*Than yawned loudly. He'd finished whatever he was doing for now, so he thought he'd check on Kai again. Than dropped right through the small trap door and landed near silently. He stood up and looked to Kai with a blink* oh. You're awake ^^; Ohayo..... you weren't asleep all that long really. *He tilted his head* How are you.....

*He took a breath, knowing from the beginning that Kai would probably protest his aid* Um..... *He wanted to make sure he said it right..... too many times in the past had Than's good intentions been thwarted by his ill choosen vocabulary. Than leaned against the wall on his right shoulder. It could also be noted there were some bandages wrapped poorly around his right hand, obviously because of Than's use of only one arm*.... I knew you probably wouldn't want me, or anyone for that matter, to get involved in trying to help you...... but, Kaiori-san, I can't just sit and watch people I care about..... really care about suffer needlessly. There was no reason for you to be in there.... you were just doing what you believed in.... as was I by helping you get out..... *He sighed*....that probably sounded all wrong....

*Than moved over to her and sat by her, but didn't try to embrace her at all*..... So you saw one of them. *he looked down* That's..... why I was trying to convince you not to attack really...... It's not my father I'm worried about.... it's my siblings.... all three of them. *After divulging just how many children were in the citadel, he looked up to Kai, more or less staring at her wing* Gomen nasai..... I should have just told you. But, Otosan had no right to do that to you. He wasn't doing it to punish you, he was doing it because he enjoyed your suffering. It was.... just more than I could stand. So you made a mistake...... at least you came forward to do what you thought was right..... I'm not mad or angry..... just.... sorry that this had to happen to you....

*The children continued scurrying about, whether they knew their parents were up or not. They were restless, and wanted to see the things they were told about earlier. At least for now they were learning, so that was the one upside to their running about*

*Than's fingers gently rested against Kai's healthy wing*.... You didn't drag me into this Kaiori-san. Really.... I should be thanking you for showing me the truth. I thought maybe that Otosan had changed........ I guess he hasn't changed a bit under the surface.... *He sounded disheartened and moved his hand away*..... Don't blame yourself for what I do. I made a commitment to help the people I care about..... and I intend to stick to that. That means you too Kaiori-san. I told you once and I still mean it..... I'm not trying to dishearten you..... I'm trying to say that you're never as alone as you might believe. *He smiled softly, even if Kai couldn't see him*

*kaiori lowers her wing, she was still blushing slightly from shame but smiles softly in return* thank you Than, you really saved me this time

*He smiled back at her, pinkening slightly* Do itashimashite. But that's a bit much isn't it? I know you would have found some way out..... I just sped things up. *He laughed a little nervously. Turning back to Kai, Than reddened quite deeply and looked elsewhere, it finally registering to him the state of Kai's attire* I...ah!.... Goment nasai >//< I forgot all about your robe..... *It was an odd reaction, considering Kai had once seen Than in an even more exposed state at the pond in the BC gardens, yet Than hadn't made anything of it. However, at least he was modest towards other people's attire*

*kaiori raises an eyebrow and looks at herself, she hadn't thought it was that bad but she had spent most of her time with men who didn't care how much they saw of her, she lowers her wing infront of herself* sorry..
