Shiro looked to her as she questioned him about going back to the castle. The raven thought a bit and sighed, cuddling back up to her. "If... If you want me to."

Maria smiled a little and kissed his cheek. "You might not get away with skipping Potions anymore. Then again, Anya's a lot happier now that she's engaged."

Shiro nodded some and led her to a couch where they could relax more. Once he sat down, he pulled Maria on his lap. "Then let's relax."

Maria curled against Shiro's chest, resting her head on his shoulder. She wasn't tired, having just woken up, but it was nice to relax with him, like he said.

Shiro smiled and held her, gently stroking her back. She seemed so sweet once that miserable exterior was dropped. She seemed.... perfect for him. Sweet, soft, but still rather strict. And she would always be there for him. A dream of his come true.
