(( THANK YOU MEEKI AND DONATORS eeeeee <3 ))
Even with his hands on her hips and Holly's arms around his neck, West still managed to keep a good six inches between them and a scowl on his face the entire time they danced. Mortifying? Yes. At least it appeared the ghoul was as disgusted with the situation as he was. This was somehow so much worse than dancing with Tset, perhaps because he knew Holly and because the dance was a slow one.
As Riley's disturbingly elaborate brain song came to an end and Calder and Christof took the stage, West snatched his hands away from the fox ghoul and quipped, "Y'look terrible y'know." Then, as if to soften his words, he added, "An'so do I. This dance's crap." He hurried off of the dance floor, slumping back into a seat near the poludnica.
West turned and hunched over the table, only looking up again when he slowly came to the realization that Christof was on stage and there were coherent - well, relatively coherent - sounds coming out of him. What a liar! He might have jumped to his feet and pointed if this had been any other time, but instead West just... kept sitting. This was clearly information that would require action later.

Alwine finally walked out of the bathroom as raffle winners were being announced and the scareaoke machine was at full blast. The ghoul couldn't help but wonder why West and his friend looked so miserable dancing together.
Curiously, Alwine walked over to the couple, clapping softly. With Jack nowhere in sight, she didn't feel too guilty. He probably got bored and left. She felt guilty for asking him to come in the first place... he probably didn't want to.
"West, that was a... nice dance..." Alwine wasn't quite sure whether she should compliment it or not, what with the scowls on their faces.

Riley sat up straight when Christof and Calder took the stage, and listened to their show (because really, it was more of a show than a song, and it was a good show at that). Briefly, she thought that perhaps, in another lifetime, they two of them might have made a funny pair - but as it was, she wasn't entirely happy about how much time her igor was spending with the kelpie nowadays. Still, she clapped politely, giving Christof a pleased expression.
At least he was making good use of that tongue of his, while he still had it.
Once they left the stage, she slumped back to rest on Malodore's shoulder, her mood somewhat enigmatic. She had found her perch on the stage rather nice, as long as it stayed beside her. Especially if it kept feeding her snacks.. there was no reason to get up. It was easy to fall into a comfortable lull, enhanced by the quiet noise of the chatter around them.

Gargantuan, of course, had done his best to... well, look his best! His ribbon-wrapped-bucket was settled precariously upon his head so that he would look more dignified, and once again, his skull pin had been pulled down around his neck much like a bow-tie. It even had the beautiful little pin that he and Patchy had found together on it!
All in all, the swamp monster was feeling quite fashionable.
Having been nomming quite contentedly on whatever snacks (his idea of 'snacks' had always been questionable) he had come across, the thought of dancing was something that both perplexed and intrigued the large monster. It was much better than 'kissing', but he still was reluctant to try this out with just anyone! New people were a little scary.
That was when he had the misfortune to spot Riley sitting on the stage next to Malodore, and his fins immediately flared out with delight. Riley, it was time to face the inevitable. It was time to face your destiny.
Lumbering through the students, and merrily waving at those he knew, Gargantuan's face probably interrupted the romantic atmosphere the two were projecting. "Riiiiiiileeeeeeey. Show G dance?" His big, sucker-tipped fingers reached for her, and quite deftly plucked the mindflayer from her perch so that he could carry her onto the dance floor.
Hooray! Dancing!

Riley felt the vibrations before she even saw G. She pressed her hand against the stage, her brows furrowing as the indication of doom became stronger, and she could tell something was coming closer..
Closer..
The rumbling voice made her look up, and up, and.. G had a bucket on his head. And he was.. asking her to show him how to-
Ah, G, I'm not very-eeeeeEEE
She was picked up like a ragdoll, carried off to the dance floor. She tried not to flail, if only because her outfit would react very badly to such movement, and could only give Malodore a wide eyed stare as she was carted off to the dance floor.
When they finally arrived, she tried her best to right herself, and put her hands on G's shoulders. This strained her arms somewhat, and she was glad she was tall enough to reach them at all.
As.. forceful.. as G's appearance was, she didn't necessarily mind that he wanted to dance with her. She just wasn't very good at dancing - his choice of dance partner was, perhaps, not the best.
Okay G, I'll dance with you. But I warn you, I'm not very good.. and I'm certainly not going to lead.

Malodore could only stand in... something between amazement, horror, and silent hysterical laughter... as Gargantuan tromped over, grinning widely, and snatched Riley away to the dance floor. "Bring her back in one piece," it called after the swamp monster, barely managing to get the words out without laughing.
At last, he was dragging someone else into the spotlight!

"Yay!" Was the thoughtful and diligent response in regards to Riley's concerns, and Gargantuan didn't apparently see the point of setting the girl down so her feet could actually touch the floor. "G dunno how to dance. G lead!"
That was probably not the most reassuring thing in the world, either.
Unafraid about his lack of skills, the swamp beast merrily began to twirl in circles with Riley still in his arms--and her flying feet might kick a few people in the back of the head. Gargantuan didn't notice.

There were a few last minute seconds where Riley was still capable of coherent thought, before she was airborne. She could feel the sudden lack of gravity as her body was swung in circles, and she became more horizontal with each passing second. She felt the solid smack of someone against her legs, but it was impossible to say who she'd just kicked - let's just hope the heel didn't connect with anything important.
GIDONTTHINKTHISISWHATTHEYMEANBYDANCING She cried out all in one loud, jumbled thought, as she clung to him for dear life. The last thing she wanted was to find herself flying away and slamming into someone the way Tybalt had done to her earlier - whoever she flew into might not be as hardy as she was.
Her tentacles wrapped around G's arms, absolutely securing her to him. She would not fly away.

Sepheran blinked...did he just win something in the raffle. A small smile touched his lips. "Seems like a won something," he stated turning to his date for the night, Tess. "It is such a shame that the night is dwindling...I had a wonderful time with you tonight Tess. Thank you for coming tonight with me and Liannan," Sepheran added before wondering where he needed to go to collect his prize.

Not dancing?
Gargantuan gracefully stopped on a time, swayed heavily as all that spinning caught up to him, and promptly fell over with Riley (thankfully) on top of him rather than underneath. "No dance?" Came the woozy, if cheerful question, and the beast rolled himself onto his side with some effort before getting back onto his feet. Riley-the-rag-doll followed.
"How dance?" This was an important, serious question, and his nostrils flared a little with his concentration. He'd learn how to dance! He had a good teacher, now!

Erm. What? was all she could even think when Calder said he didn't have her number, and next thing she knew, he was off to sing. Colette took the time to look through her phone at everyone she had registered, but none of the numbers came up as the one she received from her "secret admirer" who was supposed to be Calder. That much she expected and understood, at least. She didn't have his number either. Colette knew she did what she was supposed to, that was Riley's room she arrived to, but what the heck! Was Calder just joking?
She tried to ignore all the singing, Christof was not someone she wanted singing to her; and as soon as Calder returned, Colette slid her phone closed and got back to the topic. "How do you not have my number?" she asked. "I got your message about meeting you in Riley's room. 'Your secret admirer' and everything."
