Kuro wrapped the blanket around her and him, making her stay close as he wrapped his arms around her. He forgave her, but that explanation just drained his energy. So he rested his head on her shoulder, nuzzling her neck softly before going back to sleep.

Madden leaned back with Kuro, and fell asleep as well. This was all just too much...

In the morning, Kuro was still curled up to Madden, each comforting the other in their sleep. He smiled softly and gently laid her down, tucking her in.
Shiro woke up from a night he'd define as heaven. He yawned and sat up, getting out of bed. He slipped some pants on and headed onto the balcony and looked out over the waking village. Soon it would be decorated for their wedding. and it will be magnificent.

As Kuro laid her down, Madden latched onto his arm, like a child with a teddy bear it refused to let go of. Even in her sleep, she was scared for him and scared for herself.
Maria was still fast asleep, and she curled up in the warm spot Shiro had just occupied, a smile on her face. She didn't even care that right about now, people would be figuring out she was gone. Again.

Kuro was a bit surprised when she latched onto his arm, but he only smiled. He let her cling to his arm, hoping it helped her sleep.
Shiro glanced back at Maria and smiled. She looked so peaceful. He quietly went over to the bed and kissed her forehead. She was so beautiful, and hopefully he'd be able to keep her.

When Madden woke up, still clinging to Kuro's arm, she yawned, stretched, and caught sight of the ring on her finger. She remembered the proposal, and smiled. Then she remembered the problems they'd faced through the night and she frowned. Turning, she put her hand on Kuro's. "We should talk, now."
Maria shifted in her sleep after Shiro kissed her forehead, and then she blinked her eyes opened, yawning into her hand. "Morning," she whispered sleepily, smiling at Shiro.

Kuro looked to her and sighed, nodding a little.
Shiro smiled more when Maria began to wake up. "Morning."

Madden took Kuro's hands in hers, holding them tightly and looking up at him for his explanation. Though she wanted to know what had happened, she still wanted him to know she loved him.
Maria leaned up and kissed Shiro softly then smiled. "Hungry?" she asked.

Kuro sighed once more before beginning his explanation. And what a lengthy explanation it was. It drained Kuro mentally to talk about this. But he gave her every detail.
Shiro returned the kiss and nodded. "Famished." he replied, smiling.

Madden listened intently, and when she found out exactly what happened with his eye, she gently touched the scars, concern on her face. When he was finished, she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a hug. "That god tricked you, didn't he?" she said softly, sighing. It sure sounded as though the god had done this on purpose, to make Kuro have a tough decision.
Maria laughed a little, before grabbing her dress and slipping back into it. She took Shiro's hand and went downstairs into the kitchen. There was just enough to make the same breakfast she'd done once before, years ago. So she did.

Kuro hugged Madden back as he rested against her. Maybe he had. The prince was clueless, but he just wanted all this over with.
Shiro smiled and let her lead him downstairs to the kitchen. Once the food was done, he smiled and took a bite before sighing contently. "Just as wonderful as I remember."

Madden rubbed Kuro's back, knowing that for as frustrated as she was, this was probably worse for him than for her. "We'll find a way out of this," she whispered softly.
Maria smiled back, grabbing a strawberry out of a bowl and taking a bite. She remembered that if she let it stay out for too long, Shiro would eat it. She smiled a little more.

Kuro nodded some and kept his love close. He didn't want to lose anyone. Especially Madden. She was too precious to him.
Shiro smiled as he finished his meal, watching her eat her strawberry quickly. He chuckled some, remembering the one time he had taken one from her. He then leaned over the table and kissed her, smiling to himself.

Madden kissed Kuro's cheek and pulled away. "What'll cheer you up?"
Maria smiled as well, kissing Shiro back and putting one of her hands on his cheek. Now that she could remember everything, she almost felt as though this were all a dream.

Shiro held the kiss, running his fingers through her hair. Soon he broke it and went around the table. He picked her up and sat in her chair before putting her on his lap. He smiled, then kissed hre once more.
