Tutsumi Hy o.o The 6-6 dice idea was yours, hun. That's why I build that in and gave the oldbies a higher roll chance. Me and Naru agreed to have a base amount of stats that people have to distribute from. Lol. xDD IT just makes it simpler altogether. And I'm not expecting Fenris to fight anyone in a legit battle anywhere here. I'd go too mad with all of the dice rolling that I'd get bored reaaaaally quick. xD It's not my scene. If I bring her, it'll just be to chat and bum around and maybe be that force that leads someone through a place or trial like a guide, but does not contribute really. I seriously don't care to fight. Lawl, Fuji, if you saw how I changed Fenris. She's so peppy and naive; I completely killed off the last of her Mary Sueness from when she was first birthed. I was SOOOOOOO bad back then. xD

I like the base amount of stats, let's not get ALL D&D with the dice-rolling or, rather multi-dice rolling. Gaia's dice roller is not the best (though I understand how it's the only truly fair way to make sure no one is cheating), and having to post too see what you get in the roll makes me think there might be situations where you then have to go and edit your post to reflect your roll before the other can respond and it's all very tedious in the long run.
There's so mjuch talk about dice in different ways that I am getting lost trying to reference what I am talking about neutral Cooking Sherry Lawl, Fuji, if you saw how I changed Fenris. She's so peppy and naive; I completely killed off the last of her Mary Sueness from when she was first birthed. I was SOOOOOOO bad back then. xD We were both bad...together! I mean, it was fun for the most part, just super embarrassing looking back, at least on my stuff sweatdrop

Combat passive, like, and i'm using DnD as a reference since I've been playing it all day, a ranger gets a "favored enemy" when making the ranger initially and whenever they are in combat with said enemy they get a +1 attack/damage against them. Something like that?
Or like combat - grappling, +1 strength when grappling with an opponent.?
Or even combat - long weapon (spear, staff) improvisation, +1 to roll to trip an opponent making him fall prone?

more like the grappling/weapon I guess, yea that favored enemy thing is too specific and we'd have to classify enemy types if we did that
I guess a couple of the passives could be weapon specific when using a staff, one-handed weapon, two-handed weapon, bow have to think more about it, idk what they'd do

xp Know I'm late as always. But still
People will find terrible reminders of how bad they were in the past for just about anything. It's a good sign of progress when you can look back and see just how bad you were and be embarrassed about it.

I still have my first post on Gaia ever subscribed. It's hard to find because it was my account that got hacked, but I still lul over it to this day.
And yeah, I read it. Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.
So, what stats we have agreed on are...
Strength Dexterity Magic Health
And then the two passives I can think of would be...
Instinct (Think of it as reaction as well as knowledge of the land. A more natural and personal passive.) Resistance (Magical or physical; how well you can take a punch. This is a sort of buffer that when you take a hit it lessens the blow. A lot of ******** people can't take a hit, but they sure as Hell can learn.)
What do you think of those two?

oh ok
no, she added magic to it, all I said was physical so, (and these would be separate passives) -intelligence (you're very good at solving puzzles and you're very smart) -speech (you're very good at speechcraft and dealing with people diplomatically) -resistance to physical damage (idk about adding % to either of these) -resistance to magic damage
Instinct... hmm I think that should be something like.. some kind of sensory related passive? kind of like radar, in terms of sensing how many people are in the area, like info gathering idk about the reaction time, that's included in dex kinda, being speedy

So sensing reaction, which generally helps even if you have the opportunity to see it coming. Also, we should probably hurry up and make a final decision and start making this thread. xD We're just nitpicking at this point and things can be changed later too. smile Just alter the profile layout I linked before to have the new stats. Just make sure you have enough for 5 in each stat field, that way someone could be even across the board, or would have to sacrifice something else in order to make something more powerful, etc. So if we have them as the list of passives you contributed and the list of actives, it would be... 8 stats? 9 if you add in instinct (you totally don't need to.) With 8 stats that's be 40 points given for people to have fun with.

I see nono, passives don't have points, they're just in general and separate from stats, and you can only choose two of them when starting out there are only those 4 stats, so it'd be 20 points, but I think 25 is fine
where is the profile you posted, is it a link? I don't see it
