult and those of the material world of Rykros. His biggest goal was simple. Free the world of the Wicked and help the unfortunate.
