During the Orion's Belt roleplay (which a good portion of my character's story line comes from) there was a race of giant fishmen. Massive! Like 9 feet tall and three hundred plus pounds of pure muscle and bone - as they had a hard exoskeleton. Imagine making one of THOSE to seduce the matriarch of their battle fleet (that out numbered you ship to ship bout four to one, but you out numbered her in sheer tonnage) from attacking you.
Now THAT was weird.
