Leon raises his eyebrows. "Huh, never expected that one." On impulse he wraps his arms around Sammy. Noticing that sammy was in his arms he blushes blood red.

Sammy rolled her eyes. "Arceus, it's not that big of a deal. I'm a scientist by nature-- I'm sure I'll have figured something out before the end. Perhaps I'll even be able to assist hybrids everywhere with my discovery..." she muttered, her demeanor seeming to darken at the talk of her demise.

Arekku walks into the main room and mutters, "Awwah, that's almost cute.." He gives a smile to show he's joking and begins to absent-mindedly pet the worn out Zubat in his arms. "Hello Sammy... and new guy."

Leon Obviously embarrassed lets go and puts his hand behind his head. "Yeah, sorry about that" Leon said awkwardly. "And I think you could makes something or do something to help other people like you" He smiles again, trying to lighten the mood.

Sammy gave a swift wave to Arekku, coughing a bit. "Hello there, Arekku. How have you been?" she asked robotically.

"Oh no, by all means, don't mind me!" He said with a laugh, "I'm fine, my back still hurts from getting hit in the back by the Tauros but aside from that I'm all right." Zoey hopped from his arm and began circles over his head, "I was just about to take Zoey out for a bit of training."

Sammy sweatdropped. "A hug is a hug, Arekku; you'd do best to remember that," she commented, her arms wrapped behind her back as she took on a pondering look. It seemed her personality was shifting to a more... intelligent side.

"Oh, Sammy, I was just kidding. Penny for your thoughts?" He spoke after a second after observing her. But Zoey wasn't having it, she flew around behind Arekku and pushed him a little toward the teleporter. "Wanna come?"

Sammy leaned to one side a bit, grasping the couch for leverage. She quickly righted herself and nodded to Arekku. "Let's," she replied, waisting no time in walking out the teleporter and up to the beach. Squirt popped out, bouncing idly in the sand.

"Just a little TRP would hurt too bad... Would you think?" He asked, then he remembered he'd have to leave for a little while soon, "Ehh, acutally on second thought.. I'll be back in a bit..." As Arekku left on a waiting Kenter, Zoey stayed behind one the island. The Zubat flew up into a tree and sat there.

Sammy waved to Arekku as he left, gladly taking the chance to collapse onto the sand and take a deep breath. She took out a make-shift inhaler, sighing deeply afterwards. That felt better. She sat, cuddling Squirt, and pondered what sort of approach she would take to her problem.

In the distant sky, a small speck appeared, growing bigger faster and faster. But... It wasn't flying, it was- "Ack!!! Lookout!!!!" Adam's form crash-landed into the sand infront of Sammy, sending up a cloud of beach into the air.

Sammy hacked and sputtered as sand was kicked into her mouth. She spat it out as quickly as possible, gripping for the safety of the ground. "You really should be more careful," she scolded. Squirt waved to Adam, his ever-cheery attitude never fading.

Adam sat up, spitting out sand and running his hands through his hair. "Gack! Sorry... Don't know what happened there..." He said, getting out of his mini crater and sitting next to Sammy. "What are you doing out here?"

Sammy thought out her answer carefully, trying not to give away her condition. "Contemplating," she said simply, sighing a bit. "And what about you? Why are you out here?" she shot back, suspicious of his reason. She'd become untrusting and uncooperative for her own safety.
