Rolled the 0-3 this time. If you count the not exactly BS reason (as his action was crowd control instead of something specifically made for her) then consider her throwing a crit / surprise attack there. Otherwise we can say he did something to take into account her situation and it's just a normal hit.
As for her knife stabbing the 'soul' and such... it was before we started talking about resists and I was assuming we'd be just using straight damage. More or less it sounds a bit BS by our old RP logic for her to do things like twist it and such, but we aren't keeping tabs on bow users arrows and such, so in terms of how damage dealing works it's more or less the same as that... or if we considered her having a stash of throwing knives.
At least unless we start talking how it fits into the resist charts and such if we add those to physical weapons. sweatdrop

I think it should do normal damage lol, it's just, you got lucky and the attack hit
(if it was something like I said before with the gambling 0-2 # gen) while blinded, if you wanted to take the chance of critting (since you're going to miss anyways), you should random # gen 0-5 instead of 0-3 if you hit a 5 its a crit? do you see what I'm trying to say
EDIT: oh, whoops, forgot about your passive yea ok uh hm would that affect how long you're blinded for? or the chances of you hitting even though you're blinded?

In her bio it says she is blind and uses her magic to basically see, much like Merlin from the Lost Years of Merlin series, or Daredevils echolocation. A flashbang-type spell probably wont blind her as it is intended, but might disrupt her magic based sight for a turn or two as she would just need to really focus to bring it back.
Zekial is blind as a bat though, but if he is also resistance to that type of magic would he have less of an effect? Instead of three rounds maybe he is blinded for two?
Edit: Scratch that first part, she basically sees by casting an illusion on herself that provides pictures based on what her other senses pick up and relate to from when she could see. I dont see that spell doing anything to her.

xp Her eyes don't work. Was why she was listening for the strangers instead of sensing to begin with. More or less she fakes it with the Sensor ability. This is that blind character I talked about in here a while before we started.
Admit, this scenario is making this character a bit Munchkinry.

oop It wouldn't affect you then, fk whatamess
1. so your 0-3 was meant to be a gamble roll for a crit? 2. what would resistance CC (crowd control) passive do to a CC effect? gives you a better chance of hitting? or reduces the time on it? because not all CC affects chance of hitting, like being rooted or being stunned I'm leaning towards reduces the time on it

Yeah, since we sorted it out treat it as a gamble roll for crit / surprise attack given stranger probably thinks she's hindered by his skill.
I'm not sure where to say it falls beyond assuming maybe it won't increase the needed roll for the rest of the group, but might raise the needed roll for the person in question to be effected.
There isn't exactly a perfect answer with crowd control since you're right about different skills having different effects. sweatdrop Reduced time probably is the smartest option though. Maybe depending on circumstances a person needs to hit a higher then normal roll to get those people who are resistant. I don't exactly know how hers would fit there, or if it would just be better to have her passive be 'hard to blind' instead. sweatdrop

well, this is more for fuji since you're not affected by this specific CC (blind)
and regardless, you killed Stranger #1 with that attack lol and Stranger #2 is missing

So taking on my d&d experience I have always encouraged my players to write a detailed history, and before we would start I would read through them and hand out a bonus or two based on back story. Say one person grew up fighting Goblins all their life they'd get a +1 on their attack roll (and possibly damage) against a goblin.
With your character being blind their is no reason she couldn't still have resistance to crowd control magic but as a "bonus" to her being blind she is unaffected by blinding spells.
At the same time, what if someone who knew how your character "saw" and casted a dispel spell on you? Since that is simply magic would it technically give you the blinded status? Or maybe a panicked status?

Probably would be the blinded status until she could refresh it, possibly longer if someone tried a different kind of illusion or tactic that might be able to disrupt sensing.

Ah, okay. Wait, he's dead now? Win!
But yeah, maybe resistance to crowd control magic could just effect the duration, and resistance to magic could be the damage?
