Most of them are ugly, but there are plenty of super adorable ones, too.
In my first playthrough I managed to only have one really ugly pokemon on my main team (and he started out cute).
(I disagree about them being recycled, but I won't argue.)
You should definitely get them.
And hey, check out all the new ones and tell me what you like along with your Friend Code. I'll breed and trade you whatever you like so you don't have to use ugly pokemon you think are crap.
The player characters are older (like 15/16 I think, instead of 10) and the antagonists are just
amazing. I can't even tell you much without spoiling the plot.
They are fun to look at, aren't they?
