X-Yami-no-Ko-X Oi. Got insanely busy the past couple days. Had to elder sit the past couple days. And the day I didn't I was over at Zane's with his mom and we were working on a thank you card to give to the women that interviewed me. Probably won't be back until like really late Sunday night. Gotta elder sit until like who knows how late tonight. Then I've got a funeral to go to tomorrow (Yeah Mom dropped that one on me when we were on the phone yesterday) and then Sunday I'm usually at Zane's. Thought I'd let you guys know. Just take care of yourself in the midst of all of it. Also, who died?

Popping in before bed. CalledTheRaven Just take care of yourself in the midst of all of it. Also, who died? I'm not quite sure what relation he was to me. I just know that he was related on my dad's side of the family. Which is odd since we would do stuff with him all the time when I was younger. They'd come camping sometimes. But mostly it was when they were doing stuff with one of the local animal shelters or the parks that we'd do stuff with them. But then they started cutting back when Buck (their dog) died. He was like the animal shelter's mascot. I still remember the one camping trip. They were taking care of this litter of kittens that still needed their mom but got separated. Buck kinda took over as a surrogate parent. It was amusing to see a full grown German shepherd cleaning itty bitty kittens. They let me bottle feed one the one night.

Funeral was as good as it could be with how bad my mom hates my dad's parents and vice versa. But is it sad that while I'm sitting there I had Sacrilege running through my head?

Probably.
Oh but something I gotta get out. I've been holding it in all day. And its been bursting to get out. And I don't want to tell my mom yet.
So blah blah blah there were issues a couple years ago between my mom and my sister with my dad, his parents, and my step mom (so my mom and sister on one side and the rest on the other). Well I finally got a letter from my sister Tuesday and I was rereading it this morning when I finally sat down to reply to her letter. And on the back where it started getting hard to read her hand writing she was saying how she was reading this one section in that My Daily Bread thing from church and it was talking about dads. And she said how she wanted to show Dad what she's becoming and wants him to be proud of her. Like she's finally forgiven him for moving and wants him to be a part of her life again. I hope that's what she means by that. At least that's what I got from it.

Its as adorable as you make it be cat_whee
I almost thought she wasn't going to actually write me back at all because it seemed like the only letters she was sending were to Mom and her boyfriend. Even when Mom wasn't sending anything. cat_talk2hand Her boyfriend thinks we're the only three sending her anything. So I started feeling a bit guilty that it took me like two weeks to start sending her letters.

I think sometimes that's hard to avoid. That's mostly what's discussed and what it seems like the majority is interested in.
