Fenrir Graveheart Ana Helios Fenrir Graveheart Ana Helios Fenrir Graveheart posted then. So where are we in the game today? What are we working on? What game? Oh wait, I know...you still haven't given me the stories of the stages you suggested so I don't know why somebody would fight there. Well this goes back to what I suggested before, which was that we come to an agreement with the full story of the game before selecting specific areas for the fights, or at least make note of them along the way. So far the only thing you've asked is what stages would fit some of the character's best, which has led me to what the first half of the story should be all about. Lets refresh our memory of how this story begins. A street punk (fenrir) is sent to a Japanese high school that just happens to be famous for its martial art clubs. They're best in the region for wrestling, bushido, karate, ect. And the Karate club tries to be polite by inviting Fenrir into their club. However, he can't follow tournament rules, he's disrespectful, and by the end of the first day he quits, says that fighting for sport is weak, and leaves. The clubs take this dishonor very personally and joins up to fight Fenrir at every turn to the point where going to school is more like going to war. Since he's just one man, Fenrir decides to start a gang made of other street fighters or fighter's who'd been kicked from the clubs, under the goal of beating down these clubs and taking over the school. So, with that in mind whats the first goal? Build the gang. Fenrir has to seek out these fighters and convince them to join his cause, and along the way there'll be encounters with different martial art club leaders as well. Didn't we already agree on this part of the story? Yes, but not how its done or where it goes. So now we need to talk about the sequence in which the fighters are recruited and how they're made to join. Just to save time I'd say the first fighter should be whoever Fenrir happens to be staying with. He is a foreign exchange student after all, so he has to be living with a student family. As to which character that IS, thats up for debate. It could be Angel, since she hasn't contacted me yet about the details of how she wants her character to be. Also to help with your drawing and designing I'm making a modified profile of every character in the game. Look at my workshop in the crew section from time to time to see what I add. Alright, but I hope you know that's eighteen profiles, some of which you know next to nothing about, including Emma. And if you haven't been contacted yet then we have to wait and see before we debate anything, so let's just move on to how [insert name here] was recruited, in a test of strength, blind loyalty, grudge to settle, etc?

Naturally I won't be able to make any of the profiles about characters I didn't personally come up with, so I can only make about half of the roster. Still, it should help. So lets see about this recruiting thing. Each experience should be unique and fun, like its own little adventure. Yet, they should all involve fights and/or be solved through battle. Hmm.... Lets make these profiles first. A full understanding of the characters will help us create the best story, which will then give us our stages.

I like it. My only concern is that the goth lolita look will seem too similar to the Wing Chun street fighter. Maybe I should change her colors or look somehow?

If you want to change it then have at it. Heck, maybe they could even have a fight over their clothing style...unless you really decide on a change of clothing or color. But there isn't something so wrong with being slightly similar, is there?

We're just creating the profiles of our characters for that side project, it's developed every time one of us has free-time.

Shopping in the same mall, in the same section, in the exact same row, reaching for the same pair of clothing...that's a great reason for a battle!

Elise, Emma, Wing Chun girl... I'll think on it and get back to you.

Ana Helios Indeed, I can see it now. Shopping in the same mall, in the same section, in the exact same row, reaching for the same pair of clothing...that's a great reason for a battle! Okay so. Speaking of projects, I am working on one of my own, considering that... well... there are a few people in this guild that don't exactly know the simple basics of combat. I would rather a battle not be just like, OMGSTOPRITENAO because something basic was ignored. So take a look in the Student Handbook at my contribution to the community, and let me know if it's... good, and explains things without being too condescending.
