Kuro got down and smiled, leading Madden into the ruins. He felt the same odd feeling, wondering why he did. This was a completely different temple from a completely different culture. The last one was about love gods. This was about the sun and moon.

Madden caught sight of something glittery, and she let go of Kuro's hand for a moment to investigate. It was a plate that looked like half a sun, with a silver goblet sitting beside it. She figured it had to do with the dedication of the temple.

Kuro looked over at the other side, seeing something shiny as well. He went over to that side, finding a plate that looked like half of a moon along with a goblet of gold. Must be some sort of offerings or something...

Madden tentatively prodded the goblet, and then a bright light shone over the half of the temple she occupied. When she looked around her, her surroundings had become fancier and shinier.

Kuro looked over after the flash of light, seeing her side become shinier. He blinked before turning the plate on his side, the same happening on his side of the temple. He then looked back to Madden before going deeper to investigate things.

Madden tilted her head and ran her fingers over the wall, which suddenly had intricate carvings and painting all over it. There was a story, it seemed, but she couldn't piece it together. It only seemed to show one part of it, where the sun rose and always passed the moon.

Kuro looked along his side as well, but his only told the moon side. The story of a lonely body that yearned for the sun to see it. It was actually kind of sad.

Madden finally got to the end, where the sun could see a light out there that matched its own, but could never reach. She thought that was sad, and she shook her head. This was a little insane...

Kuro walked down his side of the temple, finding the same thing from the moon's point of view. But when bot reached the very back, it showed a solar eclipse. The text of it telling that once every few years, the celestial lovers could be joined. If only for a few moments. But their love would last forever.

Madden reached the tale of the eclipse when Kuro did, too. She smiled a little, glad to see that the moon and sun could sometimes be together.

Kuro smiled as well, then glanced over at Madden. After a moment of taking in her beauty he tapped her on the shoulder. Once she looked, he placed a sweet kiss on her lips.

Madden wrapped her arms around Kuro's neck, kissing him back. As they kissed, the temple darkened, as though the sun were being blocked...

Kuro didn't notice as he continued to hold the kiss with Madden. After a while he released the girl's lips to find that the temple was lightening. "Did it get darker in here?"

Madden chuckled as she gained her breath back, and ruffled Kuro's hair. "Mr. Observant, are we? Yeah, it did. It was almost like....an eclipse." She glanced over her shoulder at the image of the eclipse. This was another coincidence....Right? Right?! She bit her lip and shrugged it off, turning back to Kuro. "Anything else to explore here?" she asked, kind of hoping they could escape and maybe go explore some non-strange ruins.

Kuro shook his head some, leading her back to the carriage. "Let us be on our way, shall we?" he asked with a smile, helping Madden back into the carriage. Once she was comfortable, Kuro got the carriage moving. "Where to next, love?"
