She looked at the head for a moment and then shook her head, "Thanks but no thanks. It's a nice gesture but I have nowhere to put it that would be decorative enough." She ran a hand through her hair and wanted to laugh giddily. The thing was dead, killed by her own hands and she wanted to just celebrate. It was an amazing thing taking it's life like that...she wanted to do it again. "Certainly. That would be most appreciated." She smiled but taht smile faded when she processed his other sentence, "Mind raped by Malevolence? What do you mean...?" No, Zahara was not priveleged enough to know that Malevolence could read unguarded minds, for if she had been priveleged enough to recieve this information she wouldn't have had her mind unguarded when she was around Malik.

Sleepy Moosntone didn't even bother to get annoyed. "Oh yeah, I'm already sleeping on the floor." She just didnt' want to be left alone again, That was completely understandable wasn't it? It sure was.
"Thanks, I'll read through them. Morelle? I thought the next time we saw him, Mother and Father would be along as well."

Lord Diamond smiled, "For the Good of all goodly-" The man's voice faded into his last breath. A lord of Deep Water, lay slain in a foreign city, away from his family and some of his friends, but the best of company is always the men and women you fight with. Who could ask for more.
"Malevolence is capable of reading minds." The drow placed a whistle in his teeth, and blew a note that Zahara could not hear. "Ok, I'll keep it." The drow tilted his head back and forth, and then smiled. "Ah, my mount."
Lavi, the fairly large bronze dragon, landed on the path near the duet. "Lavi meet... Oh, I haven't aske you for your name yet. Lavi, girl who killed nasty, girl who killed nasty, Lavi." The dragon snifed the air about Zahara.
"You don't mind giving her a ride to Malik's do you?" The drow pat the nose of the creature that could easily swallow him whole.

Fianna took on that look that sometimes Kieran got. The 'I'm thinking but I'm not really sure' look. "I can for sure at least say a dozen, all subraces included." Yes even the drow. She knew of at least one drow rune mage...curteousy of Kieran of course. "It's not an easy thing to master or switch so flawlessly through...can take years." A wave of her hands and both circles as well as the runes on Piper's dagger fadeded out. "Yes, at least a dozen who can both maipulate and scribe properly." The she shook her head with a smile, holding up her hand in that oh so polite gesture of decline. "No thank you Malik," her look shifted to Piper a moment before back to him, " you've already given me a far greater gift than anything I could think of."
Oh look, the room was half fluffy, and half full of intrigue. It was an interesting mix to say the least but she gave her mother a smile and a little nod before looking back to Malik as she set her dagger on the desk. "Speaking of Zahara..." Piper was getting a bit worried...but she just kept reminding herslef that Zahara was drow and more than capable of taking care of herself in the Underdark, unlike Piper.

Malik grinned. at least one drow. that might be useful.
"Male or female drow?"
though a look to Piper.
"She'll be fine. though liable to be upset when she gets back. Tarathiel knows about Malvolences ability to read minds, and I wouldn't doubt he's informed her. Though I dare say that if the Imps do what they were told, she'll be back before long."
Then back to Fianna.
"You are givning me a lot more than you think. with this trade route, I have access to surface only producable items. grains, foods, fruits, like cinnamon. which would command great value here. Plus...more racial relations. with your and Kieran's endorsement, I may be able to strengthen my hold here through the aquisition of specialized professions, such as rune mages. You're givning me a political and military edge. it's deserving of some kind of compensation."
By now, the crate was being dragged back inside, and down to the arena by breaker guards, who while they didn't know how to read anything but thier own language, except broog, who knew how to read runic...the living sounds implied something for combat use.

"Zahara." She watched the dragon for a moment, majestic creature. So Malevolence could read minds...well that made for a pissed off Drow. How many times had Malik used it to search through her mind? Well he'd be getting an earful from her, make no mistake about that one. She nodded, "Pleasure to meet you Lavi." She let the dragon sniff the air and waited to see what her response would be.

Lavi lowered his head, and Tarathiel climbed up onto his shoulders, "Need a hand?"

"That would be very helpful." She figured the dragon had no problems with her since he wasn't snapping his jaws or snorting and there hadn't been a column of flame trying to toast her. So she lifted her hand up so that Tarathiel could help her on , "Alright then. You do know where it is, right? Because I'm not entirely sure if I do..."

Fianna shrugged lightly. "Just drow...I know nothing other than than. Kieran says drow and I sort of tune him out sometimes...moreso to protect my sanity when he speaks of his galavanting around where he shouldn't be. He would be the one to ask about that."
A nod to Malik. She supposed that comforted her a little...at least a little bit. And knowing the imps were on her case were good too...seeing as they loved her to death. "You get yourself into trouble with that damn sword." Which she was still partially jealous of.
Another one of those dismissive waves that were so common practice with her. "Think nothing of it Malik...family should owe no debts to each other adn should not be expected to repay what is so thoughfully given."

Tarathiel took Zahara's hand and pulled her up onto the dragons back, and placed her behind him. "Of course I know where Malik lives," Tarathiel smiled and chuckled. "Lavi, up we go."
The dragon took off, and flew a seemingly short distance to the base of the path leading to Malik's fortress.
"Maybe I will come in after all. My home seems to be crowded at the moment, no need to have that many personalities in one place at one time. By the graces of Lloth, I am enough personality for a whole country." The drow dismounted and offered to catch Zahara by holding out his arms, "Unless your comfortable with the height."

"Thisis true I get in trouble with it alot. particularly with you. it doesn't take reading minds to know how much you dislike it."
Though he took it off and placed on it's holder by the bed.
"family. but this is more than just a gift between family members..it's a potential planar alliance. surely that counts for something greater."
Not to mention if he did somethign wrong or stupid it might look better to have it been a more 'purchased' thing in appearance than just a freely given gift of access into thier plane.

Zahara wrapped her arms around Tarathiel's middle the way a girl would around her boyfriend when they were on his motorcyle, or in the long ago days, a woman did around the man she was riding with depending on how you looked at the situation. She watched teh scenery fly by, quite literally and then they had landed and Tarathiel was holding out his arms. Seh slid into them effortlessly and chuckled, "Malik will just be so excited to see you here. But the choice is yours. THank you though, for everything."

She shook her head lightly. "You're not going to let me walk out of here without accepting something from you, are you? Very well then...I'll accept something from you...just take a pick of what you feel works. I'm not picky." He certinally was quite the driven business man wasn't he? Then she held up a finger at him, "And I won't have you arguing with that Malik D'Vinn. The decision is made."
Piper watched him take of Malvolence with less resistance and fight than she expected. Usually they had to at least spat over the blade. Then again, Malik had been walking around without it more often. Which made her happy as well. "Well you know why I don't like it." Creeped her out...more so since she had touched it that first time.

"No prob." Kimmuriel said, "I think I should knock, he doesn't like me enough just to have me walking in like this." He moved to the door, and knocked. "I guess you could always just walk on in, since you live here and all." Looking at his dragon, the drow signaled with his hands which caused the creature to strech out its wings and leap into the air.

She was back on her own feet a moment later and she began to walk towards the entrance of the manor. A glance back at him and she shook her head, a smile on her face. "Oh no, I think you should come in with me. It will be much more entertaining in the end." She watched the dragon fly around and then beckoned to Kimmuriel. A few more steps and she pushed open the door and stepped inside, leaving it open for him to come through. "I'm hooome..." An impish grin, "And I brought a friend..."
