Surprised by surprise-ed-ness, Tommy woke up, seeing Max on the floor, and Maddy in her usual perch on the ceiling. "Long time no see, right?" Tommy joked. "How's it going?"

"Oh, good. Bit restless lately but other than that, just fine." Maddy was sitting in her usual corner on the ceiling. She was leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, twiddling the fingers of her left hand impatiently on her forearm.

Tommy noticed the sharp looking nails, but didn't say anything about it. "Same." at that very moment, Tommy sent a small discarge of sparks involuntarily from his body. "great..." he muttered inaudibly. "So... bored?" he asked, also telling his own state of mind. Bored.

"Yes, very bored. Also very tired. Haven't been able to get much sleep lately." She sighed and conjured up a small ball of purple and black flame, playing around with it in her hands.

"I know how that goes." Tommy sighed. He started playing with a small fireball as well, though he lacked the naturalness Maddy probably had.

Maddy's fireball suddenly disappeared. She was gazing off at the wall, almost in a trance. She was either deep in thought or just completely zoned out. "..."

"Oh look, my mission contest is ending tonight." Ginji smiled as he looked at the clock. "Seems to be about an hour left for submissions." he said to himeself.

"Wait, what?" Ginji asked as he was left all alone. Silent people can be pretty annoying. Afterwards, he sighed deeply as ate some more food.
