I'd just got Bud right now. It's in the bottle though so it's pretty alright.
I like all those alt types of beer, but they're kinda hard to come by. Or at least, to actually get an alternative beer that isn't just like an existing beer line but altered in flavor or whatever. Pale BLAH isn't the same as like a blonde made by a small brewery or something.

King Bug Hahahahahahahaha I think a lot of people in the GTB know that feeling. It seems to be a bit of a recurring thing. Selini has been a good sport, so I've been fairly lucky. It doesn't seem like other people have been having much fun though. Sigil/Fierach seems to be running aground, and then Molestia's opponent just straight up quit. Until the judging system rewards players for role play habits that contribute to making their fights fun, not just for the judges but also for the opponents, 90% of the GTB fights will be awful. Me and you had a great fight, but obviously based on how Vintrict judged that fight, Vintrict doesn't give a s**t about good RP. And so with that being what it is, most of the fights will suck because they don't need to be any good.

Nah. It's a people thing, not a GTB thing, though the profile grading process does need to be more standardized.
The evidence is... well... the people that are getting along/getting through their fights without any problems. If you work at it and have the right attitude it will work. If you don't, well, it will be plagued by problems. There's a certain amount of needing to click, to.
Like... I'm fighting Kuro in HoH, and he and I just don't click. So we've defaulted to the Judge calls once already, and that's HoH Finals, which is supposed to be the best tournament on Gaia. It doesn't matter how tight the rules are if the people can't make it work.

Because for me, whenever I RP I do so not only for the purpose of entertaining myself and getting my character elevated to the next round, but I also do so to entertain my opponent, the judges and to make sure everyone has a good time. The trick is doing so and trying to win at the same time, balancing those two things out. Which can be done. i just think its up to the tournament to reward and punish the behaviors which disrupt that balance. There are behaviors in role play that directly lead to those bad fights. Though I can't disagree with you. Some times two people just don't work but I think thats less because of inherent incompatibility and more so because one or both of those people are doing things wrong as far as conducting the fight.

Too bad sailboats can't talk.
This is probably the only window of opportunity for a seamen joke anyone is gonna see for a while, but I'm just too lazy to make it.

This honey brown lager is one of the only beers that tastes good when it's not quite chilled or even a little warm.

Well that was disappointing, but honestly expected. Not sure a one turn expenditure of power could create enough force to directly counter an attack which spent two turns gathering energy. But eh, what the heck.

Trying to enjoy my fight regardless, I would hope that eventually it would comeback in grading. But if not I am trying to have fun this round.
