Ryuu ignored Damien's comment and held onto Miyuki. Damn. I have to get out of here. But that would mean letting Damien win! he growled in fustration, and looked around for a way out. He eyed the door and the window a few feet from him. Maybe...

Damien took another step toward the vampires then stopped. He didn't want to push Ryuu too far and have Miyuki getting killed as a result. He glanced down and gave Miyuki a reassuring smile as if he'd read her thoughts about questioning his actions. He turned to Ryuu and saw his eyes flicker from the door to his face. He's scared. He's looking for a way out. Or maybe he's just starting to understand the situation he has put himself in. A smug smile appeared on his face. "Ryuu, get up and fight me, don't hide behind your hostage. You can go back to whatever you were doing with Miyuki after our fight," he knew the vampires wouldn't like that last comment. He dropped his arm, sword in hand, to his side so he didn't look too intimidating. He expected Ryuu to loose his temper soon and attack him. Though he looked calm on the outside he was alert and tense on the inside.

Miyuki bit her lip, forcing herself not to run to Damien, to scream at him, beat him, but mostly what she wanted to do was hug him, and thank him for not abandoning her. But she smiled, she was sure Damien could win because against her back, she could feel Ryuu's inconsistent heart beat begin to rise.
So she can give you candy when you trick-or-treat.

Ryuu kept a tight hold on Miyuki, and pressed the dagger onto her throat harder. "And what makes you think you're more important to me than Miyuki? Perhaps this is more important to me then soem petty fight an angel deploys out." he sneered. He eyed the window again before turning back to Damien. He could feel his heartbeat slowly rising. Calm down Ryuu. You're going to live. he tried to reassure himself. He took a few slow, deep breaths to slow down his speeding heartbeat.

Damien smiled. "Getting a little anxious, are we?" he raised an eyebrow and false sympathy showed on his face. "You really should learn how to fight instead of hiding behind your hostages." He thought back to the time when Ryuu had held a child hostage. He looked down at Miyuki for a moment as if trying to make a decision on something then he looked back to Ryuu. "Kill the girl, she is of no use to me. Your killing her will only make my life that much easier," his face held no emotion.

Miyuki winced, the blade slicing the skin on her neck slightly, the pain was not as bad as Damien's words. Although from his smile earlier she was sure he was trying to save her life, it had felt like a slap in the face as he spoke. She bit her lip so hard it bled, as she tried not to scream at him, she knew it would only cause her death if she did.
So she can give you candy when you trick-or-treat.

Ryuu shifted his position to a better angle for the window, causing his blade to dig deeper into Miyuki's wound. "And who ever said I'd kill her?" he asked, "you just assumed that." he shrugged. "Either way, I did not accept your fight, so I am not 'cowarding behind a hostage'." He eyed the window once again before returning his attention to the angel. He sneered in disgust as he scanned the angel's form.

Damien walked around Ryuu and Miyuki so tha the placed himself between the window and Ryuu. "Then what will you do with her?" he eyed Miyuki then looked back to Ryuu and looked for a weak spot in his posture. He could easily knock Ryuu off balance with a single kick to his torso. But that would probably give him enough time kill Miyuki. He didn't know what to do to help Miyuki so he stood and waited for Ryuu to make a move.

Miyuki whined slightly, the blade still being inside the wound she could not heal and the blade was getting closer and closer to cutting through her windpipe. Slowly her arm began to lose circulation again, and she accidentally dropped the dagger which landed with a thud on the floor between her and the angel.
So she can give you candy when you trick-or-treat.

Ryuu ignored the dropped blade, and shifted his postition to face Damien. "And why should I tell you?" Ryuu sneered in disgust. He forced Miyuki to turn around as well by pressing the blade harder against her neck. He turned his head slightly, and eyed the door before stapping his attention back to Damien. His face remained pain, showing no emotion as he stood defiantly against the angel.

Damien's head snapped toward the direction of the loud sound. Just a dagger he told himself. He looked back at Ryuu and watched him. "Do you have a death wish?" he asked in a deadly voice. He crouched down and looked Ryuu in the eye. His sword shined in the light and he smiled confidently at Ryuu. Ryuu seemed sick, maybe he had been foolish enough to drink Miyuki's blood. This would give Alexis an advantage. "I see you've drunken Miyuki's blood," it was a guess but he was almost certain of it.

Ryuu shifted his postition once again, causing the dagger to slipe deeper into Miyuki's wound. He didn't bother to answer Damien, and instead, gave him a taunting, emotionless look. He eyed the door for a brief moment before snapping his attention back to Damien. He shifted once again, trying to keep his aggitation hidden. He slowly started to feel the blood's effect on him, and he knew he wasn't going to last a fight for too long. He glared at Damien. "Do you want the girl or not?" he hissed.

Damien winced when the dagger cut deeper into Miyuki's neck. He looked at Ryuu and smiled slyly. "And if I wanted her, would you hand her over to me?" he raised an eyebrow. He scanned Miyuki's wound for a moment then looked back to Ryuu with a frown. "If you're going to run, I suggest you run now. You're going to faint sooner or later."
