It's funny because someone in the motorpool - where I'm now working - figured out my first name and, since they're all real cool with one another, figured it'd be all right to be buddy-buddy with me and use it. They tried three times before they finally got pissed and used my last name. Granted I was replacing a generator on an LMTV so I was kinda distracted, but still...I don't even remember I have a first name half the time. xd
Had a similar issue when I went home on leave.

Gotta say...really didn't want to get up for PT this morning. I was all comfy under my thermal blankets, nice fluffy pillow. Then my second alarm went off, the one on the other side of the room, so I growled and threw my covers off waiting for that FREEZING air to hit me...forgot I'd left the heater on all night.
xd
Felt really good to stand under that heating vent for a couple of minutes.

Ok, so I'm kinda pissed. I show up to CIF snd turned around because I don't have my previous clothing record, which they can print off. Ok, fine, turn around drive 30 minutes back to go get them. Come back only to be told that I have to wait until 1300 to actually get issued anything! You couldn't have told me that last time and saved me the fricken trouble?!
