Mizu Odoriko Mizu nodded and with a soft "hai Okaa-sama," she was in the kitchen, preparing tea. Once done, she made her way to the maids' chamber, hoping to be of some use with a tea-tray in her hands.

Rose returns from buying rice for dinner. she was a rather stubborn girl and only been in the okiya for two or three days. she makes no noise as she slips from her shoes and gliding along the wood floor and into the kitchen. she sets the bag of rice in a cubbord, walking off.

Tora awoke from her deep sleep. She sat up and streatched. After she had a good yawn, she went to the bath house and ran some water. She hoped into the bath and rested for a bit. After she washed and dried but on her kukata and went back into the okiya for breakfast.

((sorry for not posting,but I think my charr will stay here in the okiya since there is a party going on. I don't want to be rude and walk in uninvited ))
Rune smiled at the girl's shyness and bowed "well I must go please come by and talk to me sometime" With this Rune walked back inside the okiya. She headed straight for the kichtion to cook she grabbed some rice and put it in a pot to soften. They she picked up some vegetables and began to chop them into small peaces. They grilling them she also picked up a fish not of a large size but still could feed two or three people. Rune poured out the rice and let it strain then grabbed a plate then put the vegetables all around the border. Lastly she place the grilled fish on a wood plank and cut them in strips placing each one in a row making a flower with the pink flesh showing. Picking up the plate and rice bowl she made her way to the table,she place the fish down in the middle and the rice right next to it. "ahhhh all done not bad uhh Rune" Rune said to herself laughing. Then making her way back to the kichtion she started a pot of tea and grabbed some plates and chopsticks. "well when everyone smells this food they all come like flys" rune said placing the plates down all around the table with chopsticks in the middle. Smelling the air she could tell the tea was done so quickly going back she picked up some 5 tea cups and balanced them in her hand while holding the tea pot. Rune walked slowly to the table and set the cups down gently and then the pot. "now it's all done" Rune said sitting down. She looked at all the hard work she had done then taking her chopsticks she picked up a peace of fish then the vegetables. Later she put some rice in a bowl next to her,lastly she poured herself some tea and began to eat.

Rose sits on the stone path way washing kimonos and other clothing items. she still hasnt spoken a word to anyone and could be believed to be mute, or uneducated, both she was not. she finishes and hangs the clothing out to dry going back inside with the already dry clothings.

Aire was waiting for something to do... what better chance was there to interact with people and get to know them, than to help them with chores? It was her decision... this was what she was going to do. Whenever someone was doing something alone, Aire would show up to lend a hand. With newfound resolve and the smile on her face to prove it, she approached Rose.
"Here, let me help you with those. It's no good doing it alone when I'm unoccupied, is it?" Not really waiting for a response... because why would reject help?... she started pulling clothes off the top of Rose's pile so they could each share half of the load, no matter how light or heavy it may be.

It took all Tora had to hold back a large grin and tears. She kept them back. "Thank you so much," she said with a shy, innocent smile. She bowed low in thanks to Nitta-sama. "I am very greatful and honored Nitta-sama. I take this position with respect and honor," she said standing up. Her dream had finnaly been reached. But she couldn't stop now, there was always new things to be learned and room for improvment.

She looks at the girl helping her, staring at her blankly and saying nothing, only nodding. once they finish she stands up, a slight smile across her lips. she softly says, also the first thing shes ever said to anyone here, "Thank you.." Even though her voice was quiet, it expressed alot about how she acted. but of course, her ruby eyes were the only thing that really showed her true form..

"Tora-chan!! I'm so happy for you!" Mizu cheered, her eyes filled with happy tears for the girl as she hugged her unceremoniously after she had paid her respects to Nitta-sama and Serena-sama. "Oh Tora-chan you lucky girl!" And she burst into tears, feeling so happy for her friend, and moved by the momentous occasion.

"Thank you so much, Mizu-chan!" Tora gleemed. Tears streamed down her face as she embraced ber best friend. "I'll do everything in my power to help you become a geisha," she whispered into her friend's ear. She let go and smiled at her, then winked.

Mizu laughed. "Oh don't worry about me Tora-chan, I'd rather have you as a best friend than become the best geisha in all of Gion any day!" Giving her friend a wink in return, she pulled away gently and smoothed her kimono. "Ne, is there anything anyone wants to eat or drink? I think all that crying has made me thirsty!"

Rose walks past the room with the new geisha and maiko were in, carrying the clothes she just finished washing with the gentle maid. she sets down the basket in the maids bedroom, walking back to the room the two women were in, expecting they wanted tea. but she didnt go inside the room.
