No, it's more of a strategy game. You get some chakra and decide how to use it with your 3 chosen characters. It's turn based.

that was a close battle i messed up by attacking kabuto because i thought he had a healing jutsu like sakura

I used to play that game too, found out I suck at it lol so I stopped. But hey check out Drago's star wars guild, its coming along well...

I was a sannin once, using the infamous OHKO team (I don't know if this is still possible-- if you stunned with Tenten and then stunned with Haku, and then waited for the second round, you could kill the entire enemy team with Beheading Dance+Twin Dragons+Ice Needles.
