Luca hummed happily, "Me too, It's never felt like that. I feel so much better now." he buried his face in the pillow, and then sat up. "I'll have to go visit Penny soon, I should shower. You can come with me if you like, or you can stay with Nathan and try to get better acquainted."

"That's really cool, you sew? Ya know, my buddy Luca's the only other person who does that. He's a big time fashion designer now. Bet you'd like 'im." Their food came, and not a moment too soon. Clayton felt his stomach rumble, and he dug in. It was a wonder he even tasted his food. In mid-bite he seemed to remember he was in the presence of a lady and tried to eat slower. He seemed to put a lot of concentration in it, hesitating now and agai whether it was time to take another bite or a sip of soda.

Erin and Hypatia both watched Clara searching for something. Hypatia seemed confused, but Erin merely watched. Neither of them saw anything.

However, Clara would see, as she was searching, the same minotaur would be out the corner of her eye, but if she looked straight for him, he wouldn't be there.

Caleb snapped, the sentimentality, it was too much, and he grabbed her wrist roughly to tear it away from his cheek. His eyes dilated as he looked right at her. "Of course I don't want you to leave!" He replied with an icy chill of a voice that sounded like a beast about to attack, and when his eyes came back, he let go of her wrist and let his arms fall into his lap, looking down and then putting his hand on his forehead, breathing heavily, shaking his head, trying to come back. "I n-never... I don't want you to leave. It would be like... You dying all over again. I can't-..." He clenched his fist, pulling his hair, as if the pain would help him cope with all this sentimental talk. Before, Phoebe used to just always know. no matter how rotten he was to her, she always just knew. But now he had to spell it out for her, and it was the hardest thing he ever had to do aside from watching her leave him again, but this time possibly forever.

Pheobe drew back from him and stared, bewildered by his odd display but not afraid. He was so raw and honest with his reaction that she could almost feel his pain. "Caleb..." she began, unsure of what to say. Instead she looked at her wrist and saw that while he'd been rough he hadn't hurt her. "You confuse me" she admitted with a half-smile and a small shrug. "But for some reason I can't help but like you and want you to be happy... Maybe I'm having phantom emotions" she joked with a self-conscious blush.

"How can I possibly leave before I figure you out? My curiosity refuses to be held at bay. I'm just going to have to stay here and hang around you. Maybe you could even help me remember a few things... Like do you recall any of the books I read?" she asked. It was clear she was going to stay, but also that she was going to need his help.

Luca brightened and then gave Jin a quick kiss. "There are two showers. you can use the one down the hallway. The one downstairs is Nathan's bath, and I use the master bathroom here connected to this room." He pointed to the other door that wasn't to the hallway nor the closet. "I wish you luck with Nathan. He might snap and act rude but sometimes he really is a sweet, caring guy. He just takes some getting used to."

Caleb looked at Phoebe, hope in his eyes, but it died quickly. He knew that when things got down to it, Jeremy was the deciding factor. He was Phoebe's guardian, and Caleb was only... A friend. Jeremy would never let her stay here. He tried to not think about that though, deciding to wait until later. "You read all of these books," Caleb replied, then picked up 'Beauty and the Beast' again. "This one was your favorite. You liked love stories the best. Especially if it involved some bookworm and a monstrous beastly man. You'd call them 'misunderstood.' I call it 'an unlikely match.' Still, you always had a book with you."

"What are you LOOKING for?" Hypatia called out to Clara.

"Her feet take her to things her eyes see, but we cannot see." Erin replied with certainty.

Clayton found it oddly comfortable eating food quietly with Clone. Usually in a meal with someone else, Clayton had to make conversation since his father taught him so. But this sitting in silence, he just found her presence so calm, it kept his nerves calm, and he liked it.

Clara looked back at the both of them, then looked at Hypatia, "Bull!" She said, trying to say that she saw this bull-like man. Or was it some other kind of animal? She couldn't really tell since she only really saw him once when he was behind Hypatia. She crossed her arms grumpily, pouting. She wished that that the Mr. Bull ( She was going to call him that for now ) would show himself, it was very rude to hide from her for no reason. Unless he's playing Hide and Seek...



