Not to sound stereotypical or anything.
Going by the look of the ethnicity of the two involved parties. I would say one of the many 'martial arts' films that defies every known law of physics.

Ryugi Kazamaru The Riot Guy I have a question, Ryugi. Was your slash coming from your right or from your left? From my right to my left. Hence why it ended up on my left side, and also why my RIGHT foot moved with the spin to hit your face. -.- *wishes he would've read this sooner hits forehead against keyboard goes and -redoes- his post to fit the described attack*

Now I have a question for you, Riot.
How are you stabbing the back of my left leg with your knife if I've just kicked you out of range, BEFORE that attack could take place?
Motion 1 - I slashed from right to left at your torso
Motion 2 - You ducked to avoid the slash and then tried to stab me
Motion 3 - My right leg kicked you in the head before you could strike with your arm, thereby preventing your attack from taking place. Furthermore, you were striking with your RIGHT arm, meaning, unless your arm can somehow extend as well, you'd simply be out of range to attack with your knife.
*Waits to see the edit*
Also, your helmet, unless padded or secured in some way, would still smash into your face by way of my foot smashing it INTO your face. Also, the jarring force from impact would still be there as well.

Anyhow, EDIT complete! *sighs* Versatility brings so many complications, really...
