She scowled. "And you really think my father wanted to get arrested and sent to prision? He held everyone together really." She looked quizical. "Anime conventions?"

"I didn't mean it like that...sorry...erm..Anime conventions are places where fans whol love japanese style comic books and art go to dress up, participate and just have a blast." she said pulling out a manga. "Here like these. Seeing how you like to paint and all."

She traced her finger along the pencil strokes. "It's amazing work with a pencil. Much more then I could hope for. I usually do a brief sketch before painting, but I'd be too afraid the pages would stick together."

"Though....no one ever really knows now do they?" she said looking at her. "I mean...if you're destined to be something and you change paths...then it's not created from the day you were born. Personally I think that people create their destiny as they live day by day depending on what choices they make."

"One day you'll get your calling and just like that," she snapped her fingers loudly. "You'll know. I mean I know Slytherins are supposed to hate muggles and all...but I'd rather live a peaceful life near them because I know they wont bother me. Gabby said she's going into performing arts. Sammie said she's interested in opening up a bookstore that sells botoh wizard books and muggle books. Maggie...I think she wanted to be a cook and as for me...I don't know yet. But I'll know when my time comes." she said simply.

She clenched her fist at the thought of becoming what her father was. "McGonagall during the career advisory spoke with me about possibly getting a job as a spell reverser. I rejected the idea." She watched her bandages in facination as she continued. "She didn't understand that I can't sever a government that ruined everything we had going. Is that selfish of me?"

"I noticed that it makes you happy when you paint. It's something you enjoy. I mean the way I see it, you have to do something you enjoy. Don't worry about what your family thinks or says about you. It's youhr life and you aren't obligated to keep up the family name. If they're so unhappy about it then too bad." she scribbled something on her notebook.
