*Looking at the list, Jin decides to work on the Change technique first. Thinking for a second, he remembers his brother, San, hugging him when he was frightened after the death of their parents. "Too easy," thought Jin, "I want to really do this right... Perfect!"

Channeling his chakra, he forms a hand seal, creating a clone. But not just any clone; a clone of the Kazekage, after their fingers brushed one another when he gained his ninja band. This would probably come in handy; not only could he make a clone of anyone he's touched, but few people would want to fight someone as strong as Mamaru-sama or San. This would be an extremely useful jutsu.*

*Dismissing the clone, The gennin made several hand seals and called upon a murder of crows. Jin made a mental note that the color of the crows lent the jutsu to the favor of those wearing dark clothing. This cover could be used offensively or defensively.

The young boy began to practice moving in and out through the cover of the crows and imagined the various ways to use it. He could cover a retreat, or use it to cover attacks from himself or his teammates. Feeling comfortable with the jutsu, Jin dismissed the crows.*

*Next up was the body flicker technique. Jin formed some iron sand and pulled up up around him, forming a hand seal as he did so. As the sand fell, the boy had disappeared and reappeared 6 feet behind where he'd been standing.*

"Heh... Cool."

*Lastly, the boy was to learn the Chakra Absorbtion Technique. To the boy's way of thinking, this was almost a necessity for efficient combat. This ability, with physical contact, would allow him to suck chakra from his opponent and replenish his own stores.

Forming a hand seal, the boy's hands begin to glow black with swirls of blue throughout. Forming another hand seal, Jin used the Change Technique to create a clone of San. Running up to the clone, he pressed his hand to the clone's chest, feeling a light flow of chakra into his body, invigorating him.

Its small amount of chakra drained, the clone returned to the form of a regular clone. Dismissing the clone, Jin turned to face Hatake-sensei.*

"I'm finished sensei."

"Very well."

*Turning to the exit, Jin followed Hatake-sensei out the door and to the dojo.*

Silas walked into the academy and started right away on two Clan jutsu that would come in handy. Flipping the light switch Silas could now see his own shadow and would try to perform any of his clan jutsus preferably any basic jutsu.

Shadow Release - Extending Shadow Hands (Kageton - Hari Kage Te)

Silas performed a hand seal and his shadow started to flicker from side to side. As the shadow spasms once more two little sprouts come out of the sides and have five little nubs on each limb. There were only two wavy arm like things and they were nowhere near being close to arms.

Silas focused once more and performed the hand seal again. The shadow started to form two arms and they began to wrap up Silas' body and extend on his arms. The arms stopped shortly before Silas' real arms and with a sigh Silas broke off the jutsu and tried once more to get the jutsu right.

As Silas focused on his chakra output, he also focused on the length of the shadow arms. Performing the seal Silas watched as his shadow twirled up his body and sprouted of from his outer wrists and the hands were together in the same motion as Silas' arms were. As Silas stood he threw a few punches and the the arms did the same thing. "Count the shadows." Silas had learned Shadow Release - Extending Shadow Hands (Kageton - Hari Kage Te)!

Silas would now take his first steps into the addicting parallel universe of Genjutsu the illusion jutsu. Silas would begin by learning rank E and moving his way up. Two jutsu would suffice for right now.


Hada no Kamereon (Chameleon Skin)

As Silas performed the necessary hand seals he watched as his body began to fade into the colors of the room around him. Noticing that he could still see some of his body Si walked over towards a wall and breathed in and out very heavily for a moment to ensure that his body had enough oxygen. Silas performed the jutsu again and the technique encompassed his body making him invisible to an enemy for one post.

This next Genjutsu is a very weak Genjutsu but would allow Silas to get a quick advantage on the opponent.

Suna Arashi no Odokemono (Trickster’s Sand Storm)

Silas' back was still against the wall and he performed the hand seals for his next Genjutsu attack. A small sandstorm appeared around the academy where Silas was training. If any other lower rank or equal rank shinobi were training in the room they would be susceptible to this technique. As the little sandstorm brewed and the fellow shinobi rubbed their eyes the technique was gone and the ninjas all looked around like as if they were crazy and the invisible Silas laughed to himself and repeated his nindo once again "Count the shadows."

Silas noticed that the water was just a stream of water and not an actual glob. Silas took a few steps forward from the wall turned to face the wall and started up again on the jutsu.

Silas quickly performed his hand seals and felt the water traveling up his throat. Quickly trying to disperse the water, Silas let out a spraying mist that sort of dribbled from his mouth. "Not again this is such a drag."

Wiping the water from his mouth Silas tried for the jutsu again. Performing the hand seals and breathing in before letting the chakra water out of his mouth. This time a blast of water came out but it wasn't condensed so the water just sprayed off from the wall and covered Silas with his own... "spit."

Silas started his breathing to coincide with his bodies actions. Finally ready he tried the technique once more. Making the hand seals and breathing in while molding the chakra in his stomach. Finally feeling the chakra in his throat again Silas let out three decent fist sized bullets of water that pummeled the wall making a small dent. This technique would add to Silas' arsenal but in order to defeat an opponent he would need more than the jutsu he had just learned.
