This is soooo frustrating. I took Calc I over at the community college, and now I'm in Calc II at a real university, and I'm expected to know stuff that we never even covered in Calc I. It's taking me so long just to do this little 30-question "review" thing. I literally broke down and cried for a couple minutes between sections because this crap is due by midnight and I basically have to learn it all on my own right now and I just want to go to bed. Plus I have a 10-page paper to write about boring crap I barely care about and the Ancient Mysteries powerpoints took forever to cooperate (yellow writing on a black background? Seriously?) And of course once I finally finished making them printer-friendly, the printer ran out of ink. So now I can't print any of the stuff I need and I don't know how to do these ******** problems and McDonald's is probably going to call me back next week, so I might have a job on top of all this, so I'll have even LESS free time. The bus ride to and from school takes foreverrrr, and there's so much wasted time between getting out of class and getting on the bus... etc. And when I don't get a seat on the bus, I can't even catch up on the reading I need to do for that stupid Urban Studies paper! And I didn't get enough sleep, so I'm cranky and upset and I can't even go to sleep once I finish this stuff because then Alex will be online, and I really need him right now, and I'm totally freaking out and I feel like I'm about to cry again and ALEXNEEDSTOGETONLINERIGHTNOWANDMAKEITBETTER! To be clear, this is not about someone in the guild nor is it guild related.
Recently a person who was on my friends list for a long time now and who I've talked to on and off for almost a year now scammed me. How? I am a nice person and when they came to me asking me for some gold help with getting an item that they were questing for that they weren't having any luck saving up for, I felt for them and gave them a very decent donation. But after a while I noticed that they never seemed to have this much needed/wanted item that they swore was their dream item equipped. They ignored my light-hearted inquiries about it and ended up blocking me and removing me from their friends list quite suddenly.
This upset me quite a bit, but it also worried me as I feared they were hacked. And I PM'd a few folks that I recall them knowing from their comments. It seems that they had also got the same SOB story from them and also gave them quite a lot of gold as gifts to assist in getting the quest item. And they also got ignored and removed from this person's friends list.
So it seems we were all taken. sad We figure that this person has abandoned this account and set up a new one, or it was an account that was made just for begging. In either case I feel used and foolish as I really felt that I knew them and trusted them.
I'm a lot less trusting now.
This is also the mystery behind my recent status. I'm seriously thinking of taking along hiatus from Gaia once this event is done and my wing stickers can be cashed in.

I woke up earlier than I needed to so that I'd have time to read some more of my Urban Studies book for that stupid paper I need to write. Then my mom was like "I wanna take you up to the bank at 10:30 and get you a checking account set up!" and I was like grrrrrr, but I was all dressed and ready to go at 10:30 and then she got home and played around on Facebook for over half an hour while I just sat there waiting. Like she'd say "We should probably... get... gooooing........" as she obviously got distracted by something else on Facebook and didn't even move from her seat. And then when we finally got down there, I ended up needing two forms of ID, and I only brought one, so we had to come back home and go back out again. And it took FOREVER to get everything set up. Like really forever. Like an hour. And I didn't even get a sucker. Now I'm home again, and I have an hour and a half. And I still have to eat and stuff, so that doesn't leave a whole lot of time for homework. And here I am wasting what little time I do have ranting XD
