Diablo's mother raised her eyebrows before steering Myra out of the room. "You are absolutely perfect for my son," she said cheerfully.

Myra gasped a little as she was being steered out. "W-Where are we going?" she asked, not sure she actually wanted to go anymore.

"To the party! You and Diablo will be making a grand entrance together!" Sure enough, at the end of the hall, there stood Diablo in his black tux, messing with his tie and being scolded by a maid for messing his hair.

Myra blushed even more as she spotted Diablo at the end of the hall. That tux looked good on him. But the slicked back hair didn't. She finally was released by Diablo's mother and went over to him, blushing some. The she ruffled his hair, making it the scruffy that she liked. He looked too weird with slicked back hair. But she smiled sheepishly, fiddling with a bracelet the demon's mother had put on her. Myra felt a little awkward wearing such an odd dress in front of Diablo.

Diablo blushed a little himself, though he tried to hide it, when Myra messed up his hair. His mother popped up and smiled. "You're right; he's much cuter when he looks like he just woke up. Now for the entrance!" Just as quickly as she'd appeared she disappeared, and music started playing. "I'm sorry about all of this," Diablo whispered quietly, taking Myra's hand and squeezing as he started to lead her to the party.

Myra smiled a little and shrugged as they entered the ballroom. "It's fine. I'm not alone at least." she said, holding his hand more.
[OOC:] I'm tempted to have her punch someone right in the nose and get all royal on their butt!

[OOC:] Well, Diablo would probably think it was pretty awesome. Diablo's dad would probably respect it. His mom might laugh....I don't know. Go for it! When Diablo and Myra entered the ballroom, a lot of eyes turned to them. Then all the rest did, too. Everyone was eying Myra, the mysterious girl that Diablo had brought home. But then everyone started to smile and such. A few of Diablo's cousins came around and started to compliment them. However, one boy stood in the edges of the crowds, glaring at his cousin and Myra.

Myra blushed a little at all the attention, smiling ever so sweetly as she said hello and accepted compliments. But she never let go of Diablo's hand, keeping her close to him. She soon noticed the boy glaring at her and she sent quite a glare back before going back to smiling at the other guests.

Diablo, not seeing his cousin, whispered to Myra that he would be back with drinks. He knew that his cousins would kill her or maim her, but he wouldn't be gone too long. However, it was enough time for that cousin on the fringes to make his way to Myra. "You're a little too pretty for Diablo, don't you think?" he whispered softly in her ear, as the others seemed to turn away and rejoin the party. "Whatever it is you like about him, I'll bet you'll love on me." [OOC:] Somebody get this guy a knuckle sandwich.

Myra nodded to Diablo and resumed talking with the others before they rejoined the party as well. Then she heard someone whisper in her ear. But she turned and gave him a bit of a look. "And what makes you say that? I happen to like Diablo quite a lot. I doubt you could change my mind." she said, giving his person an analyzing glance, clearly unimpressed.

The cousin raised his eyebrow and put his hand on Myra's waist. "I wouldn't say that. You barely know me yet."

Myra's eyebrow tweaked in annoyance. She didn't like having a hand on her if it wasn't someone she knew, or if they weren't doing anything aside from dancing. That and this guy was starting to annoy her. "Please remove your hand from my person. Or I cannot guarantee I won't force you to do so." she declared, crossing her arms, looking up at him sternly.

Myra pushed his hand away from her hair. She about ready to clock this boy if he didn't stop harassing her and indirectly Diablo. But sadly this was a public event. Unless he did something she couldn't stand, she could only leave him and try and find Diablo.

The cousin laughed and took Myra's wrist, starting to tug her. "Come on. You'll dance with me, and then you'll forget about Diablo."
