Danny heard adventure.
Danny was going to find the adventure.
She gestured to Rikki by grabbing his wrist and tugging him along, then took her leave.

His eyes got huge. "I--I am--" he said dramatically. "Hold me! I don't wanna die alone!"

Rikki tripped after Danny because he had little choice. He just hoped that it wouldn't end in doom like everything seemed to.

Lark fought back a laugh, doing her best to look absolutely dire and most serious. "'fraid yer too far gone, Roch. Was nice knowin' ya. I'll let th'band know that yer not comin' back. Guess I'ma have t'find a new boil t'take me out next weekend, too." She gave the saddest sigh and patted Roch's shoulder. Ben looked quite mournful, too, though laughter danced in his eyes.

It was the strangest of sensations for Jing when he walked in in tow of Na'ima tugging at his arm, she was leaving horrible little creases in his outfit and just even thinking about telling her to not do that just felt like it would be in vain. It was going to happen and he was just going to stand there and take it. But the ruffles in his exceptionally detailed outfit was worth it when they entered the main area. It was alive with sights and lights and sounds and music, music that shook him from the inside out, it was enchanting, the whole scenario, it made his being just vibrate in excitement as he held onto the mare in delight. It was somewhat new, the soirees he remembered having to attend were delicate and well coiffed, nothing this raw and powerful. Somewhere inside, it resonated with him, being around loud music, the revelry and the eating, it for some reason, felt like second nature. All that he could swear was missing was a felt table for little white rectangle cards to hold and the click clacking sound of wooden and plastic coins hitting each other in a symphony of tones. It felt right, that was the only way that the artisan boil could describe that sensation that washed over him in a torrent, it was simply right. "How exciting, what shall we see first? Na'ima, Mmur?" he didn't care what they did, as long as they were in the thick of it. it was a party and he was willing to push aside his zen. if only for one night. "I want to dance, but I know I have four left hooves."

The wrath demon tugged at the shoulder of his very sparkly vest, some part of his subconscious clearly wishing that he had chosen a garment with actual sleeves. Even so, the gesture went unnoticed by the more active parts of the boil's brain. He had far more interesting things to hold his attention tonight. The arm that wasn't fidgeting was twined with his ghoulfriend's hand, and his gaze was focused on the giant tent that loomed in front of them. Tonight was the Amityville prom, his third, and he was quite looking forward to the spectacle this year.
"Might even dance some," West muttered, continuing his thoughts out loud. He turned to Levi with a devious smirk. "Y'know, without..." He paused. Was she even aware that the majority of the dancing he had done at the previous prom had been fueled by either A) an accidental anger high or B) him looking for an excuse to touch her more? Probably not. Hm. "Without... bein' asked." There. Fixed. "Might even ask you. We could start right now. Music's loud enough." One thing was for sure, between the last dance and this one it seemed the boil had gotten over his fear of others finding out that he and the tatzel were together. He glowered at a reaper that got too close, his tail loosening from where it gripped hers as he prepared to jump the kid if he said anything. West might have been okay with the world knowing about them, but that didn't mean he wanted people to stare.
Safely past the nosy student, he looked down at where her gloved hand rested in the crook of his arm. He hadn't gotten her a corsage this year, but it didn't really fit with the theme. The knives in his boots did, however. He bent to quickly retrieve one as they walked. "Think they're foolin' anybody?" he asked, stabbing himself in the thigh.

Every so often Levi would catch an action out of the corner of her eye. It wasn't hard to miss the discomfort the wrath demon so casually seemed to display. The ghoul had seen her way around enough ghouly garment things to know a tug of agitation when she saw one. There was no drive, however, for her to call him on it. West was a big enough boil to wear something if he wanted to; or not. Can't quite put ma'finger on'it, but seems sorta homey, don't it? Looking about the tent, with its loud and rowdy sounds coming from the interior, Levi's tail (now a makeshift snake prop) swung with West's in delight. Perhaps it was the fact that this was the first time their prom had been held outside of the Amity buildings. Like the celebrations back home, everything was outdoors. It wasn't a bad way to go about it if this was going to be the very last of her proms. Kekeke She began tugging at West's arm playfully urging him into the mix until the boil confessed to his own... excitement? At first the tatzel's brows misaligned in a questioning rise and fall, puzzled as to how it came to be that her boilfriend would choose of his own right to dance with others. Really now? His follow-up of "being asked" would earn a secong-long stern squint. Then the intended meaning kicked in. Kekeke~ then I'm lookin' forward ta'seein' ya'll give 'er a go. From what I dun recall, boil, them limbs a'yers don't need no invitation. They're just as keen as a werecoyote killin' critters. As usual, Levi's comparisons were clear as crystal to her and the certainty showed in her smirk and tone. Just depends on who's askin' who first then, I reckon. N' how long ya'stay up. The opening was quite inviting, and Levi's smile grew the closer they got, completely oblivious to anyone gawking. The tatzel too had become a bit more at ease regarding her situation relationship with the birdboil she once called her opponent. In all manners of speaking, he still was, but now Levi didn't mind coming into contact with West while saying so. Levi squeezed on the boil's tail when it felt like it was letting loose on instinct. By the time she'd settled her eyes back onto West, he'd bent down towards his boot. It was all a part of the ceremony. This year, students were to dress according to a carnival theme, and West's guise was that of a knife thrower. The two had gone through the interwebs looking at various choices for this evening's dress code. Once they had a few printed out, they went to a maul outside the usual ones they'd frequent. Roberto was a special sort of tailor who West seemed to believe would do the job for this challenge given, unlike past proms, these were garments that were also part costume. Custom robes had to be made. They won't if ya'keep pokin' yerself with'em like that. Though if ya'want some marks on ya ta'make it more believeable, yew just gotta ask, boil. With her free gloved hand, the tatzel ran her fingertips over the top of West's forearm with some force, a big grin being offered along with the offer. They were now entering the large opening of the tent and, as to be expected, the sound coming from outside the tent certainly intensified within. Leaning towards West, Levi spoke with a bit more tempo to be as clear as possible over the backdrop tunes. So Westus... Was there anythin' yew wanted ta'do? Maybe~... Like dance? Levi tilted her head innocently towards her shoulder, peering over to the dance floor without moving her head before looking back to the demon. Surely West wouldn't have gotten away with asking first, Levi thought.

