Apparently after they finished building our house, when I called and asked to have the fiber line buried the guy who was supposed to do it said he did. So when that came up this morning when the tech was here they emergency sent people out to re-run the line and scheduled a trenching for it today or tomorrow. If not done by tomorrow I am supposed to call the local manager about it.
So feeling pretty good today.

No but when you tell the person on the other line it knocked your phone out as well and when they ask who it is through and you tell them "not AT&T" they tend to move a little faster since they don't want another provider coming out and ******** with their lines.

It works when you are dealing with something that goes to a box. Just make sure they do not have a monopoly in your area so you don't look like an idiot.

It sucks cause in my current apartment we can only pay for Charter instead of Verizon due to something about Verizon not having lines here, though I have a good feeling the apartment cut a deal with Charter somewhere to make them have the sole possession over the apartment. Charter's internet is sucky and tend to go out at the most inappropriate times.

Yeah our last apartment had some stupid internet that was owned by the apartment and was way oversold. We paid 50 a month for 4 megs down .5 up and we were lucky to see .35 of that at any given time. Eventually I just called AT&T and had DSL hooked up after opening the box outside and connecting our phone line from the s**t the apartment had.

Went looking through some old folders last night on an external I found in a closet and found my original Doji profile from 2003. Look at this ******** s**t.
