hmmm i think you should do Numerical analysis...Numbers are always fun.

Numerical Analysis. They'll be changing their views on Human Memory every couple months anyway.

Actually, theories on human memory haven't changed to much and have been getting steadily better, thanks to new methods in EEG scanning. I'm also interested in memory since I think it's related to bigger philosophical questions, and has a better chance of answering those questions than the philosophers ever will.
But yeah I was slightly inclined toward the numerical analysis one just for the fact that it was more computer science related, and I'm not as far along in my math minor as I'd like to be.

Indeed new advances in science had shed some light on human memory. I still think they'll find something game changing in not to long. Just my opinion.

Maybe if an EEG can be made to focus on hundreds of neurons, as opposed to thousands, there will be a new addition to what we know about 'how' the brain works, but it's generally well established how each part of the brain is important to memory, such as the hippocampus being indispensible to memory consolidation, the areas of long term potentiation, etc etc.
Now, if someone suddenly came up with a neuroscientific answer to Chalmers's "hard problem of consciousness" then s**t would get real.

I think you review the Human Memory course and see if it falls into the things you'd like. If it's a philosophical class, or a hard facts sort of biology/etc etc class. I think that if it suits what you're into, it could be useful to have, and numbers can always wait. Numbers never change.
If nothing else, I can daydream that you'll find some way to log the memories of an individual in a method accessible to computers. XD

Pv2 Hensley - Current C2X (Cobra Challenge -Field - Exercise) score:
Confirmed Kills: 23 Critical Wounds: 55 Wounds: 12
Deaths: 1
...I was so pissed off when my squad leader decided to take our SAW gunner out from the nice little, cozy, position he had on my left flank and place him on the far right flank of the line. Thanks squad leader, I was going for a perfect session.
