[OOC:] Nope. Nothing emotion_yatta After having intruded on the raven's living room for a while, Kaya decided to head upstairs and try Shiro's room again. She didn't knock, since she figured the two were still asleep. She would just have to wake them up. But she raised her eyebrows to see her daughter kissing the raven, and she cleared her throat.

Shiro glanced up and suddenly paled, breaking the kiss. There was Maria's mom! How long had she been standing there?! Suddenly Shirp's face flushed brightly as he made his wings disappear, trying to make himself stop being so red.

Maria was going to ask Shiro what was going on when his wings disappeared, but then she looked in the direction that he was. There was her mom... "M-mom! Wh-what are you doing here?" Kaya smiled a little bit and shook her head. "Maria, I'd like to talk to Shiro please." Maria nodded, hesitantly leaving her mother and her boyfriend. Kaya stepped forward and tilted her head. "So, Shiro..."

Shiro sat up as Maria left him alone with Kaya. He was still red, trying not to look at the teacher. "W-What...."

Shiro sighed a little. Did he really have to explain this? "We ravens are born with a curse that appeared after a natural disaster. The priests think it was punishment or something. And every thousand births, the kid gets the beast. I was lucky enough to get a seal on me before I transformed. A lot of people died trying to get rid of it."

Shiro shook his head some, scratching his hair. "It got released two days ago. It went rampaging, but Maria managed to stop it. It seems that's how you cured the blasted thing. But it seems I needed it to live, as I was crashing without its presence. Which is why Maria went back to Mesilici to get Anya. And she saved my life."

Kaya smiled, impressed with her daughter. She knew that the girl had been through quite a bit, but that she was able to save the boy's life and cure him of an ancient curse.... Well, she certainly had quite a bit of her father in her! "Do you think you have done the same?"

Shiro looked to Kaya, a bit confused. He shrugged a little, looking away. "I-I don't know... I-I don't think I've done anything for her..."

Kaya smiled, satisfied. It was a truthful answer, and that had been what she wanted. "I'll go say goodbye to my daughter, then. School won't be starting up again until after the winter holidays. I will see you both then." Kaya left the room, hugged and spoke with her daughter, and then left the village. Maria went back into Shiro's room, biting her lip. "How bad?"

Shiro flopped back on his bed when Maria came back in. "I have no clue. Your mom is so confusing." the raven groaned, rubbing his eyes.

Maria laughed and sat beside Shiro. "Believe me, I know. I've only known her for a few months, and it's so confusing."

Shiro sighed and rolled over, placing his head on Maria's lap. He relaxed there before looking at at Maria. "You're really pretty in this light." he said with a small smile.

Maria raised her eyebrow as Shiro rested his head in her lap, but she just started to play with his hair, not saying anything. When he spoke, she blushed and glanced away.
