Arya laughed merrily at that, oh sterotypical jokes were so funy despite themselves. "I better not have to. But if you continue not sleeping I might hm?" She teased, her eyes glancing up to him even if her head didn't move as he rested his upon hers. She always felt so comforted like this with him, inwardly smirking as she felt her brother poking around in her head. "Don't bother me right now, I'm in a very good mood. Unless you came to tell me anything that'll only make it better, then you may tell me now, otherwise, tell me later." She told Malachai telepathically so he would stop, closing her eyes as he answered.
"They agreed not to send Jarrod in, they will find someone else and instead cooperate with Jarrod at a 2nd location away from the raid to do what they wish. Have fun sis."
That news certainly made her smile widen on her lips. "well I certainly don't have to worry about you sneaking behind my back to take Jarrod's place. They won't send him in." She murmured with a happy sigh, shifting ever so slightly how she leaned against him, not noticing the couple of feathers that fell from her real wing.

[[sorry, my computer has mostly stopped working, but for a little while my sister managed to get it on... but as my signature says, I'm getting a new computer in December, so that will be waaaay better...]]
Alethea only talked with the researcher for a little while longer and then broke away. She went to sit down at the edge of the clearing to watch some of the fights among the marines, trying to get far enough away so that she could see how they really acted. She didn't have long though before she noticed a stirring in the air and then more wind, Arya. She was very angered, but far enough away that Alethea could do nothing. She sighed and looked back on the marines. She did wonder about the other girl, Priya, Alethea hadn't had much time to think about it, but the girl had some kind of shield or something... She could not feel her emotions at all, and from that she knew she had no affect on her. She found it odd only because she had never met a single soul who's emotions she could not read. Interesting,if only more people were like that...
[[yeah, I'm tired it's past 1:30 in the morning, I've got nothing for Tanya....]]

Kai noticed Ayra's feathers falling and frowned. Appearently he wasn't the only one being stretched beyond their limits. "Darn. I was hoping I cuold play this James Bond I've been hearing so much about from the humans." He joked, shifting so that she was more comfotable as she leaned against him. Kai kissed the top of her head. He didn't know why he did it, only that it felt right to do so.

(( It's fine, I just hope things work out and stuff. ^_^ ))
Priya glanced over to Jessica whom was reading the reports given in by the angels, also noting how Alethea had moved away for the most part from everyone. At least everyone seemed to be in a relatively good mood, especially their head researcher. She wondered what had happened to make it so, though it wasn't like she was complaining. She had found it rare to find someone so content as Jessica with where they were and what they were doing.
Arya could feel the slight twinge between her back, how she wasn't quite as much herself as she normally felt if that made any kind of sense. Dammit, let me keep my time! She wished in her head as she laughed at his joke. "No, you can't for now. Though we do have those cool gadgets." She chuckled, a brief, but faint blush rising to her cheeks when she felt him kiss the top of her head. It felt like a warmth spread throughout her head and then body, making her heart flutter.
That was when old worry and fear rose up in her chest, her hand finding his quickly to give it a small squeeze, trying to not make the gesture seem desperate or anything of the sort. She knew she should tell him, but she was worried of what he might do if she did, what it would do to the two of them. And Malachai wouldn't say anything either because it should be her to tell him what the loss of her feathers meant. I'm sorry Kai, forgive me for my cowardice.... She closed her eyes and pressed her face into his chest, curling up closer against him for the comfort that he gave her with his presence.

And now he'd gone and upset her again. Kai wrapped his arms around Ayra. "Shhhhhh... I could never stay angry with you." he murmured, his hands rubbing her back in comfort. " Kai kissed the top of Ayra's head again. "You're to cute." he joked, pulling away so that he could look her in the face. Kai lifted her face up so that he could look Ayra in the eyes. "And you are not a coward Ayra... You've never been one to shy away from anything."

Arya let her wings wrap around them both again, closing her eyes as she felt his hands, heard his words. The corners of her mouth tilted up ever so slightly at that, her eyes being the last thing to raise when he tilted her face up. Her smile grew a little sad, shaking her head as she brushed a stray hair from his face. "There are a few things I shy away from." She murmured, her wings suddenly vanishing from view, but not fast enough to hide the feathers that fell. She caught one feather and looked at it before returning her gaze to his. "Things I haven't told you, one being the consequence of another. The reason to not say one is to save us both from pain, and the other is to save you and anyone else that cares for me from another pain." She kept her voice calm despite how she knew it wanted to break, the feather dissipating into tiny balls of light before vanishing completely. She watched him for a reaction, she knew that he would probably want to know what she meant by that if he couldn't extrapolate it himself.

"I trust you Ayra." Kai stated, lightly brushing his fingers down her cheek. "You'll tell me when you're ready." he added, taking in the feathers as they flew from Ayra's wing again.

