"I can see you really get off on this, don't you Syn."

-He smirked a bit, a little nervous about the details, but even more from the expression that Syn had on.-

I do believe ya, Syn.

Syn's words would have scared her if she did not know this side of the crazy woman. Yes her mind was sharp but it tended to wander into things that best be left alone from her past. Shivvering she smiled at Syn, seeing some of the humor twinkle in her eyes but also something else that she would not mistake for fear.

Deciding to catch up on some much needed sleep from the earlier tramma of flying debris, she gave her regards to the rest of the crew above deck and retreated to her bunk...

*Returns back to the main deck and focuses his attention on everyone*

I've been thinking, a full moon is almost about, I think, and with a full moon, comes tides, and with tides comes waves and with waves comes pushing ships around; and tides usaully head inland. So if the wind isnt being just a harlot and only keeping us goin for now then maybe..., hmmm.

Anywho, whats your thoughs all of ye?

(|Continued from Wardroom|)

*Coming on deck, Jack gazes about the small ship. It had fine lines to be sure, but her beauty was of little consequence, seeing as how she laid in shambles. Pering about in the darkness, Jack could make out the dark figure that was quite obviously the 'Boadicea', the firgate that Doctor Baxter had mentioned. Listening to the happenings forward, Jack paced down the quartersteps as the Bosun before him stood there rambling, his words almost entirely incoherant. Attempting to over hear the conversation, he could almost make out the bosun's speech: something having to do with tides and the moon.. something to the effect of running the ship aground.

Walking up behind the man, he raised his eyebrowl. Placing a hand on the mans shoulder, he patted the bosun's back and laughed*

"I'm no expert, but I don't think that the 'Boadicea' is going to follow us into the shoals. I'm sure her captain has enough common sense as to avoid having his bottom ripped to ribbons. No: If you ran inshore amongst those breakers and shallows, the frigate would stand off, corner you into a cove or against the leeshore and batter you with her long guns until there was nothing left."

*Walking to the larboard rail, he placed his hands upon her firmly and breathed deep the cold, salty sea air. Looking into the vastness of the ocean before them, he though of his current situation, and awaited the crews replies.*

Well then, I guess that idea is out of the question. I knew it was a risk, but not that much of a risk. I rather not be a prisoner of them...

*Appears leaning against the mast as if he had always been ther. Listening in on what conversations he can, he gathers bits and peices of what's been happpening while he was away.*

"Indeed, they seem to have us by the hip - a damned tight spot - between a rock and a hard place.
But, we might escape yet."

*As he spoke, a smile and a look of enlightenment overcame his furrowed face. It was obvious taht either wit or a marvelous idea had struck his brain.*

"The charts. I need to see the charts. Might there be a port nearby that we may take refuge in?
Is England at war with France still?"

The captain had managed to gain a bit of ground on the injured doctor, so Dr. Morgan emerged to see Kurisutofa seemingly back in his element, but the request for charts and the question of war were enough to convince him that the man's mind was still not in the present day.

He stayed as close to Kurisutofa as possible, keeping an eye on him while letting him aquire his bearings on his own. He figured the more the captain's mind was stimulated, the better the chance that he'd find something to make him remember everything. On this ship there would have to be something to bring his memory back.

*Smirks at the Captain's remark*

Even though he last his memory, he still is with great ambition; we might be outta this yet.

No sir, they're not at war anymore. Napoleon lost atfer being returning from being exciled. Dont you remember waterloo?

Well then, recap; Napoleon got to full of himself and took on Russia; they in turn burnt all crops and livestock so that his army wouldnt make it to Moscow, and they didnt, so then he was exciled, returned, regather, redeafed, by the English that time.

*Pulls some charts he keep at hand from the Captains quarters*

Here you go sir.

"My God... Old Boney is finished is he? I do hope they put him to his own murder machine. That guillitine, I mean. What a dreadful device - Oh, thank you, sir."

*Taking the charts from the bosun, he laid them out over the forehatch. Lying belaying pins atop of the charts so as to not let them fly away, he scanned over the charts. Searching through his pockets...*

"If I were me, where would I keep that damned glass...
I always was one to loose track of that instrument..."

*Smirking, he found a bulge in the depths of his coat pocket. Pulling out the small chart-glass, he placed it on teh charts, bent low over them and peered through it. Everything was now much easier to read.*

"Hmmm... let's see here."

*walks over to the group that surrounds the charts, to try and get more info on the situation*

Baxter inhaled deeply as he emerged from below. He had been in the Wardroom for several days with little sleep as he carefully tended to the Captain's condition. Observing his surroundings, he noticed Gibraltor was long behind them, but looming off of the horizon behind the Lady, the Bodicea remained. With his bag slung over his shoulder, Reginald began moving from crewmember to crewmember tending all minor wounds he could until something more was asked of him.
