 Landis and Renka "Hm, everyone's different....guess that girl likes the quiet type..or green hair or whatever about him she liked." Renka shrugged, listening as Ariel mused about what they should do about Kaden. He didn't think Kaden thought too highly of him so that was one negative along with the fact that he didn't like her pirate friends.
He waited as Aeril went ahead and told Kaden about their plans, sort of hoping the shapeshifter wouldn't come...or at least not turn this into a tense event instead of fun. Renka slowly nodded, "Yeah...or I could just tell him to forget it...not that hungry anyway."
The reaper knew that for some reason young humans didn't like vegetables....still..running away from people because they spoke of one was strange. He tilted his head slightly, "Asparagus? Well..nevermind that. Shin-Ra is a group of bad people so it is good that you ran. Avalanche people and their friends help people." he explained in the simplest way he knew.

Landis and Renka Renka laughed a bit at that thought, "Nah, if she had ill intent we would have felt it." he held back from saying anything about what they would have done if she was an enemy. He smiled and stepped toward the entrance of the building, "I'm fine, Landis mostly used that as an excuse to leave your smile lesson." he chuckled out.
People in white doing thing to ...ah..experiments. Maybe..he wasn't the best with children pronunciation. Her mother was a scientist then? It was possible that the child was the product of an experiment, considering his own family...all of his siblings were born from father's experiments. It wasn't possible to return her to her mother if her mother's location was unknown though..why of all being there did the child have to come to him? Landis sighed lightly...what was it would Renka say. "The people here don't experiment on anyone.... What is your name child?"

"Oh, okay..hee,hee. Nothing get's passed you huh? Just like Kaden.." Or all Serenitians for that matter! Ariel started to follow after him, but then stopped quickly, as Renka was near the entrance of the building, she rushed over to give Kaden a quick hug, and little kiss so he didn't feel left out for whatever reason. She knew Kaden so well, he would probably feel left out if he wasn't angry. She just wanted to make sure he wasn't.. Then, letting him go again Ariel walked back to follow Renka. "Should I just wait here for you or do you think it might take a bit when you tell him? "
 (( ooc: Man. Some plane just crashed into the Super Stition Mountains down here. Apparently they didn't see the top of the mountain and when they did, they tried to power up to clime up but it was to late. From what they are saying it's not a commercial airline or passenger airliner. There still trying to figure out since they can't really even get to it yet or see for that matter. So sad, right before Thanksgiving.. Gotta say some prayers for those family's. ))

"I... Couldn't save her... I let her die once... But... Kaden Wolve I promise you, this time I'll make things right..."  "You are my life... And my happiness... Without you... I am nothing..." Kaden hadn't listened to any of Ariel and Renka's conversation because he had been distracted by something else. A certain presenece he was feeling, and trying to pinpoint, one he wasn't exactly thrilled to feel. That was when Ariel's words broke his concentration, directed at him. His eyes snapped open, but then he shut them slightly, as his vision blurred a bit as they had to get used to the sun for a moment, but soon he opened them fully. "..." His eyes narrowed a bit towards Renka. God he hated him, mostly for the growing suspiscion he had feelings for Ariel, and it may be mutual. But if it was that strong surely they couldn't hide it from him, right? His eyes then went back to Ariel. "Why is it you enjoy his company so much more than mine?" Jelousy acting up. Now Kaden wasn't exactly the jelous type, but everytime Ariel saw this guy she wanted to run off with him to some strange location to do a less than normal activity. "I was sort've hoping we could go on that date we haven't gotten to go on ever since we made plans to months ago, but if you like him better I'm not going to decide for you." He then just turned around, his black wings extending from his back as he started into the air. Since she had so much more fun with him apperently, why should he intrude on their fun? "Without you... I'll waste away, I'll eat away at myself until I become nothing more then an empty shell of a person, just waiting for its death... That's why I.... Need you..."

Landis and Renka Renka grinned and watched Ariel...letting his grin fade a bit as she hugged and kissed Kaden. He felt a bit of..what was that again? Envy? Something like that.. he didn't have someone like that, not here anyway...or alive for that matter. His grin grew again in a second, "Eh, just come along so some bird doesn't snatch you away while I'm not looking." he joked..though who knew, it could happen. Kaden distracted him though, did Ariel really enjoying being around him more then Kaden? He didn't exactly want them to fight because of a misunderstanding..but it was up to Ariel. Still, maybe sometime he and Kaden should talk and clear up a few things.
Again the reaper sighed lightly as he saw the child shake her head. "I meant the people here, in this building, don't do experiments. It's safe here." he nodded after she told him her name, "I'm Landis." As for her raising her hands and saying up, Landis sort of just stared for a moment. The only thing he ever held or carried was his scythe or occasionally Renka to fly somewhere, never before has a human even asked to be held by him. Landis didn't really want to either, she was able to stand after all.. He ended up gently holding one of her hands.
((wow....that's bad...but yeah..news like that..then picturing Landis holding a kid...plus sugar. laughter wins.))

Ariel turned from Renka, glancing back to Kaden as she heard him speak. Her eyes widened in surprise to his sudden question. Why would he say something like that? "Renka is my friend...I haven't seen him in months, Is that so horrible? " She could detect the jelousy in his voice, which was a little insulting to her! She was in no way a cheater, she loved Renka as a dear friend just as she did any other friend. She never saw this as a bad thing or wrong to want to spend time with him. Every time she wanted to see Kaden, she couldn't exactly find him due to her not being able to sense like Serenitians. After all, she -had- been asking advice of her mother of nice places to go to where she could go with Kaden for a date. So, it wasn't like she just ignored him or never thought of him! As he started to take to the sky, Ariel frowned up at him..."That's really harsh..To think that way of me.." She said quietly in just about a whisper. Now, she wasn't sure what to do. If she went she would end up feeling guilty which would just kill all her attempts of having a good time for once. This whole thing wasn't just for her to have fun, it was also for Renka. Lord knows he also has one hard life and no real fun in it at -all-. She thought that if they all went together how much fun they would have, and camp out at night with whatever food they could find, just enjoy a peaceful beautiful island of pure nature..no fighting or enemy's.."I enjoy his company just as I do yours...but you know it isn't easy to even find you..We rarely even see one another, so I think if you really want to spend time together, come with us..."

Inodoro tightened his robe over the lower part of his face and walked across the drawbridge. Places like these were bigger than his comfort zone could handle. Inodoro's eyes dashed across the walls, unsure of whether to feel safe or not. " Roomy, isn't it?"

Landis and Renka Right now Renka was a bit mad at Kaden...it wasn't like exploring places was romantic or something...plus acting like that was like saying he didn't trust her. He still held his tongue, mostly so Ariel wouldn't hear the brief string of profanities that he would have said to Kaden. Back home romance wasn't really encouraged, especially with humans, but ladies were to be treated with respect. After a moment of thinking he looked up at Kaden again, "Kaden, wait I wish to speak to you..on the roof." he called up at him, glancing at Ariel and smiling before looking back to see if Kaden heard..or would respond.
Why were humans so...clingy....needy? The young cling to their elders, years later to 'friends' and finally to mates. Was there something in them that made them unable to be alone? In any case it seemed Meribelle wasn't going to be denied easily..as much as he didn't want to hold her, he didn't want the other humans here to get agitated if further refusal made her cry. "....very well." he mumbled and bend down to pick her as he's seen humans do. "Happy?" he asked. Resorting to making a human happy to keep peace...that's how low the reaper has fallen.
