I must be cured. I've managed to stay away from Gaia for a few days, allowing me to get on with work. Unfortunatly, I've gotten back into SNES games. Oh, it's a never ending cycle of things I'd rather do than work.

Rolf Eusis Hours my a**. Maybe a few months ago it was like that, but now just click the link to the forum and there's 2 to 5 spam threads right there. ANd it only takes a minute to redirect someone and report the thread unless your connection truly sucks. For me, at least, to really feel like I've done something takes me working in the VGD cleaning for at least a couple hours. I wasn't referring to an individual thread, but rather the minimum of a days worth of VGP-ing. And I'll drop you on Friday.

Rolf Eusis Since this thread gets the most attention I'll just say it here:
This guild has become a lie. Most of the members just sit around here and do nothing about the spam, others have become rather hostile. Both of these types of members have left those who actually try doing something with more of a challenge as there is less help dealing with the problems.
Some people seem to have even forgotten about morals, thinking that "Hey now that I'm one of the 'helpful' people I can be rude and call it helping."
This problem, combined with my hatred for a few of the more unbearable members, has convinced me to leave.
See you guys around and hopefully you'll get the act together, or you'll simply fall apart. Well, the thing is, that's true, I know a few people in our guild who like never direct n00b/newbs to other threads. o_o; From what I've seen, atleast.

I haven't been into the VGD for a few months because I haven't felt like it and because there are far too many morons there right now. I'm not in this guild because I actively try to help newbies, but I DO if and when I am actually there. I'm in this guild because Darc invited me, and because now I have quite a few.. peoplethatItalkto (I won't say friends in case you are all closet Rolfs) here.
I will start posting again in the new year, but with people being off for Christmas and tons of fanboy-loved games having recently been released the VGD has no threads that interest me currently, so I have no real incentive to try and protect it from it's own s**t.
PLEASE stop discussing this here, as it's hardly the place. If you feel the need to discuss it further please create a new thread.

Well I do try to help newbies when I can, but most of the time I end up in threads where someone has already dealt with the matter, VGP or non-VGP. Still that doesn't make other stop repeating that one point, getting more aggressive as they go.
I guess the fact that most titles in the VGD are names of games has put me off. There is so much I can talk about one game before it bores me. Unless there is a good discussion thread, then I stay here.

With Beramode's sticky, it's hard for me to do anything or report anything anymore that I used to. I don't even know what to do anymore, so I just answer along to threads, etc. I just have fun like I did before the structure of the VGD became a "problem".. x_x;
Besides, I'm gonna be away ALOT come this Christmas. I have soley promised that I will CRY on Christmas day if I DON'T get Xbox Live. You shall hear my cries and screams throught the land, if I don't get what I want.
