Shiro looked to his plate and nodded. He gave her cheek a kiss before going to his food and beginning to eat. Her food was always so good and it filled him up quick. That and it gave him a content feeling, making him less prone to eat.

Maria smiled as Shiro took the food and started eating. Her mother had lost the taste for food when they'd been moving around so much. Sure, soul stealers didn't need food, but Maria had always enjoyed the taste. So, she'd learned how to cook once while they were living in a larger city. But after moving to Mesilici, where a full kitchen served everybody, she found she had no need for cooking. Maybe that was part of her misery there...

Shiro enjoyed his food until he finished. He then put his dirty dishes away before hugging Maria again. "You need to start cooking for the school."

Maria wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "No way. My cousin's husband does, and he's always there. He smells like flour most of the time--granted, he's a baker--and I don't exactly get along with people."

Shiro laughed softly at what she said. "Well then, please be my personal cook." he asked, kissing her cheek and holding her close to him.

Maria smiled a little and took a bite of one of the strawberries from her bowl. "I'll think about it," she teased.

Shiro pouted cutely before kissing her cheek again. He then took a strawberry from the bowl and bit into it, smiling at the girl.

Maria smiled as Shiro pouted. It was pretty adorable. She glanced at the empty plates, and pulled herself from his arms and put them in the sink, letting them soak. She turned and grabbed another strawberry. They were really good...

Shiro watched as she took their plates and put them in the sink. She then picked up another strawberry. But he smirked and ate it out of her hand before she could. It tasted better if it came form her.

Maria stared at Shiro for a moment, then stuck her tongue out at him and grabbed another strawberry, eating it before he could this time and smirking at him triumphantly.

Shiro pouted a little when he couldn't get the next one. But he smirked and pulled her into another kiss. He held the kiss, smiling to himself as he enjoyed it.

Maria kissed Shiro back, wrapping her arms around his neck. She could taste the blueberry syrup and the strawberries.

Shiro held the kiss until they had to break for air. He only smiled down at her, holding her close to him. He relaxed a little with her in his arms, sighing contently.

Maria nuzzled Shiro's neck and sighed, closing her eyes. She really didn't even care if they'd hated each other a couple of days ago. There were just some things (ahem, giant raven demon anyone?) that two people couldn't go through and not be bonded afterwards.
