"Somebody's mad..." Alyssa muttered humming to herself. She got up to stand between Alex and Mark. "Just shut up, I told her she could try and move, but if she showed any sign of pain she'd have to sit right back down. So you can stop your shouting and calm down!" Alyssa said, dagger in hands. The look in her eyes was daring him to say something back, probably to give her a valid reason to try and get rid of him.

((Dang....Mark is funny. And Elias...lol, sorry.
@Yuki--shall we say that this person is not really a person, but just some kind of dummy meant to lead them into a trap? And the person who is trailing them is seen briefly in the hall before he/she vanishes completely? And then we can meet Elisa or an Elisa-decoy in the other room, where she's tied and gagged; the source of the moaning? ))
"What is that?" Aura asked, seeing a glimpse of red as she helped Karin with the box. "How did this thing even walk?"
She stopped for a moment and recollected that she had never seen it walk, only a shadow move towards them. "A trap?"
Mark must have been telling the truth--someone's following us via the cameras...I need to get to the bottom of this. Quickly.
She saw something drop and bent to pick it up for her, but shen she looked, there was nothing but a hole in the carpet. "Did you drop something?"
How did this hole get here?

((Elias was completely pwned right there, yea, I agree.
I'll stick to Silver's idea then that Elisa is gagged somewhere in the adjoining room?))
A few moments after Mark left, Elias heard screaming from the other room and picked up the gathered supplies and stuck them in a crate. A bottle of solution fell on his shoe and he righted it, scowling. At least it hadn't stained his socks; he'd noticed that all the other guests so far had taken their shoes off.
When he arrived, Elias extracted a roll of gauze and bandages and laid it aside for Alex in case her wound started bleeding again. Then set to taping cushions together and securing them above the couches. I much look like an idiot, defacing my own house for the sake of the probably useless defenses.

((Lolx yea I agree with what everyone said in (()) Hey everyone, I might not be one again for a while...My family life right now isn't the best...I'll try to get on, but I just wanted to let you all know.))
Mark looked at Alyssa mockingly. "Oh really? You're going to try and take me out? HA! Good luck. You probably couldn't stab a peice of meat with that knife!"
Alex shook her head and put her hands over her face.

((Im fine with any of those ideas.))
"The metal container's gone." Karin said, "And I think this is the work of one of those puppeteers that can throw their voices." Her fingers tightened on the daggers she had on her belt. I hate this...being followed, and not being able to see them... wait...this thing is clothed in silver. Can this be the 'silvery ghost' mentioned in the poem?

"Mark stop. Sit down and relax. I won't move or try to move again." Alex said.
"Damn right you won't!" He replied sitting down.

"Idiot." Alyssa muttered, talking about Mark of course. "Oh and you're quite wrong about the fact that I can't stab a piece of meat with this knife. You could ask your friends who got the pleasure of meeting me that but, but you can't, they're dead." She told him, grinning a bit. Alyssa ran her finger along the dagger, examining the handle of it carefully.

Elias tried to ignore the bickering rather unsuccessfully and kept glancing at either Mark or Alyssa, fearful that one of them would abruptly explode at the other.
((@Your_Last_Wish_For_Death--I'm so sorry sad Hope it gets better!))

((Lyrica, you can call me Sabrina. Yea, I hope so too...))
Mark laughed. "I'm not like the others." He said to Alyssa.

"Are you willing to test your luck that far tonight?" Mark asked a dangerous glint in his eyes, as if he was beckoning her to fight him.
Alex was shocked and horrified. "Mark don't..." She whispered.

"I think I could be. And again I will state the fact that you are probably only an eighth as scary as you think you are." Alyssa replied to Mark, her lips starting to curve into a smile, this was exactly what she wanted.
"Well, sitting around with him, treating him like he's in just as much danger as we are is taking us at least two steps back." She said to Elias, calmly, controlling her anger well.

((Lolx, Welcome. Thanks.)) Mark laughed a little at that. It was a sarcastic cruel laugh. "I'm in no danger at all." He replied to Alyssa, eyes glittering with malice.
Alex put a hand on Mark's shoulder. "Please?" SHe asked.

Elias nodded in reply to Alyssa, acceding, but pointed out, "Fighting would be too. Conflict between the us survivors wouldn't do anyone but the kidnappers good.
"Mark, I know you're only here for Alex, but couldn't you try to cooperative with the rest of us? It doesn't look like your bickering is doing Alex much good anyways."
He looked around to ensure the makeshift defenses--duct-taped cushions--and frowned. He didn't see how the complex-patterned cushions would benefit them against a skilled assassin.
