biggrin My Mom & Dad are coming out here to visit, so I'm sure I'll have a good weekend!
Do you have the same Easter traditions in the UK? Do you have Easter egg hunts for the kids & make 'em baskets with chocolate rabbits & jelly beans & those atrocious marshmellow Peeps?

you know we don't do much for Easter over here at all.
i was suprised last year when i heard of the activities my American friends were getting up to.
Here it's a long weekend for most people (not me though crying ) and many go away for the weekend, and there are many family get togethers.
but it's more round Mum's for Sunday lunch than anything aimed at amusing the kids.
Maybe because all the kids are interested in doing it stuffing as many Easter eggs down their gullets as they can possibly manage rolleyes

I have fond memories of helping to color the eggs the day before, dipping them in dyes. Then on Easter morning I would be all over the house, peering into every nook & cranny for eggs & plastic eggs with jelly beans inside. Somewhere my basket would be waiting too, with a chocolate bunny in it.
It's so cute watching tiny toddlers dressed in their Easter best on an egg hunt in the yard when the weather is warm & dry, little baskets in their hands & so triumphant & delighted when they come across those treasures in the grass! blaugh
