The elder nodded some. "Here. They should be in Shiro's room. They are probably asleep. Their day has been quite stressful." the man said, leading the cheetah up to Shiro's room and opening the door. And there his prediction was right. Shiro had his arms wrapped around Maria under a thick blanket, him still fast asleep.

Kaya smiled as she looked down at her daughter curled up with the raven. She shook her head happily and gently closed the door. "I guess I'll talk to them later."

After a while, Shiro began to wake up, yawning softly. He nestled up to Maria more, not wanting to get up. He wanted to stay in bed and cuddle his girlfriend more. It was too peaceful.

Maria, being tired from all the events, continued to sleep soundly, curled up against Shiro with her forehead resting on his chest.

Shiro smiled, feeling her curl up against him more. He sprouted his wings and gently maneuvered them around her so that she was enveloped in warm ebony feathers.

Maria sighed happily, feeling warmer. She smiled in her sleep.

Shiro smiled and let her sleep. As he laid there and thought, he began to stroke her hair softly, wondering what she was dreaming about.

Really, Maria wasn't dreaming about anything. But at some point, she started to wake up, her eyes fluttering open.

Shiro was looking out the window when she was waking up. He looked to her and smiled some, giving her a soft hug. "Sleep well?"

Maria nodded sleepily, yawning a little and nuzzling Shiro. "You're warm," she muttered.

Shiro smiled more and nuzzled her back. "And you're cuddly." he whispered, kissing her forehead softly. He liked cuddling with her. As he mused to himself for a moment, he ran his fingers through her hair, enjoying the feel of it through his fingers.

Maria rolled her eyes a little, before closing her eyes as Shiro ran his fingers through her hair. She liked the feeling, remembering when she lived with her adoptive mother, who would play with her hair when she was younger. She opened her eyes fully, seeing his wings for the first time. She carefully ran her fingertips over the closest feathers, smiling.

Shiro smiled some as she felt his feathers, making his wings shift a little and flap. He then kissed her sweetly, blissfully unaware that Maria's mother was here.

Shiro smiled, feeling her fingers tangle in his hair. It felt pretty good for someone to be this close to him and share this moment with. For the first time he could be intimate.