In the very beginning, the skeleton boil hadn’t been planning to attend the prom, but here he was anyways. He supposed it was good to get out and temporarily stop being an introvert. The more TK imagined himself in his dorms or at the library reading a book, somehow the lamer it appeared. Thin fingers adjusted his top hat as he entered and looked around curiously. Eyes narrowed slightly, the only signs of dissatisfaction as the music rang loudly. “Hmmm~” Arms crossed, TK drummed his fingers while he admired the set up. It must have taken quite a bit of time. Surely his classmates wouldn’t mind if he admired the scenery by himself for a few minutes?
After thoroughly taking in the sights and sounds, he chuckled and began to search for familiar faces. The area wasn’t big in his opinion, but the myriad of students certainly made it difficult for the undead to spot a familiar ghost speaking with another ghoul. He walked over in a few, long strides. “Miss Eira,” he greeted with a nod, his quiet voice barely heard above the crowd. As he smoothed out the wrinkles of his ringmaster attire, TK quickly surveyed the ghost’s attire. He smiled warmly. “The dress suits you very nicely. I especially like the color.” Then his glowing yellow eyes looked at the other ghoul and nodded politely. “Hello.”

Olivia had said her goodbyes to Mia and Molan at the fun house, their intent to return inside for another round while she had hoped to go with Andrew to play some of the games. Which, didn't seem to happen. Because somehow she had lost Andrew along the way. (This was why she held hands!) A little saddened by the lack of Andrew - and now Mia and Molan - the little wight headed to the main part of the tent. Perhaps in hopes of finding him waiting there, like he had gone on a head by accident like in the fun house, or actually maybe also just finding someone else.
There were still many creeple inside, even if she didn't greet all of them. But at least many to stare at as they continued to eat food and dance in one of the many areas. This would also at least give her a chance to grab a cupcake. Which she did. It looked lovely. Hopefully it tasted as such.
phantompanther13 Olivia is now here, 'cause I got bored, yo.

Christof actually laughed, a muffled, nervous and ill-practiced noise, his smile remaining even as he gently rubbed the back of his hand. "You-look-frontwise." He signed before the blush returned and his hands flailed as he tried again, "Lovely!" The wild motion added the silent exclamation for him. He straightened up as much as he could, hooking his smaller right thumb and the claw of his left thumb into the belt lined with knives, trying to look dapper in his costume.

"Haven't we already had this conversation?" Roch said. "Screechie, I'm the j ackin' best. Y'just ain't figured it out yet," he told her with an evil grin. "C'mon, stand by an' keep people from stoppin' my table raid, guys," he said, reaching for both of them to tug them off the dance floor and over to the food table.

If Alexander wanted his normal boilfriend back, thirty minutes were not up. Still, Yin was allowing himself to be led away, swaying a bit more than strictly necessary and once spinning away from Alexander only to spin back into his arms, a grin tugging at his mouth. Otherwise just swaying would be far too droll. Then he seemed to look up, realizing they were closer to the table, and realization hit him. "Oh dear, was I taking you away from your duties as security? Please tell me it is not so." The look on his face was one of the utterly distraught before he pulled away from Alexander in order to sink down onto one knee, looking up at the zomboil as his hands made their usual gesture for a bow in front of him. "I, Yin Cang, pledge my services to you, Alexander Van Rotte. I shall help you guard this prom until such time as I am relieved of my duties."-------------- Soren watched as her eyes looked away, knowing that there was something in the dual-colored orbs that he could probably read into, but for now he lifted his own gaze as well. He looked out over the crowd, taking note of those he knew, horsemen mostly, though a few students looked familiar. He was playing at something. He was acting like a guardian, a personal guardian, and he did not have that right. He was not even sure he was ready to have that right. He swallowed, thoughts flashing to Astridr, and resolutely pushed the feelings down. Not to ignore them, but simply to keep them at bay until he was alone, until he had the time to himself to think about things. For now though, his attention was on the lady in his arms. he continued to sway with her, looking down until she met his eyes. When the song ended and then began to repeat he took a half step away from her, clearing his throat. "Did you have anyone you wished to greet?"
