Good times. I'd be happy getting a secretarial job (at the least), but I'm looking for data entry or code trouble shooting. Just a job dealing with computers that'll give me at least a little experience, get my feet wet kinda job. As soon as September rolls around I'll be starting school for software engineering.

Software Engineering? I took a course in that last quarter. Definitely not the most technical area of computer science. Isn't too interesting to me. I'll stick with the mad science end.

You guys should combine your power to write some sort of code that'll punt Xol's posts directly into the Dojo and out of the bedroom, hallway, garage, pool, kitchen, living room, study, lawn, car, roof, etc etc etc.
Hell. Just make the code remove Phia altogether. xp

What class did you take then Than? It was probably a fairly basic class, because I seriously doubt you delved too deeply into subject to scoff it off so lightly. True it's no thermal mechanics (the most useless class I've ever had the misfortune of having to sit through), but it's not exactly a walk in the park either.

Eh, I didn't really like thermodynamics much either, though the Carnot engine stuff was kinda fun. But, I'd practically be begging to get shot by the next mad scientist if I called it useless. I assume you're just referring to the particular class you took.
The software engineering class was an introductory one that went into sufficient detail for each part of the process for me to see where it would go next. My class broke the process up into four main parts: user requirement specification, architecture design, implementation, and testing.
The implementation stuff is the most technical part, since that's the step of the process where the actual coding is. The user requirement stuff is pretty cat and mouse, but the architecture stage is kind of fun to play around with. Obviously the testing is a fairly technical thing as well.
It was a fun class, but again I don't really see it as my preferred area of expertise. Note, I'm not saying the full industrial process is a cake walk, but the whole thing just isn't my piece of cake. I'm pretty sure I'll use some of the stuff I learned from it though.

I'm almost tempted to just skip the bullshit, bring Draeken back, and start causing havoc!

Well Zely had said he doesn't come by so much, so may be your only option?

Just to point it out, Elergy, Xol and Sai are outside the dojo, not inside.

I think he edited. There's mention of outside/inside now.

I lay much of the delay blame at Zely's feet. That and the fact that I've been at Ft. Knox for the past 16 weeks getting my a** kicked into shape by the Army. ^_^
