"For a while I couldn't stand to be touched, and I wouldn't go outside. I really shut down. But I was told that Kaden would win if I did...and he didn't deserve to win, so I didn't let him. If I've changed...then the change is me being a bit more wary, more grown up so to speak. But she let it go as Zahara did and smiled as the yougn drow was getting the hang of it now. "There you go, you're getting it." Two more levels up in that tree...though Zahara would notice branches naturally thinning as they got higher up. "Back home, we used to race one another up trees, and the view is the reward." Stopping and perching on a branch she looked down at Zahara but didn't offer her hand. "Come on, try on your own now."

"I don't think I've heard anyone my age speak so highly of me. As I said, I'm seen as nothing more than a little surface elf pet down here to most. I'ts frustrating at times." But a big smile as Zahara called her crazy, but pulled herself up all the same. "Not crazy...this is just how trees are." Walking her way to the trunk of the tree, not even using her arms to keep her balance she got to the trunk and pulled up on a branch but kept her weight bared against the trunk. "We'll just bear our weight on the tree and not the branches. Don't give up on me now, just a little farther and we're there. I guarentee you'll like it, especially with your darkvision."

She took on an aloof thinking look. "A lot of people as thier gods that. I guess there's just something about it. But good that you've got the hang of it, now let's conquer this tree eh friend?" A little laugh before she took to the last two sets of branches, poking her head out of sickly leaves and mist from said tree, very faint but it was there. Hm, maybe the leaves produced it. But as with everytime she gazed out from teh tree tosp she was awestruck...even for the Underdark, a tree top view couldn't be beat. "I told you it was incredible."

Zahara rolled her eyes and said, "I'm sure Malik asks his god everyday." She followed Piper up. Friend. That took her by surprise and she paused for a moment and smiled softly. A funny feeling started in her chest and went all the way through her to her toes giving her a happy and warm sensation. Friend. That one word meant quite a bit to her but she composed herself then climbed up the last two branches and stood next to Piper and immediately caught her breath. "Oh my...it's indescribable..." And it was, a fantastic view over the tops of the trees she felt like she was on top of the world. Zahara let out a happy laugh, "This is great!"

"It was absolutely worth it. I'm so glad I let you talk me into this. Malik will probably kill us both but this makes it all worth it." She was quiet for a moment just taking in the scenery and marveling at the beauty. On the ground the Underdark could be a frightening and very ugly place to some. Mainly those who remember the sun and green grass and healthy looking trees. But Zahara had never known that and had always found a strange sort of beauty in her homeland. "Well if it gets too difficult I could always levitate down. It worked from Malik's roof."

Zahara blinked and Piper was gone. Oh now it was on! Drow hate to lose. In the next instant she had stepped out of the tree and was basically falling. She maintained a rigid stance as though she was skydiving with her feet straight in front of her and her arms at her side. She was going to wait until she was almost at the ground to levitate because doing it straight down would take far too long. She wasn't one who could levitate quickly, she hadn't had the patience to sit there and learn. So she fell instead and at the last possible second let loose a chant and glided gracefully onto Serino's back. She turned to the tree and then looked back adn shook her head, "You...surface elf!" Piper was seated on Nerian pretty as you please and had the gall to wave at her. It was so amusign that Zahara couldn't help it she burst into laughter.

Daz padded on with the eight pups that had servived, only now there was no play. The pups, and indeed the wolf, had learned all to harshly what it meant to loose their focus in times like this. So daze sniffed the wind and stayed down from it as much as possible. The pups jumped from behind bushes and fallen logs, never crossing clearings until daz had scouted. It was to dangerouse to stop for longer than it took to eat. Daz carried the pups in turn so that they could have a turn at sleeping.

The did not stop again until they reached deep water.

Eliot say infront of the dim fire in the oracle's house. Her tail swished the floor as sheher anger cooled off. She was ashamed of her self, her emotions had all tumbled out of herself when she found that Warren had a awakened that it was like Warren's words had set maches to gas. She had not really been angry with uim and did not quite understand her outburst. She would have to appologize to him, he did not deserve that.