Arya was quiet for a moment, a hand touching his wrist as she turned her gaze up to him from the feathers he had taken in his hand. "I don't know if I'll ever get anywhere close to the nerv necessary to say anything though Kai. I've already admitted to it, I should just finish it." She said softly, it would be better for both of them if she didn't hold back. She understood this, hating the fact she was making a scene. god this seems like a soap opera the humans have....
"I love you Kai. I have for a while now. The reason I haven't said anything beforehand is because of something only my brother and I were told by the council. It's related to how I keep losing feathers. You know thats not a good thing for an Angel." She knew her cheeks had grown warm, which meant she was blushing, taking a shuddering breath to keep herself calm, glancing up to him before lowering her eyes again. "In my case.... it means I'm dying. That this vessel for my soul is drawing to a close. But they've reincarnated me before, so it shouldn't be a problem right?" She gave an ironic chuckle, biting her lower lip as a tear rolled down her cheek. "They don't know if they can revive me again because of all thats happening. Usually they consult the Goddess, but she hasn't been answering. So it would seem I won't be able to stay any longer than I have." She told him, keeping her eyes lowered since she was afraid to see what his expression would be. She hadn't realized how much her heart was pounding until that moment, folding her hands in her lap to hide how they trembled. "I know, it's silly of me not to say anything before right? Try and treasure what time is left. I'm sorry..."

About time! Kai took Ayra's face in his hands and kissed her. When he finally pulled back, he leaned he's forehead against hers. "I guess we need to make the most of the time we have left then, huh?" Kai's mind whirled, he was more then estatic that she loved him but he was bound and determined to find a way to bring her back. He finally had her and he wasn't about to lose her know.

Arya's widened with surprise at the suddenness of the kiss and how he didn't seem as worried as her about what little time they did have. But her eyes closed as she kissed him back, her arms sliding around his neck. She felt a couple of tears roll down her cheek as their foreheads touched, her hair falling in front of her shoulders, inwardly wincing at a pain that shot throughout her back to the rest of her body. Please allow me more time... I beg you. She smiled faintly at what he said, giving a small nod, "Indeed we do." She murmured, touching her nose lightly to his. "The council may not help us as willingly as before because of how my conduct was earlier today. Malachai has been searching on his own and has been unsuccessful. He can't contact our Mother Goddess either... They need her help in order for me to retain all memory and knowledge that I have experienced until the time I have died again." Which is much now... She thought, wincing again at the pain in her wing.

Kai wiped away Ayra's tears and felt her wince in pain. He ran a hand lightly over her back, creating a cold-hot pad of air to help ease her pain. "Looks like I have a new job then." he stated. Kai smiled at Ayra. "I have to make your memories worth getting back..." Kai kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her.

Arya glanced behind her as she felt the odd sensation on her back and the pain fade away for the most part, turning her hazel eyes up to him. Her smile widened, one last tear trickling down her face as she deepened the kiss a little, her arms tightening around him. She was loosening up, so to speak, with her worries, instead getting to actually enjoy and feel excited at how things were turning out. How what she had wanted had happened, someone she had missed dearly had returned... all of the good things were what she focused on at this moment amidst the warmth that spilled through her veins from the kiss.

Kai didn't want the kiss to end... But when it finally did he didn't move back from Ayra. His arms wrapped around her, high above the ground, he just enjoyed being close to her. Kai would do anything for her... He'd fight for her...

Arya felt a playful, warm breeze twirl around them before it flew out to spread the emotions it conveyed. She was happier than she had been in a long time, the moment not taking enough time before they pulled away. She rested against him as he held her close, her arms sliding around his waist, closing her eyes in content. But then something felt off in the air, a sort of buzzing, tingling sensation. "Kai..." She knew this sensation from before and it made her worried. This was what it felt like before their Goddess had intervened a year ago. Whats going on? A beam of light shot out from across the sky, shooting past them in the trees to the human encampment. s**t
Priya felt something was off as well, glancing up in time to see the streak of brilliant white light coming towards them. She heard a voice in her head, and then she suddenly wasn't there anymore, she was somewhere else. Somewhere no one else could get to unless invited. She looked up to the dias in front of her, and bowed, not in the least bit afraid of what had just happened.
Jessica had been checking over the last report when she heard a shout come from someone, startling a little at the sight. But she also saw how it affected the fairies they were examining, how they had grown still and almost seemed afraid. Then she noticed where the beam was heading. "Priya!" She shouted, but she was gone. What the hell was that?! Where did it take her? She looked around even if she knew it was rather futile, it was fairly obvious she wouldn't be there anymore. She didn't see scorch marks on the ground so it was probable she wasn't dead. She wanted to go over to any of them that were from this planet and demand to know what that was, but being upset with them wouldn't solve anything. So instead she decided to find two people who she knew could give some sort of explanation. Walking off to the tree line, she didn't know where exactly they were, but she knew it probably wouldn't take long. "KAI! ARYA!" She shouted when she got there, trying to not make her voice sound sharp as she walked along the tree line, repeating their names until she would get a response.
Natasya felt what Arya had felt, and instantly froze, her hand tightening in Sherad's. Is it happening again? She glanced around at the others, were they as afraid as she? She had seen some pretty bad results that had happened due to the cataclysm a year ago. But no, it wasn't anything like that. She watched as Priya was caught in the beam that vanished as quickly as the beam itself had arrived, leaving only empty space where the researcher had been. The Mother Goddess wishes to see her? But normally she talks through the angels... Whats happening? She glanced up to Sherad and then pressed herself close to his chest, her mind still awhirl with confusion.

Kai's hair rose as he felt the buzz in the air. Giving Ayra one last hug, he slide off the branch and landed lightly on the ground. Kai's shoulders tensed, he didn't know what the Mother Goddess wanted but last time it hadn't turned out so well...
