Gin actually scrunched back as he came towards her, like kids afriad of ones with cooties. It wasn't that she was afraid of him or what he was saying. She was afraid of what had bitten him. The last four weeks had been pure hell, and she wasn't a military person she didn't even LIKE the military.
"You'll have a bullet n your head and all your limbs before your mouth comes anywhere near my tail" she hissed out her ears flat to her sull, She looked at the other medic
"I'm not posative. some of them I saw turned only hours later, the others days."s he said
"The scientest at first wanted to contain the...." She trailled off as Aleron began to cough up blood. THe sight and scent of it made blood drain from her own face. Was this a symptom? She wasn't sure, but she knew she wasn't getting any closer to that loud mouthed little idiot then she was. She drew a gun and waited. It was pointed at the ground for the moment her finger off the trigger as her eyes stayed locked onto Aleron.
"So.. you normally cough up blood?" she said to him in a strained voice

"Aleron...calm down." The statement might be a little late, given Boda's previous reprimand, but she felt she should say it anyway. Seeing him on his knees, blood coming from his coughs, and feeling his life force flicker slightly, her medical training kicked in. She went over to him, setting her Med-kit on the ground as she knelt in front of him, pulling out some gauze for him to use to wipe the blood off. "Has this ever happened before, the blood-coughing thing?" she asked calmly, placing her hand lightly on his back to try to stop (or at least reduce/steady) his shaking.
Seeing Gin's reaction, she said, "Put the gun away, please...even if it only takes hours, it hasn't been that long yet, I think."

Aleron nodded a bit. "It's...n-nothing..." he said, panting heavily and wiping the blood before making a strange sound and desperately getting to his feet and jumping through the serving hole in the wall, landing rather close to Gin, and throwing up quite a bit of blood into the sink. After he did this a few times, he slowly sank to his knees, his hands still on the edge of the sink. Shooting a weak glare at Gin, blood around his mouth, he smirked slightly. "But...t-that'-s...n-new...Been...what? T-two hours..? T-thr-ee...?"

Gin was as far form him as possiable the moment he came over that serving hole and leaned over the sink. She'd gotten completely used to the smell of blood now and leveld the gun at him her eyes cold and hard.
"Long enough I'd presume, but you're still talking normally wich is the only reason i haven't shot you yet' she said to him quiet and angry. Her hands were not shaking as they had been before, she was perfectly ready to kill him right then and there. But she didn't really want to beleive he was infected
"If you come after me I'm shooting " she said dully as she backed up slowly her tail pressed to the wall to keep her from running into something. She didn't want to kill him or anyone, she was a doctor, a praction of medicine.. she was supposed to save lives.. not destory them. She moved till her back was aginst the far wall and waited. Her gun held ready her finger on the trigger

"...Are you sure you're fine, Aleron? Losing that much blood isn't good, and it's definitely not normal..." she said worriedly as she watched him, going over to him again, watching Gin and keeping herself between the human and the Cathan. She placed her hand gently against his back. It was strange; just an hour or two ago, she wouldn't have cared more than a typical doctor should. But now, after getting to know him...she didn't want to see Aleron hurt. Perhaps she'd made a friend on the ship...
"Gin, stay calm. I know you've been through a lot, but Aleron...he's fine. If he changes, I've got a vibro-blade...but, please, just calm down. He might actually be able to find a cure for the infection...trust me, he's already done some unbelievable stuff with science," her voice was quiet and calming. She, too, was a doctor, and didn't want anyone hurt or even threatened unless absolutely necessary.

Aleron aimed his wrist-rifle at Gin, pale as a ghost. "You better...p-put that gun down. That's a-an order, Gin.." he said weakly, the light bright despite her visor. He swallowed hard and his eyes were dim and grey.

((Well, I'm back, and jeez you guys posted quite a bit))
Mio finally wanders into the mess hall, his attention on his wrist-mounted data-com and the holograpic text that was scrolling by just above it.
He absently navigated around the survivor on the stretcher, and it wasn't until he gets into the galley that he notices the tension and stand-off in the room. "Er, did I miss something?" he asks, blinking and looking around.

I'll shoot him though you" she hissed out to the other doctor. Been though a lot? Been though a lot?!? The rescue crew were morons. One though he could cure it, another was squishy for that one.
"You won't get a chance to. They move to damned quick especially at the distance you're at if he turns" she snapped to her. Then gasped sharply as the light just about blinded her. She had to bring one arm up to shield her eyes, spots making it hard for her to see anything. The headache was intinsfied so many fold it wasn't funny
"I'm. Not. Military!" she snapped" And I'm not taking orders from somone coughing up blood, refusing to admit that despite how abnormal it is, people who are bitten become them" she growled out. She was blinking rapidly trying to rid herself of the spots so she had a clear shot of him.
"I'm not lowering my gun. How do you think I survived for four weeks in this hell hole. Do you think I did it following orders of some military morons who said they had it all contained while they were being killed off and letting this thing run rampint!!" she said to him her voice taking a hysterical edge
"I hate military I always have, I was only here for the effing paycheck! Jsut back up to the main doctor for over flow from the miners thats all it said. Easy money!" she said tears slipping down her face. Made it harder to see
"Get your light out of my face! I'm not going to fire till I know you're one of them. Why else do I have several people in cryo. They aren't infected, Hurt, wounded, attaced but not infected" she said to him
"I don't kill because i want to!" she added

"Aleron, leave her alone! You're not helping the situation right now. Give her a break and quit provoking her." She sighed and rested her fingertips against her forehead, feeling like an adult breaking up a squabble between two children. If they could just leave each other alone for five minutes...
Hearing Mio, she simply replies, "Gin's jumpy, Aleron feels threatened, and...well, you can see where that got them."

Aleron bit back the weakness, as Boda had helped him to whenever this happened. He stood and pushed past Miya, but not hard. He lowered his wrist and never broke eye-contact with Gin, showing he wasn't out to eat her skull. He stopped not far from her, glaring into her eyes so fiercely they might melt from the sockets. He spoke through gritted teeth, too low for anyone else to really hear other then her. "I. Have. A terminal. Condition. I'm not ******** infected. If you EVER aim that ******** gun at me again, I'll splatter your arm on the wall. I don't care if you're military, I'm more scientist then soldier! I'm on YOUR side, damnit! Get that in! Your! Head!!" he hissed, turning away only to cough a bit more blood. He stormed away and sat at a table himself, silent.
If anyone had looked close, they would have seen that Aleron never flipped off the safety of his gun. All he technicly did was point a light at her face.