Clone continued to eat happily and quietly, occasionally glancing at Clayton in case he had anything to talk about. Her tiger ear twitched, it having a slight itch. She tried to ignore it, since it usually went away if she did. Though, her ear would keep twitching from the itch, and it was bugging her a little despite her attempts at not to be.

"Hmmmm~<3" Luca cooed, cuddling into Jin's arms. "You can wear something of mine or something from the wardrobe room for now, Nathan will show you where the ready pieces are. Have Nathan get your measurements while I'm gone so I can get to work on your wardrobe when I get back~ Does that sound alright?"

"Bull?" Hypatia repeated, incredulous. What the heck was she talking about? "A friend we cannot see. Bull." Erin replied, which caused Hypatia to sigh. "Well if its a hallucination then we should find doctor Hughes and let him know."

"So," Clayton said suddenly, reminding himself he had a question in the back of his mind. "That big bear back at your cafe... Is he uh... He your dad?"

"Weird," Caleb said without much thought as to what he was saying, "You used to pride yourself with knowing every name and background of the staff and students here." He sighed, trying not to get his hopes up. "As much as I hate to admit it, Hughes is the deciding factor. There isn't much I can say or do against his wishes. No matter how much I want to."

Pheobe scowled. "I believe I'M the one who is the deciding factor in my own life. Apparently I wasn't given the choice of my memory loss nor the neccessities to navigate without my wits. I'm not some pushover. I don't know who I was before but I suppose I'm a new person now. I'm sorry if that upsets you or anyone else and..." she let her words taper off, her eyes misting and her fists clenching.

Luca hopped up ad hurried to shower. I the meantime, Nathan was busy with something... Apparently re-arranging the CDs i the entertainment system. He was grumbling the whole time. "Would it kill him to put these things back in their place?" All of a sudden, he noticed a magazine in the pile. "Hm?" Picking it up, he didn't realize what it was until he turned it around and saw the almost naked men in the front. "Ugh, Luca, you left-" He stopped. He looked around.

'Surely, this was a trap. Luca made a mess of the CDs on purpose so that I would find this and show that I actually WAS interested in men... Well I'm not going to give him the satisfaction!' He picked it up more to put it away, when it slipped and fell to the floor, opening a page that was exceptionally naughty. "Urk-..." Nathan blushed redder than a beet, and his heart ached as it hiccuped. He looked around again, and saw no one around, and couldn't help but turn the page to an even more hard-core page, and it made Nathan whine a little. "No, no, I'm stronger than this." He closed the book and closed his eyes, ready to throw it out.

Caleb looked away, then said, "You can talk to him if you want. He listens to you. He loves you more than anyone else i the world, and wants for you to be happy. I can't talk to him about it, but you could." He started to turn and leave, feeling weak from being around Phoebe, and needing a rest.

"Why does she keep yelling that?" Hypatia asked aloud, and just then the minotaur disappeared. "Come on, Clara, let's go back to the doctor, kay?" Hypatia said, offering her hand for Clara.

"He seems pretty... Intimidatin'. I ain't sure he likes me much. Which ya know, I don't blame 'im, but ah... If he took ya in, Clone, I bet he's a swell guy." Clayton took a swig of his drink, then said, "Ya know, I got some friends who don't really got parents, either. There's a HUGE orphan population in Nooyurk."

Clara frowned when 'Bull' disappeared, wondering if that meant he was done playing hide and seek. Or maybe he went to play with someone else? She looked up at Hypatia when she took her hand. nodding in response to her words. She wondered if maybe Jeremy would understand what she was talking about. She hoped so! Jeremy was nice and seemed to understand her a lot of the time. Unlike a lot of people she had met in her life.



Clone frowned when he mentioned the huge orphan population. It made her sad... She then gave a small smile, trying to lift the sad atmosphere, "I see..." She started, "Well, I'm sure Grizzler will like you once he gets to know you." She said, her striped tail twitching a bit. She kept thinking about those orphans though... She herself was lucky to be adopted, but most orphans are turned away, treated like useless trash. In her mind, everyone should be treated fairly...
